I’ve been building up my 2000 ccsb v10 super turd. Best upgrade for ride quality was a full traction front coil over conversion with a pair of longer 2014 carli progressive deaver springs with pmf front mounts. It’s just plush now

looks amazing, but expedition one takes nearly a year to ship a bumper for us non youtubers LOL, I just canceled my order after 6 months, worst lead times in the industry
Believe it or not, I too had to wait for my bumpers almost a year. Our year 'sponsorship' was actually over by the time we got just the front bumper. But we prefer their eye for design, quality, and willingness to make a bumper most wouldn't even if we had asked. Since we are now R&Ding the bumpers on the truck, we've really gotten to know the ExpeditionOne family. Please know the long wait times are due to hands on craftsmanship and demand. Your bumper isn't just shipped off to be made by machines or out sourced to whoever will do it the fastest and cheapest. It's all in house. Other than when its literally walked over to be powder coated. Also know, that they don't know what down time is. They are working their butts off and celebrating every order. I understand the frustration though, but I also appreciate the time it takes to control quality and make a good looking functional bumper.

The s&b works great until it doesn’t. My sucker fan died and it allowed the filter to clog completely. IMO it needs a different way to eject the dirt and dust. I switched back to open air s&b and keep a spare cleanable in the barn.
Had the same issue and switched to the cold air intake as well. Absolutely loved the dirt particle separator and may give it another shot in the future.

No clue, but engine temp is basically the same as before 🤷♂️
We use our pro Eagle Jack to get it most of the way, but the easiest is a two person lift

I got Questions cause I am also in Florida and I wondered how practical is it as a city truck obviously off-road is as I see is it very good but what about on road example turning and driving in the city it would be nice to see a video about daily driving in the truck especially in the normal road conditions and how hard to maintain it in the lane In turns and stuff since it’s not only long but very wide and I asking cause I always wanted a ram 2500 aev in my own build cause it was large but not too large that driving would be a pain like driving through a drive in to Macdonald until I saw your build and now I am torn between them I’ll probably keep the ram cause the interior is way better until ford makes a new better interior and last question how hard is it to maintain such a massive truck especially one that’s is very well built??
I guess it would depend on the city. Even stock we were a bit big for Miami, but Tampa and Orlando seemed to have plenty of space. The 450 with the wide track front end (45 degree steering angle) makes a u turn better than a 250/350 CCSB. Most drive-thrus are not dually friendly, but it usually just means riding a curb a little lol. With the size of our tires the curbs don’t get to our rims though. The AEVs are beautiful and the only RAM I would ever own. If you’re looking for a mostly built truck off a lot I would recommend it, but if you want to build your own go Ford. The 450 definitely has more maintenance than a standard 250/350 as it as more serviceable joints than the lifetime ones on the 250/350s.
in regards to your bumper, how does the back up camera work when the tire and the fuel cans are mounted on? are you able to see?
Our backup camera is relocated to the license plate area. It works great

I have a 2020 f350 dually and i love it and would love to do something similar but I am struggling with the super rough ride specially when not hauling anything… what kind of suspension upgrades can you recommend without using air bags…? Tnx
We run Carli suspension and love it! I recommend giving CJC Off road a call, they are experts in selling suspension plus finding the best options in suspension. Or give Justin at Accutune a call for non-Carli shocks.

I mean I’m not a lawyer or anything… but it will probably depend on the service manager as it’s essentially just wheels and tires.

No, 450s don’t come with TPMS

It was good, the mattress was excellent. We recently switched to the EeziAwn Blade and like the quality of that one a bit more

i heard you mention you got 55k out of the 1st set of G275's , you rotate them every 5k-10k . When you rotate them , do you have them rebalanced each time ? thank you for your help !
Our first set of tires we ran balance beads (don’t recommend), then we tan no balancing for awhile, we are now running Centramatics and they are working well

I will need new tires because i never rotated and now they are cupped. understanding rotating @ 5k is key and easier if the centramatics do their job ! hope to catch ya out there somewhere ~peace~

Whats the point in doing a review on the truck when its carrying what you could put on a prius? The only actual reason to gave that beefy of a truck is to haul a heavy payload. Put a huge truck camper in it, at full GVWR, 18k lb or so, drive through baja for 10k miles, then review it. this tells me nothing useful.
Been there, done that lol. Started out with a truck camper on the truck, now tow a Black Series HQ17 off road with dirt bikes in the bed and the full overland build out. We off road with a maxed out GVWR of 14k lbs bud…
