Why didn't you write something with the stylus? Using it to point and click a cursor is 10% of what a stylus is used for. I need a stylus to write notes, not play games.
Yeah
Yeahhhh😑😑😑
I agree i want to see it write
@@sazufiYT it doesn't write too good,at least not no Android, very lag on my pixel 1 ,sony's phone have better experience,it's up to your screen ,there are much difference on Android screen, haven't test on 120hz but should be good
@@billk3401 ok
I swear for a second i thought you were going to say "but steve jobs is dead".
+D Tay Ha! That would've been a bit dark...
I thought the same!!! And didn't know how I was going to react to that! I wasn't a big fan but at the same time he was a man and deserved some respect. Anyway, thanks, I was looking for a solution without having to buy a Note 8 (Battery isn't great I've heard).

same here lol
No showing accuracy or drawing?.....
Just talking
thanks for letting me know, im out and im not watching any more of this
@@YoungBlaze Does it work when drawing on a android?
@@TCHNDJXP that android has to actually have wacum or however you say it built into it, like the notes and the s6lite and s7's
Dude, you're talking way too much. Show me how it works.
I need to know how accurate the Bamboo Tip is, before I buy it.
But all you show is pictures and movement on a game.
What's up with you?
Nobody buys it for playing top-down-games. It's for writing and drawing - so please go on with a real review!
Michael Weber that's what I thought. No evidence!
Tesco Primark Ever worse: All reviews on German Amazon are sponsored. So there's no real review and the reviewers even aren't used to review technical stuff... Looks like bad marketing for idiots.
Couldn't find a store to test the Tip yet without buying it...
I have this pen. Returning it tomorrow. It doesn't work like he said. Notice he used it on a note. Not the LG he said it should work on. Let me tell you-it doesn't work well at all.
He probably can't draw shit. Who the hell buy a $50 stylus to play mobile games and do some basic typing anyway.
Thanks Michael! I don't need to write anything else, just giving you a thumbs up. The video was total waste of time, nothing useful!
Unfortunately the digitizers in most smartphone and tablet screens are too low-resolution for the fine tips on the pens to be useful for precision drawing or handwriting. The non-Pro iPads have a resolution of *41x30*, which is 1/50th the resolution of the screen. It's decent enough for human fingers but nowhere near enough for fine-tip pens.
Tried it on a Galaxy Note 4. It was the closest stylus that could match what was practically built in to the Note itself. Considering that Wacom digitizer technology drives every Sammy devices that responds to a S Pen.
LOL Right! Go straight to the source :-)
Yeah. I just noticed. My mistake 😂. Maybe that was another Wacom stylus I tried and someone said that it was the new one. Thanks for the heads up though
It does not use the Note's Wacom technology.
You could use a whole range of Wacom EMR styluses that would work better and not need charging.
'Oh I think I'll get one of those' - *looks at price....*
It would have been nice (just for completeness) if you had mentioned that neither of the styluses in this video supports pressure sensitivity.
And the only rechargeable batteries that should be bought, are Panasonic Eneloop. Before first use, charge them to full capacity (if needed at all) and do write down the date and time that you inserted them in your gadget. It’ll take months before a recharge is required. Almost a full year in my Logitech mouse+keyboard with 10+ hours daily use (AA size). And the mouse feels much more responsive (up until the battery runs out).
Get at least a blister or box of Eneloop with a mid 2017 manufacturing date to have the latest incremental Eneloop update (a.k.a. even better charge retention) included.
BTW I think the pronunciation of Wacom consensus is "wah come" - the name is a mashing of the Japanese words Wa (harmony or circle) and Komu (the "com" part of "computer") ワコム
That makes perfect rational sense. The emotional side of the debate is almost as visceral as "gif" vs "jif" LOL...
JuanBagnell IKR... We all know the correct one is *Jif* XD
Great video as usual. I'm going to stick to the passive stylus. I can see the use for an artist or someone like you that has a clear benefit to using this device, but $50 is a lot for occasional use. I have a pen/stylus that's working for now, but I might look into a new one with a fine tip and wide tip in the future.
Thx 👍 Battery vs Environment issue is a high priority for me too. Good on you.
I'd like one of these but Amazon doesn't ship to my country. So many products I like but still can't purchase
Check the Wacom site.

Tell you guys what, I can order a bunch and will ship individually. Pay for shipping and the pen.
Will this work with Dell Inspiron 2 in 1, please? I'm struggling to find a pen that will that I can use for drawing:(
Thank you so much! Now I know the name of the pen that you've been using in your vids. Coolness!
Just got this video on my feed. Great information thanks for the video.
Finally! I have been asking what this pen was for years . Lol
Been looking for ages for an active stylus and this one seems to tick all the boxes. A good test is to try to *slowly * draw diagonal lines. Most active stylus(es) can't properly handle diagonal lines and makes them very jaggy. Have you had any luck with this one?
Joey Castellon I was wondering the same thing. I've yet to find an active stylus that can draw diagonal lines slowly without getting all wavy.
czcams.com/video/uDVzitOiQ8k/video.html
Slow enough for you? Though my shaky hand plus trying to shoot video makes the line a little wonky...
JuanBagnell you're the greatest!! That stylus definitely looks like it's the way to go. Really appreciate you taking the time to do that extra test!!
thankyou for this video!!
Your video helps clear my mind that you have to have a Note Series to use a stylus on a phone.
Great video. I have to investigate more on this to see if it will work with my old android tablet.
Does it work with OnePlus 6T phone? Can you confirm from somewhere to me. Thanks bro
Looks like a great stylus!

Interesting product, I wonder could you use this on the trackpad of a macbook (or, any laptop with a capacitive trackpad) for uses like PDF signing etc
LOL I honestly didn't think of that since my laptop has a touchscreen.
Lol, I actually bought my YogaBook for this exact reason, signing NDAs and loan agreements was a PITA, but if you could sign on a standard trackpad, that'd be very interesting
RIGHT! I have no idea where my Yogabook stylus is...
the one that came in the box is hot garbage, but luckily, because its just a Wacom digitiser, I actually use the Samsung Staedtler Noris Digital Stylus with it, works awesomely.
though I do lose it because it looks like a legit Pencil
That's a great idea!
I thought I was the only one who love playing top down shooters with a stylus. But I love my note and galaxy tab with Spen. Other than the AAA battery it's looks amazing.
Thanks for doing this
Juan! Have looking like crazy after som rewievs for input for a input gadget. Thanks!
+Jorgen Sandstrom you're very welcome 🙂
Ahh! I've been wondering what's the stylus you use in your Pocket Now reviews. Definitely will look into this!
Good to see a video like this. I love using a stylus instead of my finger. I have a Galaxy Note 5 and a LG Stylo 2 plus i love using. But im using a different phone now. Keep up the good work 👏👍
Ok
Is there a palm rejection in this stylus? If yes, will it work with android devices like samsung tab S5e?
When you say 'all' capacitive touchscreens, do you really mean all capacitive screens, or only the devices that support styli?
All devices with a touchscreen (but not resistive touch screens from the old Windows Mobile PDA days) will work with this stylus. Not all equally well, but all will register input.
JuanBagnell That's awesome! I'm guessing this somehow fools the screen into registering a wider area of capacitance? Shouldn't have spent my money on Adonit Mark :/ Thanks though!
JuanBagnell will it work with Microsoft surface
My friend Jordan is giving me this phone Sunday! Jordan if you are reading here your the best
I have one of these for drawing on my iPad ,but when I use it it makes wiggly lines instead of straight and smooth ones? Can some on help?
is this a bluetooth pen? im curious cause i might need it for my galaxy tab a
I love my Bamboo Fineline; been using it for years. I believe Wacom makes most of the card readers used at store checkouts and the Bamboo can be used there.
Really? I should try that!
Does this need removable tips repair everytime and does this work for fire hd 8
Does it work on plus 6
Can I write with that bamboo stick ? On samsung notes app for the Tab A 10.5 (2018) WHICH DOESN'T SUPPORTS "S PENS" normally ?
5:05 what app are you using to edit the videos on your phone?
Excellent video 👍🏽 OK with all of the styluses can you just use it on any normal Android phone like Huawei mate 20?
Apple: All you need is your finger, but we won't put a touch screen on a MacBook.
Apple: All you need is your finger, but iPad pencil is a thing.
Obligatory apple rant aside.
I was about to ask why do you need a battery... But I guess it creates a electromagnetic field so pressing it against the screen is not needed?
Renato Laporte Apple "Small tablets are terrible! No one wants big phones!" Sigh...
I'm not sure why the power source makes the stylus so much better, but it's WAY nicer than using a passive stylus.
JuanBagnell blasphemy! Blasphemy!
In Spanish there is a refrain, Donde dije digo, digo Diego. (en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/donde_dije_digo,_digo_Diego) not sure if there is a English version of it.
I should definitely try something like that, specially for some games...
Eh, you can type with 1 finger, not comfortable, but doable. And sure, all you need is a finger, but not for drawing, which is the main purpose of the Apple Pencil.
@@anhhuynhkimnguyen6793 This is why I respect Apple as SAM FAN, they do what they think is right and if it's not they change their mind no problem ... they copy features .. im not mad at companies coping from each others .. we are the buyers after all
The battery is used to generate a charge which flows to the tip. Touch screens work by using your finger or a stylus to create a circuit
But does it have a pressure sensitive tip
can we write on our phone screen by using thing stuff like we write something on paper which is our hand is literally touch the screen while we using it?
I'm buying this. It's useful for taking screenshots and using more precise controls on my phone. It's a necesity.
Sir is it works on mi max 3 ????plz reply does it work 100% on mi max 3
have u seen the reviews of this thing on AMazon..
Does it work on Huawei P10 Lite? I have a drawing app on my phone and would like to know if it will work on my phone before I but it
can it be use on samsang s pen only or we can use on simple android phone only, what is the model no u show in video
It did not worked with my Huawei P10 Lite when I tried it last year. Are you saying it works with any device now?
Does this have pressure sensitivity? I wanna use it for drawing in my tab 4 8.0 and S8 +
No
No stylus has that
Is it pressure sensitive? Producing natural tapering or strokes when painting or drawing.
Thanks for the review now I know which one to get my little brother
It doesn't say much about the functionality itself as there is nowhere in the video where we could see how it writes and how accurate it is in terms of pressure sensitivity, lagging and picking up handwriting accurately. Will be waiting for another video though.
Thanks so much! I'm looking at getting a Samsung Galaxy TabA and wanted the ten inch but wanted a stylus so was looking at the 8inch with the s pen witch is way more expensive. But now I can get the ten inch and just get this. I'm stoked.
I have the tab a 10.1 without the s pen and wanted a stylus for art, how have you gone with it?
@tech.dude, thank you. you have been helpful. it's been a few years since I have started using a capacitive-touch smartphone and I have never owned a stylus alongside one. I didn't know or think to buy a stylus separately until recently... yes, I have to claim ignorance; not all that embarrassed.
Wacom is how I shall pronounce the word from here on and waaaygoing into the future. looking forward to seeing more good and useful content from you in this sphere.
good luck_ be easy. peace.
I have this styleless but when I turn it on it doesn't work on my Samsung phone like you showed any advice? I'd really hate for my moms money to go to waist :( so please if you have any advice I'm all ears!
Just wanted to say thanks for the review of the Bamboo tip. Just picked one up today from "not-so" Best Buy. I absolutely love it with my Pixel 2 XL.
Glad to hear you're enjoying it! I really liked it :-)
@@SomeGadgetGuy Does one of them work on a HUAWEI tablet?
Please forgive me if this sound like a stupid question, but "would this work with Samsung A70 running Android 10 OS smartphone?"
I purchased a Staedtler Noris Digital Stylus and for my bad luck it is not even working natively to swipe screen up, down or left and right, open apps or do anything. I really would like a working stylus to use drawing apps like Sketchbook and Ibis Paint in my Samsung A70.
I just want to know which is the fastest pen for phones, and another question what is bamboo tip co and bamboo tip pro? Bamboo tip have some different versions?
Hi, May I ask, I am thinking of using it with a low end Samsung 10inches Tab, I believe it doesn't have the pressure sensor to cater for a bit of drawing of lines (mainly for drawing, circling on OneNote). Is this better than other Disc-tip Styluses or fine point stylus? Your comment is much appreciated. Thanks
For some reason you just can't buy this in the UK, It's not even mentioned on the Wacom UK store site. Anyone know what's going on?
I have a question: what if we only have a cheap tablet with no pressur sensitivity? Does the pressur pen still work⅔
Great video Juan! does this pen has pressure sensitivity? do you recommend it for sketching?
No pressure sensitivity, so I'd only recommend it for casual sketching. I LOVE it for gaming and editing.
Have you by chance tested this thing and compared it to something like the Adonit Dash3?
Does this stylus work with all tablets? I'm trying to decide between Lenovo Tab 4 plus and Samsung Tab A, I'm a student and want to write notes etc.
what is the difference between these stylus with power to a no i power one? I didnt know you get power ones untill I searched for this video.
I have a samsung s9+ and wanted to get a pen to make it easier editing small details on photos.
Does this work with bluetooth in iPad 2? Looking for something that will work with Procreate.
U said it's for all phones so, it will work on my huawei y7 right?
Does it work with a touch screen laptop? And what about tablet mode?
I'm giving up on the Samsung Note series and just ordered an LG V20. I know that this won't be as good but I'm hoping that this might help with the stylus withdrawal. I really hate fingerprints on the screen.
Will it work on the galaxy tab a 10.1 (2019)... Plsz reply cuz i m thinking of buying one
Yes
I need to know too. I need to take notes
@@Tenite are you sure
@@sickeditsss do you not know what universal mean?? It means it works for ALL touch screen devices..
would you prefer the tip over the bamboo fine line ?
Hello am just asking if is ok.
Does it last long?...
Pls reply
Is this pen supports lenovo phablet or poco f1, or xiomi note 4 or note 7 pro phones...?
Better than the free S-pen? Which is the best S-pen? I'm currently using the S3 pen with the tab S7+ because of the design.
Can you used this pen on any Android phone?
Does this have tilt support? I'm trying to find a stylus for android phone drawing just for fun with tilt support (it's kinda a hazzle to keep positions your stylus tip 90 degrees just to get the lines registered)
Would this go well with an iPad Air 2. Please advise.
Cool review fun to watch and informative, nice
Does it work on the samsung galaxy tab a8?
I love using these fine-tipped stylus' for games like Fallout Shelter. Nothing beats it!
how Do i know if my phone is capacitive?
does this pen have the press sensibility enough for the digital drawing beginners??
Can you set up the Wacom stylus to remotely trip the pixel 6 pro camera.
What about the nib...does it need to be replaced after some time?
Nice pen for people that use a pen that much. Me,,,not so much, but I'm sure there are many that do. I have the old original Stylo and though the pen worked well and found it cool,, hardly ever used it. But,,, it's nice built in for those, just in case, moments. Thanks Juan
Does this pen also supports Windows like Acer aspire switch one 10 which is a laptop+tablet combo
As anyone used this on a Amazon fire 8 hd tablet? Does it work good?
Still no pressure sensitivity and need for charging AND it's price makes it useless compared to the S-pen on any GALAXY NOTE. Even though I don't actually use pen so often it is the must have feature since I had my first snartphone (GALAXY NOTE 2). S-pen is not only a stylus it is even more than E-pen becose of device that is build on features for that pen. Simply that S-pen is build in, no need for charging, and especially pressure sensitivity makes it really amazing with "real pencil" experience while drawing.
Will this work on inspiron 13 7500U 7378 laptop? My laptop says pen and touch support: touch support with 10 point.
If I bought this would I be able to do free crop like the Note 8? Thanks.
Will it work on Samsung Galaxy tab s3 with palm reflection? Wondering if my penmenship would be better than s-pen
Is the tip slippery or does it have some traction?
What about palm rejection? If they dont provide palm rejection then using them on a tablet for extended times of note taking is not recoomended
Compared to Bamboo fineline, which one is better?
How does this compare to the Apple pencil or Microsoft surface stylus. I'd assume it's just as good?
Hey good review. It's hard to find reviewers who care about the stylus.. One q: have you tried the passive stylus from adonit? With an optical disk tip? They are not perfect but they are not the 3 dollar styly either. And don't need charging.
Would this work on a iPhone 8 Plus or a ipad that is not a pro iPad ?
Hello! Is it compatible with Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 "2019? Thank you!
Has an updated version of this been released??
On a side note juan can you make a comparison between the mate 10 pro and a entry level dslr?
Does anyone know if these Stylus pens work with the Amazon Fire 8 tablet? That's the only tablet I have right now. :/
friend could you tell me if it is compatible with Android 7 tablet?
does this thing have pressure sensitivity or not?
