I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in June. Before that, I went to a chiropractor to help ease lower back pain before I ever knew what was wrong with me. It was terrible and painful. I went to my doctor who ordered a bone scan and diagnosed osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. I’m now on Prolia and doing physical therapy. I’m 69 and trying to move as much as I can and I do feel better. My doctor was not happy that the chiropractor didn’t send me for an x ray before he put hands on me. I have learned a lot. Physical therapy has been the key for me.

This is wonderful to hear. I have osteoporosis and see a chiropractor monthly. My treatments are gentle, and I always feel better and feel more mobile. Thank you Margaret ❤️

I've been waiting for you to interview him! His book has made all the difference (for the good) in my relationship with my doctor and how to navigate all the blood tests, drugs, supplements.

I really enjoy your interviews with Dr. McCormick. I bought the Great Bones book but it is way above my head. Is it possible for you to have Dr. McCormick on to talk about diet?
By the way, it was through sustaining a rib fracture during chiropractic manipulation that I learned I have osteoporosis. It sounds very common. I now see a chiropractor that uses active release technique. Thank you for your videos.

What's that saying... "Motion is the lotion." It's so important to stay active & strong. Move around 😊

and it depends on who the Chiropractor is. It a a trust issue. I have Osteopenia with the mild fractures as I just wrote. soft tissue sound good as well. Wish I knew a Chiropractor here in Hawaii that I can trust

Always get referrals from other patients, not from doctors. Just my opinion, but I’ve had chiropractic care for many years.

Very interesting. I have osteoporosis. I’m trying to understand the limitations I’m 65th s old 5’8” tall. Whole food plant based diet, no alcohol. No refined sugar, no or little processed foods that includes very little if ever bread or pasta. None or little oil. I do Pilates everyday and feel fantastic. I do barre classes and am very flexible The idea that I could bend over and snap something is freaky. Dr suggests prolia drug. I’m resistant to all drugs. Does anyone have an opinion on drugs?
I lowered my cholesterol w the diet to avoid statin drugs but can’t build bone at 65 or can I? Anyone know about the new test , not the dexascan, to measure bone strength. I heard tall and lean bodies can appear w lower bone density than is true. Wouldn’t that be nice. Good health to everyone. Peace and love.
