In this gameplay trailer, you will continue to follow the journey of Basim, one of the most versatile and resourceful Assassins in franchise history. Some new features that can be seen in the gameplay trailer are the Assassin’s Focus, which allows Basim to mark and assassinate several targets in a row. You also will get classic Assassin tools such as throwing knives and smoke bombs. We also have a brand-new parkour ingredient, the Pole Vault. Not gonna lie. Hearing them say that Mirage will not have a DLC made me sad cause if the game it's that good and the character is likable.... it would be a missed opportunity again
I thought they would make a Sigurd dlc because we know basim meets sigurd, that would have been cool to see, even if it was just 1 cutscene

What's funny is that unity went gold 5 years after it's release date
I think that the minigame might be similar to the QTE that you do to assasinate higher level enemies in Valhalla. Could be that they do that as well for stealing to make it more challenging.
As an addition to little things in the trailer, I heard an NPC talk Persian (the language used in today's Iran) and that was interesting cause Baghdad was I think a part of Persian empire at the time.

See I'm going to remain skeptical this was supposed to be a DLC and it feels like they're going back to "how assassins creed use to be" just to get the OG fans to shut up before they go back to the formula they've been doing ubisoft is on fire and needs to listen to its older players to avoid things like far cry 6 being the same as the others and to change up assassins creed
They said Red is the last of the RPG style games so Hexe may be like the og games and u trust them since its the Montreal team making that one

AC Valhalla actually launched a week early as well, due to it going gold and with the week early it launched with the Xbox Series consoles

The game looks good so far, graphics look stuning, and the city of Baghdad has many parkour options and hopefully we get just a little more control with parkour and less automation

Eivor was just a tank of a man that could take on anyone or anything , would be interesting to see how Basim would fight these foes especially the guy that uses flames

I know this sounds dumb but will basim be able to jump?😅 because I don’t remember a game where you can jump freely

All this is well and good, but am I the only one who has a problem with Basim as the protogonist I mean this is the guy who betrayed Sigurd and Eivor (main protogonist) tried to kill them and then tricked Layla to trap her in a machine which essentially renders her into a coma like state where he frees himself in typical villain fashion and now we are suppose to play this character and just forget all that. You could say that he became that character later on and not during the timeline of this game but that's not how it works in story- telling now does it? I mean am i missing something? was there a redemption arc that I missed? or is it simply a case of "God of war made Loki a good guy (protogonist) let us also do it" situation.

I think the real reason they're launching on October 5th is because the 12th was too close to Spider-Man 2 on the 20th.

Going hold doesnt mean that it has minimal bugs. Going gold gold means that they now have a version of the game that is starting to be printed out on disks to get ready for launch.
Not really sure what you mean here mate? Going gold is an industry standard when it comes to the current game's quality. They used to have to print the games on discs before digital releases, with the first disc being gold, this has now changed into a level of performance regarding the game before public release.

@@AndyReloads You do know that Ubisoft released AC Unity in an extremely buggy and broken state right? Being approved by a manufacturer doesn't necessarily mean that it has a low number of bugs. Just that it's considered to be good enough to be printed onto discs to be sold.
But it's more then that... When a game releases is all about the investors who want their money back with a return on their investment. If a game isn't ready to launch and the publisher/investors aren't going to move the date and potentially spend even more money so the devs can finish it. Too bad, it's going to get released broken even if it wouldn't normally pass inspections. Just ask any dev why games come out broken and unfinished in the industry.
No extra content and 20 hour campaign... SOOO this is a DLC that they finally polished to the point a AAA studio should. Looks good but this is how all games should be

I am ridiculously excited about the release of this game! And especially with the promo clutter that you can buy. Yes, I said clutter... Cause I don't NEED it but I'll WANT it.
I would say “Going Gold” doesn’t necessarily mean it’s ready to be shipped. More often than not a gold master of a game just means it has every single bit of planned content inserted, and now just needs polishing around the edges. Let’s hope this month and a half gives them plenty of time to do so

Personally I don’t understand what all of the recent fuss has been about concerning Devs making money with selling additional weapons, armor, skins, etc. Personally, I enjoy going through and occasionally getting a New look for my ship or crew. I’m having fun and I’m supporting the developer. I think it’s Win-Win. If you don’t want the content, don’t buy it!

They should be selling this game for $25-$30. They should’ve just made it the DLC that it was supposed to be for Valhalla and call it a day. There’s really nothing new in this game at all, just the animations and those have barely been changed itself. I’m waiting for this game to go on sale, I believe it’ll be on sale before the holidays even come.
i’m kind of upset about the hood staying up and the lack of outfit customization cuz that was one of the only things i really liked about the new games
