You should have asked him if he's ever seen Joey's eyes.
True story, Not even Joey has seen them.
I barely recognised him without his glasses.
You can find all kinds of photos of Joey with no glasses. Here's one of the whole band on this link... (or just Google "Joey Ramone no glasses").

Here's one more. Not the most attractive guy. LOL!!

Lol!!! Oh man I know!
That NY Accent is heavy!
New Yawk
All the brothers had heavy ny accents.
@@scrappyhustler7467 "brothers" lol
Love it ❤
Back when culture existed
I like Marky here. Lots of respect for surviving the band's experience with so many strong personalities.
That “hair”.... fact or fiction ?
lmaoo
The hair fact it's really there
🤣🤣🤣
Fact
Fiction xD
My friend and I met Marky in Cleveland at Peabodys maybe 18 years ago. We were there to enter a battle of the bands, and Marky and one of the guys in the Misfits (I wasn't very familiar with them in high school) were hanging out there at that moment. They invited us to hang out in the musician lounge upstairs while we were waiting, we all talked for a bit and they were cool as fuck! Couldn't have been nicer.
The guy from the Misfits was probably Doyle.
Christopher Goral Doyle wasn’t in the misfits when Marky was
@@shaymervyn4654 While Doyle was not in the Misfits at that time, because Jerry and Doyle are brothers, Doyle became good friends with Marky.
Was it Dr.Chode
@@christopherjohn9132 nah Marky and Jerry are longtime friends. He had the Ramones over for lasagna at his moms house before Doyle was playing guitar
“She had a lot of balls” 😂
It's true, she did. Imagine being gender-variant in Georgia in the early 60's! When I bought my 1st Electric Chairs E.P. in 1978, a 4-song, 7", 45 r.p.m., U.K. import, "Blatantly Offenzive": "F*** Off," "Night Time," "Toilet Love" & "Mean Mutha F***in' Man," they were still Wayne County & the Electric Chairs. By 1979, they were Jayne County etc. Their 1996 autobiography, "Man Enough to be a Woman," backs Marky's apt quote up. When I got the E.P. I included the songs at the end of a mix tape, but forgot to release the record button on the boom box. My roomy's turntable wobbled, causing the E.P. to skip, & as I recorded "Toilet Love" last, the tape ends w/a toilet flushing over & over again (until I run in & hit stop record). For yrs after, any time I'd hear that song elsewhere, I'd subconsciously expect it to end w/a warbling flush loop. LoL.
@@TheSWolfe that punctuation though. Or should I say, punktuation
@@SpeedKing.. If I'm on my mobile and use alot of punctuation, it comes out fucked. Typesetting is nonexistent.

1:47 Gotta admit, not everyone can keep a straight face while making a joke.
New Yorkers can. And some places in Jersey.
Finally Marky Ramone finished his book. I’ve read Dee Dee’s, Johnny’s, Micky Leigh’s, Monte Melnick’s, Legs, and now I can read Marky’s book. I wish Tommy could have gotten a book out but Tommy did tell his side of everything on “End Of The Century” documentary. Thank you for uploading this man!
I thought Dee Dee had the best book.
MAW-kee RAW-moan.
Oh hell yeah I love Tommy Wiseau
oh hi Marky
To SE Beautiful: Are you female?
Hahahah what a story Marky
“She had a lot of balls” i love how he says that so deadpan
I met Marky at the Niagara Falls Comic Con last year and it was an amazing moment!!!! Bought this book and had him sign it for me. Still can't believe I actually met him and had my picture taken with him.
happy for you.. I met him in 1997.. sell-out ego.. met DeeDee in 1994.. way more of a nice experience.. Marc Bell, he's not a Ramone to me again...
"That's bullshit"! I love the way Marky delivers that
Wiggy Ramone.
Wiggypedia
A lot of honesty. Very interesting interview.
NuclearGrizzly MY ASS!!!
"Hey, I'm Muhky Rumun, and you're wutching Luhdwire"
His wig looks better than ever.
Wiggy Ramone?
Jam Fuse LOL....😂😂😂
Yes
Looks cheese, but it would be worse if he had a shiny bald head. The hair was half their image.
Looks like Jeff Beck and Alice Cooper had a baby, then had Ace Frehley pee on it and throw it off the Brooklyn Bridge....
That is a NEW YOOOK Accent
I got sloppy drunk with Marky in 1999 !!! lol It was a blast.
Vino's Little Rock AR.

+Steven Cole Didn't he get sober in 84?
+Steven Cole for real? I live there! Damn...
according to mark, he was sober by then. he was let back in the Band for Brain Drain (1989) b/c he was sober, and, according to Mark, has remained so.
Smoked a joint with him early 1980a London Ontario
Michael Pasek amazing! I am from North of Toronto
Man that was a sudden edit at 11:49, makes me wonder what else he said about that
yeah and in the last answer too
"Hey I'm Marky Ramone, and you're watching Looud Wiiiree."
I saw Marky Play for the Misfits in 2000, or 2001. I hate the revival Misfits songs, but I realized that he was and probably is a phenomenal drummer. Listening to the Ramones, I never expected to see him go off like that
Listen to Void. That is all he does. Display his virtuoso drumming skills.
I shared a piece of chocolate cake with DeeDee, and we each had a glass of milk. Johnny made me apply to college.
Lies
Met him, most surreal conversation I ever had
What did you talk about?
@@isetmfriendsofire I told him that I wanna be sedated is my favorite song of theirs, what it was like opening for black sabbath, rumor about rock n roll high school that Dee Dee was making meth in the video, only 10 minutes long but it felt longer.
@@Mthom95 Dee Dee had a lot of stories I wasn't sure how many were real but johnny thunders said Dee Dee poured bleach on his clothes and broke or took his guitars etc. Lol
Hey, I’m Mawky Rawmawoon, and you’re wawtching Loud Wyah.
This is so amazing to see. All the stories, all the legends, all the rumors. Music and musicians used to have a mystique...they were legends, myths, ideas.
Social media and the Internet have destroyed that once amazing aspect of music. I'm glad I'm _just_ old enough to have experienced it.
Man, I love this guy. Great interview.
I can't believe he's still rocking the wig to this day
Should do an Ozzy fact or fiction
+Nate C. No need to. It's likely all fact anyway. After all, what do you say about a guy snorting ants off the sidewalk?
+Nate C. He wouldn't remember anything.
Ozzy lies so much he believes himself.
Nate C. He wouldn’t remember anything 😂
Ozzy's hardly can talk
Smooth move, Ex-Lax! You knocked over the backdrop! XD
Punk interview, I think I'll wear a punk shirt
Metal interview, I think I'll wear a metal shirt
Brooklynboi Productions who cares
Classic crossover, I love Motorhead and Ramones. Who gives a shit about the identity politics?? Punk or Metal, don't care. Great songs are great songs
Must suck being a virgin, huh?
Brooklynboi Productions POSER...how much you get paid to sit there and mumble?
@@peterlittle4357 Especially now a days... Just wishing new bands would take a new turn on an old styles, not keep pushing things into Hyper-metal territory...
"Hi, this is Mawky Rahmoan, and you're watchin' Loud-wiya."
Love listening to this man
Why doesn't this have more views, this is awwsum!
Giving up cocaine for Prozac is like going from the frying pan straight into the fire.
Do you speak from experience?
@@erniebuchinski3614 Prozac is terrible...
No it isn't
I know this is a bit old, but you either know nothing about Prozac or Cocaine. You don't get high from Prozac. It doesn't have an immediate effect. For it to work, you shouldn't really notice it. They are opposites.
You obviously know nothing about either coke or Prozac. Cocaine is a very potent, highly addictive stimulant. Prozac is a widely prescribed anti depressant that gives off no high whatsoever. Not even remotely similar. Saying Prozac is more harmful than cocaine shows your lack of knowledge on the topic.
Best interview ever!
Good to see marky is wearing more convincing wigs these days
Glad to stumble upon this channel. Awesome unexpected interviews on here.
Its a very interesting read covering an important Epcot in musical history. Nice to get the history firsthand, warts and all!
I like how, around the 9:30 mark, he denies that he and Joey had an argument on the Howard Stern show about which one was the bigger drunk. it totally happened. They were both on the phone with Howard. I'm sure the audio of that call is on CZcams. Maybe Marky's had a few too many drinks in the past and the ol' brain ain't what it used to be.
My favorite band of all time. But I'd be lying if I said that segment wasn't pure dysfunctional gold. It's amazing they held it together at all with such a spectrum of personalities.
Ramones. Saw them live 1992 in St Louis.
Best band on earth of all time.
I love end of the century...next fav album after the ramones
man ... them talking about ´I wanna be sedated` and looking at Marky is epic .
Marky's so mellow nowadays. It's so weird to think he and Phil Spector were drinking buddies. LOL.
Honestly, the hardest thing to believe is that Phil Spector didn't point a gun at anyone. Aside from producing, it's what he's most well-known for.
Loudwire!!!..GREAT idea for a series...excellent. this kid does a great job and hes obviously, on his own, researched further than just whats on wiki...im subscribing................now. good job with the 8OO k...
Okay; I enjoy this channel - and I love the Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction series. Great stuff. But for such a polished studio setting from a big company like yours; I ask why the editing on audio can be so incomplete?
I am a fan. But I love watching these at night when I'm alone. And that may be my choice. But I know some of these subs use headphones. All of the intro and outro tracks are at least 6-10 slots LOUDER in volume than the interview itself. So I find myself turning the volume up and down not to wake my neighbors; but then I can't hear the actual interview. Lol. This is normal for a low budget channel. But, c'mon guys - You guys have a good team. I know this. You guys interview musicians and producers: Who work WITH THIS KIND OF THING for a living.
I'm not mad; and I know it's "LOUDWIRE" after all, lol. You got the "Loud" part down. But damn; maybe make the interview itself the same consistent volume? Our eardrums and volume buttons will thank you.
Wikipedia Fact or Fiction
Or when Marky Ramone is on Wikipedia Fact or Bullshit
That's one thick NY accent Marky's got there.
Him and Paul Stanley go to the same wig store in Queens
That AA thing rings true., you really have to want to go and people asking / telling you won't work. I've been sober for many years and you do learn that living clean and not drinking are worlds apart.
Cool interview
That was fascinating. Make sure you get him as a guest as often as possible!
Pushon Bhattacharya Too late.
Michael Robinson hes not dead
What are Marky's pants made of? Silk? I like the look of em
he sounds like Christopher Walken
dekapitatorr I was thinking John Malcovich also
Holy shit. Yeah he does
dekapitatorr Both from Queens.

NOW I WANNA SELL SOME BOOKS
Hilarious dude
Has to pay the bills, mortgage and survive somehow... Why not sell a book?
3:58 marky ramones talk about the Beatles song!!!
He looks so regal, like a god
Great drummer. He killed it on those Dust and Voidoid albums.
He was GREAT on the Drums! Live!
should have let him talk more about Joe'y drug use, etc instead of cutting him off..
Dee Dee talked about Joey’s drinking and Coke use in his book.
Love the Ramones. Marky is awesome, but he could be Paul Stanley's brother!
99% of people think the "KKK" who took his babe away was in fact Johnny
My understanding is that Joey had written KKK before Linda and Johnny got together.
My brain is hanging upside down my favorite
No doubt
my birthday bro! marky & Johnny Thunders & Roky Erickson
Damn!!! I love Ramone stories!!! I'm getting this book
It's a great book!
That's a new story for me about Joey writing 'I wanna be sedated'. I always heard he wrote it while in England and there were no stores open because of holiday and hence 'nothing to do no where to go'...
Nah nah he got hurt with a throat soother, haven't watched the video but read that before
haha You are about as clownlike as that interviewer
Sounds like the inspiration for I just want to have something to do
I remember listening to that on air fight on CZcams actually, it was just your normal Howard Stern bullshit where he likes to start things between band mates (well ex band mates at that time). I cant remember exactly how things started but i remember Joey calling Marky a drunk and then things escalated from there.
Marky was always cool. Good drummer too.
Most of the goofiest rumors came from Dee Dee, from his two very Dee Dee-like books. I love Dee Dee.
Professor Snape? Is that you?
***** dammit:/
No matter where I go, I cannot escape the Harry Potter fandom...
Tewn ta page three hundred ninety foooooowaaaa.
I wanna be sedated was written over Christmas when the Ramones were on tour in England
Joey wrote “I Wanna Be Sedated” whilst having an OCD panic attack in a Great Britain hotel room.
You should get Iggy Pop on this someday that'd be epic
I am patient only to hear some Ramones stories,i could hear them all day long!
I need to get that book.
Damn, you haven't talked to your guitar player in nearly two decades and the first thing you say "how the Yankees doing?" That's some deep shit
Joey called Johnny a fascist creep in 1998 or 1999 at Howard Stern
Where did he get that beautiful descendents shirt?
Hot topic circa 2002
@@rjrod1326 Yeah, same place he got that fright wig
Ramones Legend Yes
WOW Marky really wanted to be here!!
i fucking miss them so much..
Fuck, what a perfect guest. :)
He looks bored tbh. Interesting interview though !
It's what he said and who he is that makes him ideal.
Marky getting clean in the 80s is what made him outlive the guys
This is four years later, but Joey Takes Prozac could have been a Ramones song.
Damn... Paul Stanley got old.
HAHA
Quinn Rollen And I thought it was Steven Tyler.
Wonder how he gets his cat to lay so still on top of his head.
*every* old rocker eventually turns into an old jewish guy.

Marky's version: fact of bullshit
Well fellas, guess we know know what's going to happen to us ..
Gene Simmons is suing you for this
Even David Lee Roth!!! Do the non Jews Convert when they hit 50???
Marky's book was awesome and he's a cool dude. Long live the Ramones.
his suit is killer
It's truly sad only 3 of the Ramones are left
I heard the 97' Stern show. Marley called it right. I'm getting the book.
This is great. Dee Dee!! lol
@3:29 is my favorite part 😂😂😂
Also drummer for richard hell
Marky Ramone rocks
Marky's book is great.
Not just a RAMONE, but a Voidoid, and before that drummer for Dust!
@Ozzy Andy 🤫
and especially a Sell-out
Drummer for Misfits
I’d like to hear some Voidoid stories.
Fantastic drummer. The Voidoids.
Marky auditioned for the FUZZTONES in 1985 when he was out of the RAMONES. He didn't get the gig.
