After purchasing, linear rails I realized they were the wrong rails, because of being too heavy for the gantry, due to inertia, so I ordered flat rails instead. I hope video helps with making a decision on your build.

Gracias por tus palabras, animo, hace poco tiempo, no tenia idea de como funcionaba una CNC, y realmente es mas sencillo de lo que parece. Lo importante es empezar, no importa que componentes se utilizen al pricipio.

I wouldn’t say that flat are lighter, it really depends what size you order.
If those rails are for that large router machine than those would’ve been appropriate.
You’re working with a wood build so you have more than enough flexibility to switch it up.
You should’ve went with 25mm block’s minimum for that sie. 15mm are for 3d printers.
Maybe 15mm on a small short run axis like a lathe cross slide but rule of thumb the bigger the better.
I agree with what you say.
I ended up using 25mm blocks for X and Z and round bars for Y. It worked great.

do you have a video on how you aligned the rails to make sure they were perfectly straight?
No, but the way I align the rails, first I fix one of the rails to the machine, then I slide the gantry on the rail leaving the other one unattached, then I move the gantry from one end to the other end, then I clamp the rail when the movement is smooth and easy, then I permanently attach it.
Hola considera mejor utilizar la guía que muestra en el video para todos los ejes X Y Z que la guía cuadrada con riel plano?. saludos.
Fijate que use rieles planos solo en el gantry.

Yo compré guía cuadrada de 20 mm para el eje X y guias redonda medialuna de 20mm para el Eje Y y el Z guias cuadradas.
Crees que hice buena compra?
Bueno, usualmente las guías redondas pesan más que las cuadradas, en mi caso las redondas las use fijas a la mesa (eje X) y las cuadradas en el carro movedizo (ejes Y y Z) por ser más ligeras, pero eso y a depende de la potencia de tus motores y la velocidad en la que la máquina va a operar. Hiciste buena compra? Yo compre guías redondas para todo, luego tuve que comprar guías cuadradas aparte por que pense que eran muy pesadas y voluminosas.

If I use 8mm rod wilh 1 meter Legnth to make milling cnc for wood and Aluminium , will it bent by the load if the rods are non supported type
probably so. I tried 14mm rod same length than yours it bent a little. specially milling aluminum you’ll need supported rods. hope it helps.

Amigo la distancia para mi trabajo con un riel es de 3 metros para programarlo
si se refiere a como programar el tamaño de la mesa de trabajo, en su caso 3 metros de distancia, dichas dimensiones de indican o programan en el tamaño de su mesa de trabajo en su programa de mach3, debe haber videos especificos relacionados al tema. En este momento no creo tener algun video al respecto, quiza en el futuro pueda subir un video de eso. Buena suerte.
