Thoughts on the walking dead?
For a show that ran for 10+ years, through ups and downs, changes in showrunners and cast members, I was really happy with the last episode, I didn’t want a masterpiece of an ending I just wanted a decent ending to what has been one of my favorite shows of all time, and it delivered. And that final monologue “ we are the ones who live “ was all I needed. A homage to the show’s past and it’s future.
This show ran for 12 years and what an epic ride it was. It is my number one favorite show of all time. I’m excited for the spinoff with my favorite character the most.
Yes Morgan is alive
The reason the speech worked, is they showed for this season that a lot of the troopers didn’t trust her, and that was the final push seeing her kill their own people
Great show, enjoyed every character and episode. Great acting, writing, directing and special effects. I watch it all from beginning to end some episodes repeatedly and multiple episode reactions. My favorite show ever.
The lights on the backgrounds are called kickers. We use them to break up the scene and add depth, they're really not the focus. Your eyes move left to right (in the west) so your eyes still take in the appropriate info and her clothing is a harsh contrast making her stand out more.

That’s such a weird concept to watch only the first and the last of a series with 11 seasons 😅 It’s impossible for you to understand the last episode as it would be for anyone who hasn’t watch the whole thing. we can guess that you will definitely not watch it 😂
I am gonna miss this show so much. Even with the inconsistencies, it’s the best TV show ever for me.
But it’s just my humble opinion ☺️
Season 1-6, then 9-11 are good, but it is necessary to watch the other seasons.
7 is overhated. 8 really sucks. 11 is kinda trash too.
@@JarinCOD 7 gets all the hate it deserves. Sure, it opened strong, but considering we lost Glenn the fact that Maggie had so little screen time is fucking stupid. It's extremely predictable, Negan by all logic should be dead a thousand times over by the end of the season, its just stupid. Season 11 is a step down from 9 and 10 but not by much. The Reapers arc was bad but the Commonwealth arc was fantastic.

@@JarinCOD yeah agreed. It's like they heard complaints over the lack of action, but I felt no tension in any of those action scenes.

Season 9 will always be the best. Time skip and all. I advise anyone who hasn’t watched to give that specific season a shot. It’s legendary along with Fear the walking dead seasons 1-3

The Walking Dead was 1000% an inspiration for The Last Of Us, mainly the genre of a southern zombie apocalypse.
Are you okay? The Walking Dead was written and even released years before that game game out.

The last of us infection is actually real in real life with ants it’s called Ophiocordyceps unilateralis also cordyceps as well like the show but humans are safe it mainly infects ants and other insects such as spiders
Watching the finale without seeing the journey getting there your doing yourself a great disservice
i really recommend watching all of this show, i genuinly dont think any other zombie show will ever top it

Definitely recommend a watch of the whole lot since you're a fan of the genre. The first six seasons epcially were pretty amazing

The secret of a show about zombies running for 11 seasons is the fact that "the walking dead are our only enemies" was not true for the duration of this series. Other people were by-and-large the biggest threat throughout the series.
Rick once said "We are the walking dead" as a reference to how they all lost what used to make them human along the way.
Hearing daryl say "we aint the walking dead" is somewhat hopeful of a better future
Wait, you didn't like the finale? I thought it was an amazing way to end the series, pretty much every main character had a moment and came full circle. I guess you just won't get it unless you watch the rest of the show, it's definitely worth it though. The best show of all time in my opinion, even counting seasons 7 and 8
You also gotta keep in mind that he is just blindly watching the finale with all that he’s seen of the show is just the first episode. He knows none of the context of what’s going on or anything like that, makes sense why he wouldn’t like the finale.

Ah yes, 177 episodes in a single day… a record for sure! That being said, there is no better show out there than this one. It’s so different from all others! Now it does take a dip in season 7-8, but holy hell was this a masterpiece! 7 shows in total within the universe- there’s no doubt this series held 10’s of millions of viewers!

@@lucio2908 dude, I’ve been a hardcore fan since the start. I follow all shows and even the comics! You gotta be honest with yourself, the budget and writing were impacted heavily in quality. That being said, I still enjoyed the two.

you’re honestly doing yourself a huge disservice not watching the whole show, and especially spoiling the ending for yourself. some of the best characters and character arcs in all of media live within this universe. i’ve never had such an emotional attachment to another group of characters like i do with TWD. seasons 1-6 were top tier with 4, 5, and 6 being the show’s peak. this was when it was named as the most popular tv show in the world. 7-8 dropped off a bit due to the shitty showrunner but then 9-11 picked back up and it was almost just as good as it was before. amazing characters, amazing stories, an amazing universe. people dismiss it as just being a zombie show but it’s so much more than that, it’s always been about the characters and their stories in the universe and how they survive and get by - the zombies are just the setting. the title “The Walking Dead” does not just refer to the zombies, but to the survivors too.
watching the ending doesnt spoil anything. The last 3 seasons of the show are completely different and suck anyways
@@TvConfusionn uh, yes it does. it spoils which characters make it to the end, Luke and Rosita literally die in the episode, it spoils that Negan killed Glenn and Maggie had a son, it shows that Richonne aren’t with the rest of the group and they’re coming back. it spoils a ton of stuff lmao, and it’s your opinion that the last three seasons were bad but a lot of people don’t think they were 🤷🏼♀️

One thing about The Walking Dead is that the concept “Zombies” doesn’t exist in its world. The characters have no idea what a zombie is, that’s why everyone has a different name for the Zombies, mainly they call them “Walkers”.
Walking dead is worth the watch seasons 1-3 are top tier 4 and part of 5 are really good 6-8 are a change of pace but still good it drags in some spots but great in others
That crawler has its own spinoff episode same with the don’t open dead inside hospital
The problem with this is that most of the long term characters in this show aren't introduced until episodes 2 and 3. Just watching the pilot, there is literally only one familiar face and it's a short cameo from Rick who has been gone for over two seasons. If you'd watched a little longer you'd at least have Daryl and Carol as familiar faces. Even Glenn being namedropped means nothing, because we don't know the name of the guy on the radio.

Yeah, you are really missing a lot of content leading up to those speeches. And the filmography has had its ups and downs with this show. For the most part, it has been amazing. The last episode, they focused more on storytelling. I think you would actually enjoy TWD if you gave it a shot.

you asking negan how he could kill glen is actually gold. the question we all had 😭 the fact is he killed glen for something someone else did to make it hurt more so the person who attacked negan always has to carry glens death with them. it was verry shocking and traumatising 🤣🤣 it’s crazy the way glen was everyone’s favourite but it was eventually negan 😅 i feel like something went wrong there💀 the way we’ve all learned to forgive him after watching the whole show but you who doesn’t even know the character doesn’t 🤣🤣

@@Rickyyy_374 10 is mid but then dragged down massively by 5 of the 6 bonus episodes, and the pacing is mediocre at best.
6 is very meh upon rewatch due to its inconsistency, and the loss of the tension once you know who negan is. for every no way out or JSS in that season there’s an always accountable or an east. 6B is pretty good though.
@@ballanceproductions1712 imo 6 there is nothing wrong with 6.. all though there were a few parts in season 10 that I didn’t like. Like the extra 6 episodes. Most of them sucked.
I thought the last episode was bad. Good in terms of what happened but bad in terms of quality. Bad writing, bad directing. It was weird.

dialogue is dialogue, you have better understanding of dialogue if you know characters, but doesn’t mean it’s still not there.
