An unmarked letter arrives at the hideaway containing a request most curious: the Dominant of Leviathan, long lost Eikon of Water, is in need of rescue.
To heed this call, Clive and his companions must journey to Mysidia-a hidden land under a blue sky-where they will uncover the tragic history of a forgotten people.
Purchase The Rising Tide separately or bundled with our first DLC, Echoes of the Fallen, in the discounted Expansion Pass. The FINAL FANTASY XVI base game is required to play both DLCs.

I thought he would grow a serpent tail every time he uses the Water Eikonic Feats aka Leviathan's powers, but having the Eikon's head is surprisingly work as well
is anyone else not able to pre-order this DLC? i have ff16 and echoes, but this isn't an option for purchase yet from what i can tell?
I can’t wait to see what the optional boss is… also they said they wouldn’t change the ending but they can hopefully expand on it.
Apparently theres a confirmed epilogue sidequest that happens after the main game credits

Apparently you need to reach the boat main base portion of the game.

@@1r0zz new solutions about camera(back shoulder), balance , of course…No so easy, but base ideas more than interesting. I mean Neo mitochondria energy with classic shooting, RPG system, more puzzles and key items- it’s was good union

I dont have the space to re install FF16. I got that 140gig ff7 rebirth taking all the ps5 space.
Get a 2 or at least 1TB SSD Upgrade and you're good to go. Can definitely recommend the WD Black SN850
I have a 1TB internal drive and am able to fit FF16,FF7 Remake and Rebirth, Infinite Wealth, Battlefront 2 and other games so its possible

Hahah, yeah. Well, the game’s not that difficult so I think it won’t be hard getting back in and surviving - but I sure won’t pull off all my combos and parries as neatly as I did in my “prime” half a year ago, lol.

For some reason whether they will finally clarify that Typhon is an Eikon has become my sole focus of this game‘s lore.
Hey buddy, it's not really an Eikon. The Ultimania book gave us some details, it's a potential mythos/vessel (like Clive) from the past but too incomplete for Ultima. Clive is the first vessel to be *this* perfect and who can absorb all Eikons so we can assume Typhon was not like this. In my language (french) and some others, he is not called Typhon but Typhos (maybe like a parallel to Mythos). Also, we can assume that explains why Ultima said "oh, you can already defeat Typhon" before the timeskip. Clive already surpassed the previous vessel while only having the power of 3 eikons.

I wish the opposite, hah. Even though I really liked Remake’s combat before XVI, after XVI I just couldn’t get back into it in Rebirth. There’s just something about that perfect pace, animations and fluidity of XVI’s combat that just keeps me craving for it again and again.

also im glad it's not that big while a good spectacle Titan lost had some parts that just didn't feel right due to its size and Leviathan should still be like 150+ meters xd that's pretty big plus the water will add even more scale
