You think your League of Heroes are fair?
Mind Flayer can control and read minds.
That makes her almost OP.
Knowing how black and white the Heroes can be,they'd either control her or use her to detect crimes ( and we know how well THAT went in Civil War II with Captain Marvel).
She would be literally overworked or mentally broken over time.
And that's IF the Heroes trust her to begin with.
Our hero may have to risk losing the support of other Heroes if he tries to get closer to Mind Flayer.
You're kinda close to my story plan, but juuuuuuuuust off the mark with a few details :p

He keeps mentioning wanting to end the villains. which is starting to really worry.
I'm starting to feel that Mind flare is more of an anti hero.
I do wonder how both of them met as civilians 🤔

4. This one is gonna depend on how you define Anti-hero. Real life me, I'd say maybe. The Hero's League views things a bit more black and white
5. They met simply through online dating sites, Hero and Villain work doesnt leave a lot of time for IRL socialising
@@ZetaAudio so considering they met through dating app mindflare might not have a crush on civilian cap yet. But i think mindflare might not have to much of a crush but looks up to him and trys to keep to the standard similar to his. And thinks hes a good opponent.

this is very late but thanks to my mother constantly playing Hallmark movies I can call out an entire plot of a story within the first few minutes with the right context- that being said in the first part when he mentioned a date turning him down and being vague…. that moment I knew the listener was the date, it was instantaneous- those dots connected so quickly istg💀

Me about the villains escaping all the time: It's almost like someone with in the league might be deliberately releasing them to keep heroes busy or something like that on purpose, could even be that they are a hero keeping themselves busy and relevant because if all the villains get taken in and stay in they wouldn't be useful anymore-
Lol don't mind me and my conspiracy theory, it's just that he mentioned that the League doesn't listen to people about uping security so that the villains don't escape so I suspect the League might be more villains than heroes if they put lives in danger just to keep themselves busy and such. Sus.

POV: (You) Listener was an orphan as a child the caretaker there was strict, mean and would make the children clean the whole 3 story orphanage without rest. one midnight later...you woke up to a... (insert color) light it felt as if it was calling your name you... touched the light and then blacked out the very next morning you were in the bed with some pea soup next to you the caretaker entered with some herbal tea and said "Nasty child, really got yourself sick now take this tea and drink the soup. Tommorow you will be the only one cleaning still sick or not tommorow you will make this place spotless" . You responded "Yes." Afew hours later you felt something weird happening to you. And that's when you discovered your "powers" at first you were freaking out not knowing what to do but after awhile you've thought "What if...i become a hero! Yeah a hero of the world!" But when you got up your powers were going out of control you were hypnostising everyone so..you just decided to go back in your room and put a blindfold on. Few days later the caretaker got a message saying you could live with your grandmother the caretaker quickly agreed since she had already have enough children on her hands as you grew up with grandmother you've noticed she was sick. You were 16 at the time thinking "oh God how may i help grandma!?" You didn't think to get a job considering your still in highschool but you thought of robbing a bank..you were 16 so you were kind of a rebel you had lied to your grandma and said "Grandma im gonna go hang out with friends!" Your grandma agreed and you left to go rob the bank you were a bit stupid you just walked right in the bank and tried to rob an atm machine the people just looked at you like you were a crazy high woman. Then you saw no one was watching the safe upstairs you were like "oh c'mon the love of betsy who puts a safe upstairs and unguarded!?" But you kinda grateful actually you went upstairs where no one was looking and tried to open the safe. 2 security guards came up and said "HEY!! YOU WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE!?" You froze for a second but realized you could use your hypnosis and let them open the safe so you did just that and left without a trace and thats how your villan journey began... (sorry if theres so many mistakes not a really good writer)
