Hello everyone, This year marks the third year anniversary of this passion project of ours. While I was the overseer, director and editor of the project as a whole - this ambitious project was held up by the lojality and talent of all my fellow actors involved, assistant editors and composer - all who worked for free, including me. This work would not exist without them and their undying dedication. They deserve all the love they can get in the comment section and beyond it. Some of them have even gone professional since then, and I wish them the best of luck. The idea to craft the project was born from the possibility of making the most true adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons seminal pages - and I believe we came quite close! We'll leave that to all of you to decide, however. I have always also found Zack Snyder's film adaptation - albeit good - not a representive adaptation of the source material - and the prospect of making my own version had always been intriguing to me. And I'm glad we got to make this first part and put our stamp on it. We wanted the project to feel like a true crime noir, and not lean too much into the superhero action-movie feel that I felt the film adaptation did. And yes - many have asked me throughout the years to see a continutation of the project to finish off the story. The issue lies in time these days. Managing this project as a whole was a part time job in itself - and it's very difficult to find the time to work on a highly demanding project which provides no financial gain whatsoever. While making the first part was highly rewarding creatively - it was very difficult to keep the wheels going on it. I think most of you can understand my position. We'll see. Maybe one day we'll all reconnect - those in the cast who are willing to do it, that is - and finish off this project, but only time will tell. I would want to do it, and I believe most of those involved want to do it - it's just a matter of when. Until then - if "then" even comes around - I hope you can all watch and rewatch this project as it stands right now - and feel our passion for the source material radiating through it.

I loved being a part of this project, and it's one I would love to see eventually completed. If we were ever to reconnect and decide to finish off what we began, I would be wholly down. I completely understand however, the challenge to find the time to continue such an undertaking. Whatever you decide to do regarding this project, you have my full support. this video really is a masterpiece. the best adaptation of watchmen I ever found. besides actually reading it this is the only way to really enjoy the full story as intended. can't wait for part 2

But you KNOCKED IT out of the field man. Congratulations. I know its a lotta work and I imagine if it is happening, it will be in due time but, any plans to cont this?
I was reminded lately of how much I enjoyed your work with this classic comic book. I love how you have gathered so many great unknown voice actors and created this fanstatic atmosphere with "just" pictures. The choice of music is perfect, the original score that Chasing Shadows did for this series and the amazing voices from the cast. You have managed to capture me in a way I didn't imagine would happen. I'm aware that it might not happen, but I'm dying to see you doing the rest of the comic book and I can only imagine the work you're putting into this. This is the first ever project I've ever been a part of as a voice actor. I'm still so proud of how it all came together! It's just fantastic how Olle pulled everything together, and it was truly a pleasure working with him. I'm a huge fan of this project, and I really hope he comes back to it. love having new voices. the original voice actor for the motion comic did a great job but having variety improve the work a lot. just wish there was animation to this like the original, plus music tracks

@@musio3438 already did twice and is MUCH better, i only tried this one because i couldnt find the real one in HD but just 10 seconds watching this made me realise i didnt want to watch a slide show i wanted to watch the real motion comic and Its AMAZING. I understand if you dont apreciate It but dont say this is better because this is only a slide show. I prefer to read a comic than to waste my time on this.
I know this may sound crazy, But seeing Rorschach's past kinda reminds me of my forth grade school days when i was a kid. I was also bullied in school as well. It was rough for me.
I've been dying to get my friend to watch the HBO series, but I want him to watch this adaptation first. I'm assuming there will be a second part since "Part One" is in the title of this video. Otherwise, let us know, please! Love this so much!
No motion in this motion comic? Eh, it's better this way. We get to see the incredibly clever & powerful use of the 3x3 comic panels this way. Top-notch performances all around. Better than the original motion comic, though I still love the original as well.
@@frangalvez6987 Making this into a full blown motion comic would require tons of time and resources. I think it's understandable how there's gonna be some limitations, when the entire team is working for free.
Um did I miss something? Where’s the motion? Acting and sound effects were great. Love that it’s not abridged. But this ISN’T a motion comic. Audio comic? Audio slide comic?
Thank you for actually having good female voice acting that is not just the same dude in a room talking to himself. Trying to sound like what he thinks a female sounds like. Cuz as a trans girl who has had to change her voice, I fucking hate when companies get cis-men to play women just get a transwoman or a cis-girl to do the voices. We need the money and have the voice you need so just pay us, please.
Ugh! I watched the DC version a year and a half ago (before my egg cracked) and the one thing I definitely won't miss is the laziness they had when doing the woman voices.

The official Motion Comic is so cheesy and overblown. This simple execution with superb voice actors is so much better.
