A ruptured spleen, all his ribs were broken, and he had damage to his kidneys where by he was on kidney dialysis a few times a week until his death in 1982. Kidney Dialysis treatments make a person very tired or fatigued. He was a great tenor by any measure and dedicated his life to the art form. R.I.P.
