It's so easy to argue Fury won 7 rounds. One sloppy mistake at the end of round 8 has enabled everyone to talk absolute nonsense. @@JamieFromLancsUsyk clearly won 1 through 3. Fury clearly won round 4 through 8. Fury was quite dominant in those rounds, but he did not win this fight. Fury gave up the first 3 rounds and Usyk nearly swept the last 4 save the 12th if you'd like, plus the 10/8 in the 9th.

@G35149 I had Usyk winning the first 3, Fury the next 3 and 7 was close so could have went either way but 8 was definitely a Usyk round. So it may have been 4-4 after 8 rounds but Usyk dominated 9,10 and 11 and then 12 was closer but Usyk landed more.
Add in the knockdown and the ref pretty much giving Fury every chance to continue in the 9th it was a clear win to Usyk in the end 🥊👍🏼

@M-yz3mm I did. 7-5 Usyk, no matter how you twist it. I had it 7-5 Usyk watching it live and 8-4 Usyk, upon the re-watch. The first 3 to Usyk clearly. 4 through 8 to Fury clearly, until the end of 8 when Furys nose was shattered. Round 9 (10/8) possibly (10/7)= 5-4 Usyk at the very least. Rounds 10 and 11 Usyk, clearly. Round 12 swing.

NO, Usyk won by 1 rounds, 114-113. The Judge who scored it 115-112 gave round 4 for Usyk, but that was a clear cut round for Fury, so by correcting that round, his score would (and SHOULD) have been 114-113 Usyk. Likewise, the Judge who had it 114-113 for Fury wrongly scored the 11th for Fury (clear cut round for Usyk). Correct his score, and you get 114-113 for Usyk also.

Why do human beings have such a big ego, that we cannot accept we made a wrong prediction? It's laughable! Usyk won it fair and square. And if anyone should be complaining, it should be Usyk, for the refs interference in round 9. It should have been a knock out victory for Usyk.

I’m not surprised by the bias shown by a lot of these pundits, but I’m quite surprised that Woodhall is one of them. Today we have a new Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World, a phenomenal 2-weight Undisputed Champ who remains undefeated…. and still, all they want to talk about is Fury. But since his name came up, there is nothing he can do in the rematch that he wouldn’t have done in the first flight, if he’d been able to.
Richie always talks a lot of sense, and is always fair and pretty accurate with his scorging of fights. Richie had it 114-114, and I had it 114-113 for Usyk.
Why would Usyk go for a rematch? He almost got robbed this time and it was a clear cut win. Watch the fight again and see how clean the punches were from Usyk. Fury punches was hitting leather and air. Also please note the 7ft Fury was running away from the so called rabbit and was trying to take the piss the whole fight....which in my mind means Fury had no answers for the genius of Usyk. Please note Fury outweighed him by 40 pounds. If I outweighed someone by 40 pounds I'm the hunter not the hunted.

Except he's right, going by the actual data. Fury dominated the first half of the fight, winning 5 of the first 6 rounds, and Usyk dominated the second half, partly due to the knockdown he got in round 9.

There were also three rounds with just one scoring punch between the fighters, and four rounds with 2 or less scoring punches separating them. It's really funny to me how people pay no attention to real scoring and just go with a narrative that somebody won and somebody else lost. The fight was so close that you could have scored it either way by a point or two. From a personal perspective, I think Fury threw it away in the second half and Usyk deserved to win on a split decision, but Fury never should have allowed him into the fight after such dominant middle rounds. Woodhall was no doubt closer to objective reality than you were in your scoring.

Fury didn't throw it away, Usyk did what he did to Tony Bellew, where Bellew was ahead and then ran out of gas just past halfway because of Usyk's constant movement and educated pressure
@@petethompson3510 It really doesn'tmatter, does it? Objectively, Fury won five of the first six, and then Usyk won the second half. The knockdown probably separated them. Everything else is just whatever narrative we want to put over the fight. You have to look at it from both fighter's sides. Usyk did extremely well to turn the fight around, and Fury will think he shouldn't have made the mistakes that gave Usyk momentum and a knockdown. That's it.

I agree with Richie. Rounds 3-6 when he had settled it was completely one sided in Fury’s favour and it looked like he was messing around with him. He went 1/16 on in play in the betting. Should have stepped on him in the 6th when he really hurt him. I think he just got sloppy, the nose shot turned the tide and then lucky to see out the 9th. I wouldn’t expect him to make the same mistakes again in a rematch if it happens.
