It's difficult seeing her knowing what a tender, sweet soul she was and how she died in pain from living in such a violent world. Thanks for the beautiful music Nicolette. RIP

Francesco Avila she didn’t die of an aneurysm. She had liver failure which caused fluid buildup (cerebral edema) in the brain. Very painful death.
@@rapman5363 I think you nailed it. I was always under the impression it was a aneurism that took her life. At any rate, Nicloette was a real gift to all of us, and left us with just as much beauty as she was in real life through not only her beautiful looks, also her singing voice that means so much to all of us who love her so.

What a beautiful woman she was. I will never forget the first time I heard her sing "Lot of Love." When I finally saw a video of the song, she was already gone. But she looked just as I had envisioned. What a loss to us all.
When i was young, I was head over heels for Nicolette singing and looks!! Lm 58 years of age and still got that love!!!

What a ANGEL !!! She was taken from us in 1997 . Died of a cerebral edima. I think I spelled that correct. The cerebral Edima was brought on from complications of liver failure . So sad she was like 44 or 45 yrs old.

I absolutely love this version! I first heard this song in Aden in 1964. My Dad was in the RAF and when he got posted to Aden for two years he could choose to take his family, which he did. It was really great there, me and my brothers and sister had such fun, but there was no TV, so everyone had a really good powerful radio and we listened to it all the time. At that time, because you couldn't phone Britain (unless it was an emergency) people sent requests to the radio stations - I think mostly the BBC - sending love to their families in the forces, and they played all the new songs and hits. Dusty Springfield singing this song was requested all the time and I loved the song, but I think Nicolette sings it even better. She's got a lovely voice.
