From The Incredible Hulk Season 4 Episode 9 'King Of The Beach' - A muscleman (Lou Ferrigno) dreams of winning enough money to open a beach cafe.
The Incredible Hulk (1977 - 1982): Dr. David Banner is a widowed scientist caught in the middle of an experiment gone bad. As a result, whenever Banner gets extremely upset or stressed out, he turns into a huge green monster called the Incredible Hulk, with awesome strength and rage to match.

I met Bill Bixby many years ago. While going to Cal-Arts in Los Angeles. They were filming a movie there. One of the nicest guys I had ever met. He signed my book I had that day. Still have that. Great actor.
This is the best interpretation of the Incredible Hulk. No cgi, no bullshit. RIP to Bill Bixby and anyone else related to this great series.
Hulk is so caring to kids. Hulk hates injustice, that's what makes him mad when Banner is attacked.
It's absolutely phenomenal how children were not at all afraid of the hulk. But adults were 🤣🤣🤣

How much more satisfying had David changed while the 2 hoods were dunking him.
That's how they should have done it, but if that happened, they would have found out about him and changing into the hulk, so they probably would have reported it to the police and most likely David would have had to high tail it out of town before McGee showed up.
I always wondered how no part of the pier collapsed after the Hulk destroyed so many beams.

Not putting it down or anything, and I know it was for the action but how far away did those guys go during the first hulkout? He bust through how many beams to get to them. One of my favorite episodes.
And they didn't hear anything until he was really close to them. All that wood smashing must have made a lot of noise.
Always liked watching The Hulk on Friday nights, although he was a mere shadow of himself from the comics.

Yes I understand, simple physics at work I suspect. As the Hulks grows larger the surface of Hulk skin is therefore larger. The water droplets that cover banners skin have now to cover a larger area and therefore evaporate more quickly as they are spread more thinly. Or something like that......

I know you were joking about that due to your laughing face emoji, but technically you are actually right.
Radiation does produce heat, so when Banner transforms into the Hulk he probably does produce some heat due to the fact that the Hulk was created through gamma radiation.
David is always trying to find a cure for his condition. But turning into the hulk has gotten him out of many many jams. Given the frequency in which trouble seems to find him he'd be better off leaving it alone. The hulk never killed anyone.

That little girl at the beach sure had a lot of nerve talking to the Hulk like that when he ruined her sandcastle. If the Hulk had seen any women wearing their swimsuits whether they're 1 piece or a bikini, he would be staring at them really good.

One of the things I liked about hulk was that where violence only made him stronger and more dangerous, a calm and gentle approach was what always brought Bruce Banner back to his senses to where he was able to hold the hulk at bay.
My point is that some people just need a soothing voice, kind heart, a gentle hand and a caring soul to bring the beast within all of us to it's knees to where it can be controlled again. Instead of prescription drugs that only dope it into a dependent conformity like we're doing nowadays.
This my favorite episode of the Hulk.Becsuse this is the episode where Lou ferrigno played himself.

The Hulk is driven by Banner's personality. The Hulk wouldn't Hurt a child because Banner wouldn't do it. This Hulk was a like a child himself. I believe described in the Pilot as a "Primitive. A Childish Sub-Human."

@@jodl73 You're right, he wouldn't. It's just that he's driven by anger and he can react out of anger. I remember when he was enraged by that woman yelling on the phone in another episode. He thought she was threatening him and he retaliated by pulling the phone up out of the ground and throwing it.

The original show was the best they didn't overdo the hulk like more modern ones that looked way to big.
Imagine if in that Universe the Hulk from the comics or movies came out. Those fools could have easily been thrown a few miles into the sea or received one of his thunderclap. McGee would probably give up because of how dangerous he is.
Treu power Hulk could throw them into orbit or the upper atmosphere..but then that would be too scary for ppl to comprehend--after all, who's gonna catch them!

The producers had the opportunity to make a serious big screen motion picture featuring Lou as the Hulk.
They did a few movies here and there. One of them had Thor.

It would've been cool to see a big budget Bixby/Ferrigno Hulk movie around the mid-1980s. Supposedly, there was a plan for a Spiderman/Hulk crossover film with Nicholas Hammond but it never happened.

5:13-6:01 is an homage to the original Frankenstein film because both the Hulk and the child reminded me of Frankenstein’s Monster and Little Maria plying by the lake before Frankenstein’s Monster unintentionally drowned Little Maria
All these wimps got was a toss from the hulk? Although I loved the old series, I always wondered how the bad guys barely got hurt from the hulk. compare that the comics when the hulk would utter destroy anyone in his way.
I always wanted him to hurt the bad guys more, instead of always tossing them around or throwing stuff at them, but they toned alot of it down, because of kids.
I loved The Incredible Hulk ! Cant really say what my favorite episode wss i loved just about all of them except The Married one and the last tv movie. Other then that it was a totally awesome show that had alot of comedy in it too ! 😅😎👍
