Christian Oldenborg Every Knife gets dull over the time. Stuff like "stays sharp forever" doesn't exist.
I'm guilty, too. I bought mine around 20 years ago. They are still as sharp today as when I bought them. I really like the bread knife, it cuts through very crusty bread with no problem.
I bought these for my mom 17 years ago when drunk one night in college. It came with 2 all purpose slicers. I proceeded to cut everything in my apartment in half with it. They really do stay sharp. My mom still has them.
This is a part of my childhood.
We bought a set in 2004. They still rock nearly a decade later, especially the steak knives.
I only just replaced my steak knives. Not sure how old I was when my parent bought them.

It's stolen. Ron popeil did it first. Watch his video I think it was called showtime six star knives. Watch it and pay attention to the words. Its the exact same as here. The bread scene, tomato, filings, it's all the same dialogue stolen. Watch and you'll see.

Often times, less is more, whereas the Showtime knives have 25 pieces, most of the people only use 25% of the kit, this has 11 pieces, the necessary essentials.

Chef Tony could sell ice to me in the middle of a snowstorm. He could sell sand to me in the middle of a desert. He’s that good at what he does.
I half-heartedly purchased this set in 2009. it's now 2020. We use most of them daily and they're unbelievably still in great condition. The only ones that broke after a few years were the steak knives and never really got to use the sharpener. hope when these give in can still find these. see a lot of knock offs being sold online but pretty sure they're not as good as these

It's actually a very good knife set. Except the chop n scoop and rock n chop can be replaced by a standard chefs knife. I still own the slicer, steak knives, and shears. They are still sharp and cut well.
Hey Infomercialman1, I take back all my negative comments about the MB3. I bought a set and they really are incredibly sharp. I am really happy with them.

22 years later and mine are as sharpe as the day i bought them…..
I bought a set in 2004 in one of those "As Seen on TV" stores, and they still work fine to this day. A small spot of rust here and there but that's it. The shears aren't the greatest, but the steak knives get the most use and we love them for cutting pork chops.
My mom actually has the all-purpose slicer. It still holds up, even to this day.
@Infomercialman1 It is a spectacular facility, modern and new, but added on to an old French Castle which is treated as a museum and is also seen in the Open of the show. We shot there the second week of June, 2001. All the students shown were attending the school and studying to be chefs. They came from all over the world. The Opening shot of Tony with the Eiffel Tower in the background was obviously shot in Paris.

Yeah, my set came today and they are scarily sharp. It did cut straight through a pineapple.

Bought these blades in 2008 and they are still chopping.
