dang, just saw this episode! I don't usually believe in game grudges carrying on to new ones, but when it comes to going back on your word...it's fair to target them.
It wasn't even by a roundabout way like Myraid so he could still claim " I didn't attack you, it was the Myraid."
There is one way to make sure I never play magic with somone and that is breaking deals.
Wow that was some horrific betrayal. He'd get a slap from me if I was playing with him.
Just target Kyle for every game, let him learn his lesson on how dumb that politicking is

What’s the point of a deal if they don’t uphold it.
Support doesn't let you put multiple +1/+1 counters on a single creature. Not super important but I believe Atraxa should've only gotten one +1/+1 counter at 5:26 before proliferate
We don't break deals even if it means we are going to die. Bad form on Kyle's part.

See Im a person that if a deal is stuck and is violated then the game gets mooted on the spot for bad sportsmanship, really loved this game so it sucks that it ended that way.

Facts, it was a great game otherwise! But I’d rather lose then lie and go back on a deal. I’d target/not enjoy playing with the betrayer for several games to follow.

I'm not okay with betrayal in commander if someone does that to me I'll make it appoint to spite them multiple times especially when they don't expect it.

How did atraxa get 2 counters from that spell?
Sun Titan and the angel are the only things with vigilance for his 3rd combat, he shouldn't have been able to attack with everyone near the end there.

Suntitan only brings back cmc of 3 or less, so Marton Stromgald wouldnt be coming back from that trigger

Can someone explain how reality spasm was able to be cast for x=55? I think I missed how BK had that much mana??
Reality spasm has an x in its mana cost and with Hinata on the board it costs 1 generic less for each target. So he was able to basically play it for UU and make x=however many targets he wants. That's why Hinata is great with X spells that target multiple things.
How many matches do you guys record before posting, just curious, your games are quick but with so many great interactions, none of you seem to be getting mana screwed, so I wanted to know what your editing process looks like. Do you film a few games and just pick the best one?
Hello there! We typically record a few games each game night and choose which one to showcase. We certainly do encounter flooding and mana screw on occasion though. We’ve had a few games showcased where one of our players experienced it unfortunately. Thanks for watching!
At 5:07 J Man does discard a Wonder, though he doesn't own an island. His creature don't get flying.
Hello there, correct his creatures didn’t have flying the moment Wonder hit his graveyard. Wonder was online, however at 6:43 when he played hallowed fountain. Of note, there was no point from 5:07 through 6:43 that it mattered. Thanks for your feedback and have a good day

Hello there! We here at Mostly Casual Commander don’t focus on highly competitive deck building. Kyle’s isshin deck can certainly go off and do a ton of damage, but he didn’t build it with cEDH in mind.
Good game but Kyle sucks for being a liar. Never make a deal with them again.

I've made deals before in commander but I've never actively betrayed someone outright.
I made a deal once to not kill someone so they can have one more turn... And then they went to instant speed wrath me so I killed everyone at the same time and just said "well it's either I win here or I lose" and it was no hard feelings.
It's whatever Isshin is too boring imo
I wouldn´t have shaken the winners hand after he cheated. In 1v1v1v1 the dialogue is the best part, joining up against someone who is in the lead and helping some combos trigger for common benefits.. breaking a deal just makes it so there is no more trust and therefore less fun for everybody.
Great game, but Kyle is kinda nasty for the betrayal. Ruins the fun of the game
betraying a deal is very toxic
If someone has the right to go back on a deal, then shouldn't you have the right to go back on the play the deal was made on and choose a different action? Seems only fair
