There are definitely a lot of combos you can pop off quick with Shorikai, not just synergies. But they're kind of cringe and I liked your approach, great video!
Actually good thing to see a non vehicle approach, but there are cards which low playability. First rebec locks you out from using oswald or master transmutter, second what will oswald aim for? cyberdrive works on non-creature artifacts and there are only 19 and you have to sacrifice for oswald's ability, isocron scepter could give you infinity mana or self-mill possibility but what will you do or what do you search, fourth wonder, disgusting how good that card but there are few good hitters and cyberdrive would give fly aswell and you can tutor it. Well rounded control decks but thats why i hate most azourius decks they dont have good wincon or you can find yourself in a deadend but still good content
With it being more of a control style deck it's pretty typical to have a few bombs and require a little setup to win. Rebec may lock you out of using two cards but it also provides lots of utility outside of that. It can protect quite a lot of combo pieces. Cyber drive doesn't need to just straight up win the game when it lands. It most likely will eliminate someone though. Note that it also works with tokens. The deck has a lot of draw with shorikai so churn through the deck quickly and find what you need. Wonder is just for discarding to shorikai and the flying for your team is def worth it.
Because it loses all other types other than vehicle, I'm fairly certain you can't redirect kill spells to spell skite. You could do it once in response to a kill spell and then it's no longer a creature after that.
You stated spellskite being able to change target openent equip (lets say swiftboots), to itself. With that said, if your opponent is targeting another creature to destroy of yours, could you activate spellskite ability to make the spell whiff?
I think vehicles could be viable but for some reason they just don't excite me and seem clunky. Requiring another creature to activate a better creature just feels strange to me. I like the idea of giving purpose to some low drops that are mainly used for their enter the battlefield effect and are otherwise useless after that but I just don't feel compelled to build around it I guess. ~Matt

The main win con of the deck is through artifacts attacking. Cyberdrive awakener is a huge finisher, Kappa cannoneer can be a massive unblockable attacker, isochron sceptre with dramatic reversal and mana rocks that produce at least 3 mana provides infinite mana, and with infinite mana Urza becomes a monster allow you to play every card in your deck. ~Matt

nice sum up and presentation. I'm going the other way and focusing vehicles, but so many of these cards work great in the mech deck
How do you like the vehicle focused version? I initially was going to go that route but thought that it may be too clumsy on a budget. ~Matt

Yeah shorikai is a banger of a deck. I may revise it and update it with some of the new cards that have come out.

Unfortunately you could not because it is not a legal target since it cannot be targeted by spells owned by your opponent.
