Nahko was instrumental in unlocking a spiritual path in my early adulthood. My childhood was seared with severe abuse, neglect, trauma, and abandonment. My means of survival was leaning into depression and apathy to normalize it. It became my identity and the only language I could understand. I was incapable of allowing myself to experience any of the beauty the world had to offer. I could acknowledge it’s existence, but I was subconsciously locked out from it having an effect on me. My scar tissue had built up thick calluses. Nahko’s willingness to address the dark along with the light throughout the human experience, and highlighting forgiveness for others and yourself after making mistakes, was a conduit in me allowing myself to be vulnerable enough to be open to my healing journey. I will forever be grateful for this human. His imperfection is what some needed to be able to listen. We have this thing in our society where we want to make an example of someone we feel betrayed by. The good he has done deserves a loving conversation about discussing mistakes he may have made along the way. Salting the earth with a person who wants to change, poisons the well of an entire community. Love you brother!

I DID NOT CANCEL MY BROTHER! I DID NONE OF THIS! I love you my equally flawed brother… pretty sure those who chose to cancel, probably need to clean up their own backyards!

I’m 50. Nahko was a huge part of my personal awakening. I am grateful for this human. His music found me during a time of grieving for my mother. His talent and music has been my go to when I need to re-up in this game called life. His vibe is tuned in, turned on and blasting love. Thank you Nahko Bear 🤍🙏

This interview would have been more connecting to me if Nakho had expressed more grief about how he treated women - consensually or not - and how he’s struggled to find a way to live in his sacred masculine. Also, if he had owned the inequality in the power dynamic with his lover fans, with him as a celebrity. I appreciate that Nahko’s been doing and is still doing a lot of inner work. I hear and see that his Heart is still guarded. His music - and ability to fully live his life’s purpose - will grow when he’s able to share this grief… because it’s something the whole world shares and needs to heal from. It feels more honest to my soul.. and his karma.

I loved Nahko. I still love Nahko but I also heard the in depth stories of women who came forward, and some stories from people he worked around. I think he had a lot of demons and alcohol did not help. His music was so inspirational. He touched so many hearts. I truly hope he's doing much better. Continues moving upward. He should not be blaming all of these women because he did harm too. Not the only musician whose behaviors are similar. It's just that he was a spiritual leader too. I'm.glad he tried to understand. I hope all connected continue to heal and he gets back to helping others and stays away from alcohol. Good luck to you Nahko. Keep moving forward. I love you and you got this if you ever come across this response. Just big life lessons.

Nahko music helped me to get out from the most toxic relationship of my life. He makes a powerful songs, they ARE able to heal because he puts his energy and heart into it. If he wants to date woman... that is part of our culture as natives, we do not see sex as negative and we do not do monogamy that is not even traditional. Its very hard to know that he was canceled and there are no charges, so what does it mean, right? Take the little bear back because we dearly need it, yes we do! Love you, Nah!

The Will To Change, Nahko is an amazing poet, lyricist, musician. No one should ever be treated that way, ever. We are all humans, we all make mistakes. We should all be blessed with his path of his Will To Change.

Thank you Frank, for giving Nahko this space! As a fan since 2009-10ish(ok, guessing here! I remember finding a video online if him at a festival, with his guitar. There was no band, just this kid wandering.) Finally I saw him with Hope and Dustin, in Akron/Canton Ohio, at this teeny tiny community building on the "bad" side of town with my whole fam, It was amazing and intimate, maybe 45-50 fans. Wild times! I was shocked at his cancelation. As a consumer of his music for soooo long and seeing him live many times....I was definitely made to feel I had to "choose" a side when "stories" came out about him. Fortunately, I digged deeper into the stories rather than towing the pop fad line. I came to my own conclusions. I had the "audacity" to use my freedom to make up my own mind on how I felt. Amazing how upset this can make some people! I admit, that yes, Nahkos ego went through many changes in all those yrs, but whose wouldnt, when in his position? Its soooo good to see his growth as a human, a man, and now a father. I see you Nahko. ❤ Much love going out to both Frank and Nahko! Thank you both for being yourselves! Nahko has many in the Ohio Pyro tribe that misses him!

I am a witness. And a student. I seen what you did to people, and it was beautiful. People you never met moved to the lessons you spoke. And you were always telling this story nahko. Hurts deeply that i can see it on your face, and my own.
