Rest in Peace Ronnie. What a beautiful voice and a beautiful person. You will be truly missed.
I'm 60- this is the music that was playing on my mom's radio in the kitchen when I was 3-4...This music sounds like those times. Thank you Ma'am, and Rest in Peace...
me too thats how i know all this older music she will be missed loved it when she sang with eddie money that song was my generation
I'm 73. This song was playing on MY transistor radio when I was riding my horse along the Medina River outside Bandera, Texas, when I was 16. I don't know what the wild turkeys, cattle and the Angora goats thought of that symphony, but I was in 7th Heaven. Thanks, Ronnie. Rest in peace.
I remember too. I got my first transistor radio in 1962. I will be 67 this summer.
I was just thinking ,"my goodness I grew up with her songs " I was maybe 4/5 years old. Time flies by
Rest in peace , Ronnie Spector
@@mhammer5 That would have been a cool gift back then. Like getting an iPhone now LOL....
Heartbroken.. She was a groundbreaker and charming spirit. RIP Ronnie we will always love you🌹

RIP Ronnie, she was great singer!
Rest in peace Ronnie you were my favorite girl I grew up with you thank you for all your music
Notice how she died 3 days after Bob saget died and Bob saget died 3 days after Sydney poitier died
American Legend and a Queen all in one.
Ronnie Spector was such a beautiful singer. I loved when she sang on Eddie Money's '"Take Me Home Tonight". She sung on it " be my little baby" which is from her own song. RIP Ronnie. 🌺 Eddie and Ronnie are making music in heaven now.
That's the only reason I knew her
I got to see her live when she was about 70-she still looked and sounded fabulous. Be My Baby is one of the great singles of all time. She also sounds fantastic on a song called When I Saw You. RIP Ronnie-you brought much joy to millions.
This is sad to hear! Praying for the family and friends. Praise God for her awesome voice! 🙏😊
Always loved her. Incredible voice. Tonight it will echo in the heavens. You'll truly be missed.
A beautiful and extremely talented performer. She will truly be missed. A true queen of my generation. RIP
A groundbreaker. RIP Ronnie.
Eddie Money’s “Take me home tonight” was and still is a favorite of mine. Rest easy lady, your impact on music was incredible.
Exactly!
I love that! R.I.P. Ronnie and Eddie!!
Man 2022 has taken to much of my childhood. Rest easy Ronnie and thanks for the memories. ❤️🙏❤️🙏
So awesome, she will be missed!
Darn sad to hear. A great contribution to the music industry, the sound of my childhood.
Another legend gone...thank you Ronnie for the wonderful music--
R.I.P. Ronnie! You were a big huge part of my upbringing! Even though I'm a 2nd generation fan my father loved playing the Ronnettes as well as the Shirelles, Dee Dee Sharp and many more!
I am so blessed to have been raised around the classic Oldies But Goodies music and your legacy shall live on forever! Peace My Lady✌🙏
My heart broke and tears filled my eyes when i heard that the voice I loved since the early sixties had fell silent. I have to admit I had a crush on Ronnie Spector that lasted till this day. She had that tremendous and distinct voice that came from the best rock and roll of the fifties thru early seventies. The Ronnetes songs and others from that era of rock also brings tears when I think of simpler times when all of my family was still alive and we used to listen on our little wooden radio to those girl groups that captured our hearts and souls.
Walking in the Rain...one of my all-time favorite songs.
I have always been a fan of the Ronettes. Phil Spector was a musical genius!!!!
We've lost yet another talented musician, I never realized Ronnie was short for Veronica, or that she was the Ronnie in Eddie Money's hit song... Take Me Home Tonight.
Her Ex. Phil Spector was a Genius, but only music industry insiders really understand his musical achievements, and struggles with mental issues.
There is a good CZcams documentary on The Wall of Music, it showed me just how Important this man was.
He was an evil genius and a murderer!
@@SheltonWalden relax, dude. Lol. We are talking about the music, not extra curricular activities.
I have listened to "Be my Baby" almost every day for . I am now 77 and loved the Ronnettes.
My husband and I had the privilege of seeing Ronnie Spector perform all around CT and NYC. She was the most graciously generous woman; delivering a performance like no other, then hanging out for hours after her show meeting and greeting devoted fans. She was classy, sassy, sweet, and super intelligent. I’ll cherish my memories of her, one of the fiercest, bravest, loveliest souls to grace this earth. Thank you Miss Ronnie for giving so much of yourself to the world. ✌🏽🙏🏽♥️
Is anyone surprised that both the Rolling Stones and the Beatles loved her? She was one of a kind. RIP Ronnie.
We lost another great talent who had a voice which will never be equaled. Veronica, Estelle, and Nedra, were truely among the top girl groups of the 60`s with their powerful voices backed up by the wall of sound. I`m so glad that I have several of their songs on my Juke box, my favorite, Walking in the rain. RIP Ronnie.
To think that a singer had this many friends, is nice. Rip Ronnie. Her music gave people joy.
Damn 2022 coming out of the gate kickin, so many good ones already!
💙🙏🏻💙🙏🏻💙

RIP Ronnie you were the best, you and the girls bought much love to this little blue planet.
In an age [now] when every single piece of new music sounds the same and every new singer's vocal sounds the same, one could not help but always hit the 60s button on the radio when needing a dose of great music. Just yesterday I sang along to Be My Baby on the car ride home. The news hit me like a 2X4 as I was convinced she would live forever.
Sweet and lovely.Beautiful voice .
Rest in Peace, angel Ronnie. Thank you for all your timeless tunes and sparkling spirit. We love you forever.

What a loss. At least we have her music to comfort us and enjoy
In an interview years ago Eddie Money said he wanted to find Ronnie to sing with him on his new song. He finally got her number and called her. He ask "Ronnie, what are you doing?" and her reply was something like "I'm doing the dishes". Got to love it.
