This brought me flashbacks to when I taught at Los Angeles public schools. It was awful having to deal with this behavior every day.
Facts. I subbed at Pittsburgh public schools for a while and those teachers were BURNED OUT. Like all the way out. Kids were talking to them any kind of way and no one cared anymore lol
i went to a los angeles public high school and there was one class where the teacher was a complete pushover to the point where we were smoking cigarettes in class and he didn't do anything. there was a fight one time and one of my friends was standing on the desk all cheering and he hit his head on a light and actually got a pretty nasty cut. the best class i've ever been in. actually now that i think about it, i was never enrolled in the class, we just hung out there because the teacher was so wth.
