These family bondings are very important to Filipinas. I'm sure Jane enjoyed it a lot! Meanwhile Easter has passed, but here in Belgium the school vacation still lasts until the end of this week. This afternoon I will be bonding with my Godchild (a full Filipina living in Belgium) who is almost 12 years old now. Ninong and inaanak will go for a walk in the forest and then, as the icing on the cake, I will treat her to pancakes. Take care over there in Ormoc!

We were in Capoocan, Leyte last Good Friday. My husband was so regretful we werent able to prepare for this banignit or tambo tambong in pangasinan. But a neighbor gave us a bowl full. And when we visited his cousin same day in Tungonan, she also served us Banignit.

Philipines is a very interesting place. The people there is very hospitable and islands there are very beautiful... we went in Palawan El Nido last week and i can say that it was really like a paradise. The tour is really unforgettable

Life in the province is much more quieter rather than the city life, for me I like province life since most of the food was better simple because all ingredients need to cook where just around my old folks backyard and they show there love by home cook of traditional dishes everytime we visited them

Iâm newer too, so though I viewed Jâs parentsâ home b4; I didnât realize they have their own chapel right there. Looks lovely. When Jâs father went in, I presume to pray, it was justâŠall goodness. It always warms my heart to be in the presence (even virtually) of men of Faith. Men who donât feel constrained or embarrassed to show their devotion in public. Jane is blessed to have that in both her father & husband.
