I’m not familiar with the raptors. That said size up for the Salomons. If you’re doing mega miles day after day on mixed terrain- including lots of tarmac - little will be better than the Salomons. They really really amazed me - have you seen my other videos about boots on my channel?? A few more on the elixirs

Those shoes suck as much as they look. That material that’s above your toes is the same rough material that’s inside your toe box grinding on the side of your foot as you walk or run.

To each their own- agree they look … odd- but were fantastic for me , and ate up the miles with no discomfort from the mesh !!!
