Another set of great flies Alex ! Thanks for sharing 👏🏻👍🏻
Thanks Phil! Much appreciated and glad you enjoyed it 🎣🐟
10/10 very good videos, must tie the one for the dee. if we ever come out of lockdown.
Thanks James, glad you’re enjoying the videos. Stay positive, those well rested lockdown fish will be ready and waiting for when you can fish again.
Thanks for your time, I've subscribed. ALF
Thanks!
Great video, thanks. Subscribed 👍
Thanks for joining Robert, hope you keep enjoying the videos!
Great video, Alex. Really like the look of the Gummy Bummy, will tie some up for the Dee soon in readiness for the 'season' to start again. I've found black to be really good there - especially size 18/20 black and red jigs - so might try a variant with a spiky black front section as well as the above tying. Thanks for the materials list, too; it's surprising how few CZcams tiers take the trouble to include it, but it's a big help.
Thanks Carl! Let me know how you get on with a black version, sounds like a terrific idea. I have done well on the Dee with the bootlace jig too.
I am always looking to improve the videos and will start adding in tiles with the material lists for each fly to make them even easier to follow.
Tight lines!
Great flies¡ thansk¡¡
Thank you too!
Hi Alex really enjoyed the video. I’ve just started fly tying but been fishing a while. Can I ask what size beads you would use for a size 14 hook please? Is there a chart somewhere or is it just trial and error? Thanks
Hello Alex, thank you for this super video, and one question, what hook number are you using for the pink shrimp?
Thank you Alvydas, sorry for the slow reply. I tie the pink shrimp in size 10 to 18 for a range of situations. If fishing the limestone karsts in Europe you may want to go even smaller.
