Thanks a Lot for the support and share our work on your channel! Ed Garcia here, i cant explain how um happy nowđ thanks a Lot again my friend
Aloha Ed!!! You and the rest of the group are wonderfully talented and look forward to listening/reacting to more of your music! đ€đ€đ€
Youâre a legend Ed! Geebz will be a legend if he does more reactions to your music! đđ€
I love this song man! Perfect!
Love that Ed watches and replies to these videos.
Hi Ed! Thank your for your music!
Vitalism - Pagan 2 the official video would have been neat. You get to see the entire band. Also their video for " Clairvoyance " is highly recommended.
Yeah! I am really hoping fpr the part two. I personally prefer it over this one.
Clairvoyance is sick
The band just released Part 3 of this song today, good timing
Thank you very much for the information! Ill go check it out!
I literally said HOLD ON like 12 times real loud.
I am hyped.
And...it's honestly not as good lol. It's Michael Keene all over again lmao. He needs the band, Ed can't hold it all down himself.
3rd part is not that good... Sadly...
Don't listen, band or no part III is utter delicious annihilation.
Pagan part 2 is a masterpiece
I like pt 1 more because of the acoustic sections, they have a lot of feeling
VITALISM JUST DROPPED PAGAN PART THREE WITHIN THE HOUR THAT THIS VIDEO WAS UPLOADED WTF
Thanks! Crazy I know
Vitalism is only one person now which is a shame. You can tell the mixing in this album is absolutely terrible and it's just not the same anymore. Which is sad because I absolutely loved them.
@@manuinjapan No more lucas? What happened?
@@doomburger8433 all the other 4 members are in odeon sounds now. Apparently Ed kicked everyone out because he didn't pay them royalties and they got pissed. No shit lol
@@manuinjapan Pagan III has a good mix/master for me.
This song was ahead of its time. When this song came out, I remember the first time I head it, I was blown away.
O PAI TĂ ON BRAZUCA
My guy needs to check out The Human Abstract.
Archspire would be really interesting to see
Drive Home - Steven Wilson. Please
Wow was not expecting Vitalism, very awesome choice.
I'm digging the camo. Arch Echo would be a great fit for tomorrow đ
I second this!
i support this
Yes definitely
Mate, the amount of times you said my name at the start was awesome. cheers for the shout out! đ
The guitarrist (Mosca), the drummer (Marvin) and the bassist (Marcelo) have other band called Odeon, is a INSANE awesome band, you should check out
Morphine and Swipe Up are my favorite tracks
How did I miss this!?!? Holy.. FINALLY!
Did you pick this on purpose? They just released part 3. Do their whole trilogy! Favorite band
nice reaction!!! Vitalism is so good!!! you should react to Yami Oba by them...Or Pagan PT. 2
Thank you for saying what I struggle to about this band with people when they ask who I look up to as a guitarist.
I love watching your reaction videos because of your knowledge and appreciation for music. Iâm a guitarist and have been playing for over 20 years, I like how you give insight on some many aspects of the composition. I watch your videos and Elizabethâs from The Clairvoyant Voice because I like listening to you both talk. Itâs almost like youâre an old friend that just doing a video chat. CZcams needs to get your channel monetized you deserve it.
Geebz! Good evening, sir! I was in the mood for this, i guess because i really dig it. I want some of what the drummer is taking to rip those fillers. Jeez! This is insane. Hittin me with the đȘČfart again... lol
9:22 âbeetle fart zoneâ đđ€Łđđ
Proudly Beetle Fart Gang
Another song by these guys that I'd highly recommend you giving a listen to is "YamĂ Obi" off of their EP, "Sy"
Great choice! Pagan pt2 is amazing and yami obi is a great jazz infused somg as well to check out. Yami obi is very jazz infused and unique
he finally made it to vitalism !!
Man you went throught so much your ears might not even believe their ears ^^!
Every Time I Die - Map Changes... or anything they've ever done ever. Definitely worth some attention.
We'rewolf
"the new black" or "wanderlust" too, love this band
Yess! Love both of those!
(I was kinda scared to put NEW BLACK cause it's like their obvious hit thanks to the Guitar Hero games but glad you put it out here đ)
Oh I had no idea about Guitar Hero, it's just such a good track, not surprised!
@@SilviaAfurisita yeah I like it! Fun riff to play too!
ALOHA Geebz. Dude this is a dope song. WOW
YESSS you finally did Vitalism I love these guys.
Hell yes Iâve been requesting them! Ed Garcia is amazing đž
Just started watching your vids and I wanted to suggest pagan pt 2. Glad youâre already on top of this band!
Cant wait for the Vitalism PAGAN part 2
unbelievably great piece!
Our pride!
Brazilian talent !
Rio de Janeiro- Brazil
Kamelot - Memento Mori
Dream Theater - Space Dye Vest
fyi one of them is using John Petrucci's signature guitar, you can see the Dream Theater 'Majesty' symbol at the top of the fretboard.
Space Dye Vest is one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard.
in they sequence - pagan pt.2 they do have bass player. they have they group split up in sequence, but still kicking ass.
Thanks for support viltalism and Brazil.
Wonderfull
would love to hear your reaction to JIMMY EAT WORLD - SWEETNESS
sonzera brazuca... muito phoda!!!
Dude Iâve been asking for Vitalism for months now it feels like!!!!! Shoot youâve only been around for months but it feels much longer. Heck ya! Keep up the good works! Aloha!!!!!! Now time for pagan Pt.2!!! Lol EDIT: they do have a bass player. Heâs sick of course. Maybe because this is a guitar play through but maybe they didnât have one on their earlier Stuff. A Hoosier listening to an Hawaiian dissect a Brazilian djent band! I love music and how it brings the world together in a way we never thought it would. Thank you for this!!!!
Yea, I thought about the bass in the mix and came up with the notion that you did. Perhaps because it was a playthrough mix the guitars got a bit more beef in the mix. GOOD EARS DUDE! :)
@@KeyOfGeebz I also just read that they lost their bass player for a while then got him back but this is their first album so I think they had him on this one so maybe it was the mix. Again thank you sir. Aloha!!! .... I just learned they dropped pagan 3 a few minutes ago. Wild
I first came across this band a couple years ago and have been telling people about them ever since. Some interesting changes and modulations in all of their songs. Oh and I thought they are from Brazil.
These dudes are rad!
Sweet! Another one I been waiting to see get played. Awwwright! Hope you revisit them soon. Clairvoyance is another great song of theirs
Love seing you decipher those kind of songs. You should try to watch some Reflections guitar playthroughs, I think you might like those
OMG YES MY FAVORITE BAND
Absolutely love this track and this EP! As far as the bass goes, in most metal the bass is used more to fill out the mix than to be an audible instrument. The low frequencies just being used to thicken up the guitar tracks and they are usually in unison except an octave down. I believe the did have a bassist for awhile, though.
Aviations - Outliers (Retrospect) đ€
I know it's probably been suggested to death at this point, but I was just listening to it again and 'New Day' by Karnivool is an absolute must for you to do on your channel dude, if it doesn't elicit a chicken skin response I will buy you 10 coffees, đ€đ€đ€
Love your channel, do a few ichika nito jams, as theyâre typically pretty short
Got to check out earthless or tide by humanityâs last breath. Iâm dying to see a breakdown of it! The mix, composition, and everything about it will be incredibly interesting to hear your take. Cheers!
This is my 2nd favorite Vitalism track...just freaking amazing. Check out Bipolarity too!!! Thatâs tops for me đđŒ
Love your work. How about Trivium. I suggest Sickness Unto You. Or pretty much any Trivium with Alex Bent on drums.
Sweet, now do Pagan Part II!!!
Aloha! Another day in Paradise Bra
Oh and speaking of Australia, check out "Coming For You" by Twelve Foot Ninja. Great players who mix numerous genres but with vocals.
omg i adore u. i just found your channel from the knife prty video! i'm a diehard deftones fan. have you considered doing a reaction for a drum and bass song? i don't really listen to drum and bass, but there's these incredible guys called 'Noisia' and i think it could be really interesting. they're really, really skilled with their production. i would recommend 'Shellshock'. idk, bit of a reach but yeah! i'd be curious to see what you think :)
Yes! Noisia! Maybe "Dustup", "Stigma" or something similar
I would really dig your thoughts on Jon Hopkins - Vessel. Classically trained electronic artist with a focus on texture. Love the juxtapositions and the spaces he creates. Makes the complicated sound simple. Check it out! Much love
Nice
Pagan part 2 is amazing and I just listened to part 3 they are all great
Crazy guitars reminds me of a much amplified Rodrigo y Gabriela!! đ€đ»
Welcome to the Brazilian metal dude hahahahah. Sadly they split recently, Ed Garcia, the lead guitarist and owner of Vitalism is trying to assemble new musicians but we don't know what is gonna happen...
Brazil !! :)
Oh my virgin ears. I have never heard this type of music in my life, and yet it reminds me of Mozart's Sonata for 2 Pianos in D major. Back in my college days this was our Adderall! đ
czcams.com/video/3T_k45gMQUw/video.html
You should listen to their song Favela. The way they mix metal with samba is really neat.
The face reactions đđ
Gotta Gotta gotta check these out. Or at least one of them!
Emperor - Depraved
Or
The eruption
Or
The prophet
Should definitely check out Biffy Clyro, super unique sound. "A Whole Child Ago" has some of the most intricate drums I've ever heard.
Still DYING to see The Brain Dance
You should have reacted to Pagan Pt.2. Great song. Even more progressive than this one. I'm looking forward to that react. Love the channel
You really need to check out either Battlefield or And Then There Was Silence by Blind Guardian. Its one of the most epic and well orchestrated metal you will ever hear. Silence is around 14 mins long and is an epic about the Trojan War. Battlefield is a bit shorter, but no less grandiose.
The start of the song sounds like the Portuguese traditional music, called Fado. I would recommend you checking it out, it's absolutely gorgeous.
oo thatâs cool, theyâre from brazil so that makes sense lol
Nice! Would love to hear some thoughts on some deceivingly "simpler" stuff.
Vildhjarta - The Lone Deranger / All These Feelings
Finally!
Grebe, I definitely understand that you are inundated with requests to check out this, that and the other band for x-ever genre. I GET IT! But youâre missing awesome stuff that I think you are uniquely able to do blind reviews of that have yet to be done on this channel, songs that have been requested. Not just by me but others as well.
PLEASE CONSIDER:
Gorguts -Obscura
Itâs a short song and Iâd love to hear your take on it...
unExpect - literally any track off of their album â In a Flesh Aquariumâ
Billy Bragg & Wilco - Literally any track off of Mermaid Avenue Vols. 1-3
This is just off the top my head, Iâve got thousands of others (as does everyone else here lol). Please give it a consideration.
Thanks for your work!!!
Check out Superhero Jugganath by Diablo Swing Orchestra!
Or Upon Fallen Autumn Leaves by HAGGARD. If you liked Epica, you'll really like these guys.
Both are amazing and offer a very unique mash of styles.
When I saw you react to polyphia I wanted you to check these guys out so bad. Favorites from them are "pagan part 2" and bipolarity
this was a cool listen, I like the spanish sections, although it's just falling short in composition for me to become a playlist song, if they can keep refining their composition skills they could be quite something.
Hey Geebz, in one of your last videos you mentioned a homepage, where you have some sort of a playlist with the next tracks you will be doing. I've been looking for this site, but unfortunately I'm not smart enough to find it, so I wanted to ask you kindly if you could tell me the adress of that site? :D
I always thought the pronunciation was "VITAL-ISM", and I remember liking these guys with every rralesse... very talented!! Please decompose Means End "Magnanimous"!!
â€â€â€
MACROCOSM by Rings of Saturn! A wild instrumental metal song with insane musicians
Yo you did a pagan video! Omg. Watching liking.
Thank you! Bless you and everyone! I only listen to metal and I love your take on songs. We need more of you. Have you done snuff by slipknot?
You should listen to âmr knowitallâ and âfrizzle fryâ - both from primus and both from the album frizzle fry
Check out Omnific from Australia. Two bassists and a drummer but amazing musicianship.
Pantera - Floods
Please please please!
Check out the second part of this song!
Please more Protest The Hero!!
Okay Iâve been holding back these suggestions but since weâre on this vibe I think itâs time. Please react to the band Unprocessed, 2 song recommendations: Malleable, or, Deadrose. Or both! Great reaction as always.. many blessings.
Mmmmmmmmmm............
Manuel is my mans tho
I recommend you the song "A Distant (Dark) Source (Part I, II and III)" from the band "Hypno5e" from Pelagic Records (Label founded by The Ocean). Their Cinematographic Metal is absolutely phenomenal !
Damn i haven't heard these guys until now. Reminds me of Within the Ruins.
and Pagan part 2 is even better!!!!
Pagan Pt 2 is my favorite
Jason richardson Chapter 2 is very cinematic and has a lot of orchestral parts that you would love
More Vitalism please
AQUI Ă BRASIL
Acacia Strain - Doomblade
It'd be interesting to see you do a song by Echopraxia
Wish you would do a reaction video to Norwegian black metal band Dimmu Borgir playing "Progenies of the great apocalypse" (LIVE - FORCES OF THE NORTHERN NIGHT). Would love your take on that live performance! :)
Do Pagan pt.2 Next!
I'm hearing a heavy Rings of Saturn influence and David Chastain.
This band never quite did it for me but I know people are gonna be pretty happy about this one cause I've been seeing them requested for months now.
