Level 5 : HUBBLE TELESCOPE
Level 6: JAMES WEBB TELESCOPE
Level 7: 3D photo sent by the Betazoids.
Level 5: dedicated astrophotography camera... - _-
Level 8: going there
Level 6: Personal observatory
JWST is level 0, as it is very hard to make a good picture from a windowless building on Earth...
Brilliant.
Thanks Trevor!
I just told him to call you... LOL!
Wow just got off your Orion Nebula video and this was recomended
Wow
@Oficinas centrales de Codigos Porcentuales podrías usar deepsky camera :9
Heck Nico the cinematography was insane in this!!
Thanks! Definitely an interest of mine, and a fun change of pace to make this one.
Yeah he is killing it, just amazing!
4 levels of making me feel bad about my astrophotography XD
4 levels of emptying my bank account
@Salim Prado Cconislla Hola!
Not even going to bother with reaching level 1. I'll just live vicariously and let more talented people than me do the grunt work, I'll just sit back and enjoy the ride, keep up the good work. Really like your work.
Give it a try dude!!
this is my attitude lol
Ok man, you got that 80s thing going on. One of your best yet. The synth backing track is too cool. You certainly upped your game.
does he not resemble Lars Ulrich a bit?
@@Splitbrains plays drums better i bet.
Awesome video Nico!! This was put together really well and I love that it shows all the different perspectives perfectly, there’s something for everyone!
That's absolutely brilliant. It's wonderful how far you've come as a photographer and an advocate for astrophotography.
I love the fact that every time I post a new video, this amazing channel just comes right up.
The beauty of M42 is that even the beginner with minimal equipment can get a pleasing result, which really serves as an inspiration to strive for those next levels.
The most underrated astrophotography channel ever.... Good work... Keep goin🔥
That's some high quality content right there. Really looking forward to taking my first deep space pictures in the near future and when I do, just know you're the one who inspired me to do it :). Because you're the one who showed me that it's possible with the stuff I already own.
Lovely video which shows the progression! I'm at a level 3.5 right now (Star Adventurer with guide camera, Redcat 51 and DSLR).
This was awesome, hope to see more of these with andromeda, Pleiades, and more deep sky objects!
you gotta do more of these they are super inspiring.
I'm a real newbie.
Loving your videos.
I can't wait to see these things in the sky with my first telescope.
Back ordered for a month.
Gives me time to learn the sky and save up for all the extra stuff you need to get to level 4.
I wish I wasn't so into cool toys.
Nice Nico! I love level 3, easy, fast and awesome results on the right bortle sky. The key as I been finding out, is post processing so important!
Clear skies!
I'm trying to do as much as I can with just a LG V50 and a tripod. 50x 20 sec exposures (using 500 rule), dark, flat, and bias frames. After going through DeepSkyStacker and Photoshop, the images come out quite well.
Awesome! Glad to hear it.
Definitely my favorite astrophotography video!
nice, I'm currently at level 3, I loved this short, it's a nice progress chart.
Love your videos Nico i just started astrophotography during lockdown captured Orion nebula last month keep up the great work
Got into the hobby recently and I'm already hooked. Looking at getting to level 3 soon
You are rich at. Can i have some money to get to level 1? XD
@@TobiasDettinger Ikr I’m only able to take pictures through my extremely bad iPad camera, and it takes 15 minutes just to hold it correctly.
@@tykingcrystal864 i think the right equipment is Necessary. A tripod with a go to motor is a must
A huge part of astrophotography has to do with it's investment. But again, it's not just the car, the driver matters too.
Woooow that was so good! Fantastic videography and editing!
Thanks @Galactic Hunter! You guys set a high bar with the full episodes full of creative filmmaking. 😀
your level 4 is probly the best iv ever seen, thanks for the comparison, think ill keep trying.
Im from italy, and there are so many good astrophotographers on the web with their beautiful tutorials.
But this guy is simply the best.
Wow. Loved the comparison. And absolutely loved the cinematography. Awesome! Very nicely edited as well. Just wow!
Level 5 = level 4 + managing frustration per all nuances and each variable (seeing, guiding, gear limitations, user’s ocd). But when the stars align (pun intended) it’s well worth it! Few hobbies have such delayed gratification and what I love about AP. Keep up the awesome work Nico!
Looks really good. Like a commercial or trailer. Very impressed
Thanks for your hard work Nico, I don’t understand that anyone could dislike this vid. Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks for this advice. Will surely imply it!👏🏻
Yooo, everything about this video is top notch 😍😍😍😍😍
Simply it was just perfect
Great work😍😍💕
Brilliant Nico, you are an inspiration to beginners like myself.
The best yet. Just what I needed to know and see!
@Nico - you won the internet for today with this one!
I feel like level 5 would be shooting it in mono. Through tutorials from you and Trevor at AstroBackyard I feel like I have been able to jump up to level 4 fairly quickly. Love the hobby and the fact that it is a lifelong thing.
Amazing! I keep coming back to this for motivation 💪🏽🤩
Man oh man, what a great quick video. I currently at level 2, hopefully i could get a tracker in the future
Another great vid Nico and a great idea to easily and interestingly explain basic workflow practices. Keep it up :)
Woahhh.... amazing video Nico
I can see myself at level 3 , and the pic I got is quite similar to that!!!
One of your most creative videos yet.
Absolutely loved the editing. Good job!
Such a cool vid. I'm ok with Level 3 for now thanks to its portability for out in dark sky sites.
Ok. That was fantastic!!!
Still working on Level 1 here! Nice video and comparison.
Awesome!! Love it!
Love the 80's vibe in this 😁
🤩 thanks for the beautiful video! Now to throw a penny in a wishing well and pray for a level 4 setup.
Awesome clip!!! Really interesting to watch the real difference with gear level.
This actually gives an amateur astrophotographer or someone who is interested in astrophotography a clear sense of reality..what to expect from which gear..
Moving on to level three with my mini track LX-3, hope I can get some clear skies soon, but I don't mind the heavy snowfall either. I guess you can't have it all :)
Very nice video though, keep up the great work
Can you please do a video on a Barn-door tracker? Your in-depth approach to the subject would really help so much of the audience in advancing from level 2 to 3 without spending what amounts to a fortune for so many of us..
This is on my shortlist. Should be out sometime in the next few months.
Nailed it Nico !!!
Okay, I came to comment about your video quailty but see so many others already have. Thanks for the awesome video!
Since incredible production value on this video. Love it. Keep it up!
Fantastic work!!
This was amazing
What a beautiful video!!!
Imagine seeing the Orion nebula from the other side, I'm curious how it would look.
Thinking outside of the box. That's level million. Need a starship, though.
You can see it in “Space Engine” a universe simulator.
WOW, just WOW.
Amazing, I have the Orion tattoo in the same spot and style you have Cygnus and Auriga
A+++ grade! Well done!!
Genius level.
Outstanding. One more time I love the quality and content.
Thanks Patrick!
Wow you hit it out the park with this one. Nice work. Level 5 - 11 inch big scopes. Nice work my friend.
Congrats on hitting over 50k!
Great groove and rhythm to this video!
What a great video! Love it, and thanks for sharing😎
Nicely done! Excellent!
Thanks for sharing this excellent little video and great images too! Your so good at this and keep it up!
Absolute awesomely made video! Loved it!
Wow this was awesome
brutal!!, amazing video
Wow you have made it so nice Nico
aweesome video nico!
I didn't knew a cellphone and a telescope could get that much of a detail of the orion nebula, I have to try this next time!
Nice video!
If you're in a dark sky, yes. It would work well.
Wow fantastic!
Sick shots!
Cool video and great ideas!
The sound quality on this one was crisp as hell
The kind of images you can take with this kind of equipment is unbelievable
I love it. I live in a light polluted city and with a canon powershot i only get a 0.8 level.
Beautiful video ! Love the folly sounds btw 👌
Awesome I wish to take lvl 3 photos so cool
Fantastic, I started with the same little newton, then went straight to level 4;) with a bit more frustration than you can see here:p but this is a very cool video!
This is a masterpiece
Very very cool !
Thank you for sharing your Knowledge. Nice filmmaking too
I take first photos on milky way on October. I only use my tripod, Sony a6600 and Sigma 30mm. Now I'm waiting my sky-watcher star adventurer 2i pro will arrives. I hope it will come this week.
The cinematography is lit 🔥🔥
Woah! Amazing!
Ooooooooooo, how great !!
Thank you very much, I am learning from your channel! I tried the second option completely, now I want to go to the third one - I need to buy an astrotracker with an equatorial wedge =)
I will do the same! Thank you!
That was insanely good 🔥🔥🔥
Real nice. I will show this all who question what this new crazy hobby of mine is. I aspire to be level 2 for starters.
Nicely done Nico. I am level 4 in terms of equipment, but not yet in terms of the quality of the image. However, it is still nice to realize that I am highest level of something. Thanks for the video.
Amazing.. Thanks
Awesome as always. Thanks ;-)
Sweet video man. Level 3 here 🖐️, hopefully upgrading to a lv. 4 soon.
Looks like I will be at level 3 in a few days when my sky Watcher star Adventurer 2i pro pack/ skywatcher tripod to match.!!! I bought a house in a bortle class for sky!!!! I have been out there on level 2 and have gotten some of the best shots to date of Orion untracked. It's going to be an adventure when that camera start tracker comes in the mail too sure. Clear skies and congratulations on your 50k subscribers I am a big fan and student of your work.
Insane!!!!!
Superb work
You agree insane❤️
