  • From the eighth season finale: S8EP22: Colorado Roulette
Blake thanks Steven for helping Adam rescue the baby. Steven asks Blake to look after Adam and give support him in the future. Steven says that Adam has the potential to Run Denver-Carrington for Blake someday. Blake asks Steven if anything’s wrong. Steven just says that he and Adam are lucky to have Blake as a father. Struggling with the uncertainty in his life, Steven decides that he needs to leave Denver and regroup. To that end, Steven pens a letter to Blake explaining his need for distance and leaves Denver.
Note: This was Jack Coleman’s final scene in the original Dynasty. For the Reunion, Al Corley returned to the role of Steven Carrington.

It is always better to leave a letter and never speak to anyone when you leave.

Steven no se tenía que haber ido nunca de la serie, salió Steven, Amanda , Dominique ,Kristeen y otros más secundarios como Ben.

Yeah, don't let the door hit you on the way out. And oh, if you see Al Corley around anywhere, send him back will ya'?

You must not have liked Jack. Out of all the recasts they've done on this show, he was the best replacement and at least they explained why Steven looked different. With Fallon and Amanda, they just didn't care. But having Al come back made no sense given the surgery storyline to explain Jack's use in the role.

@@devontehuntley6274 You're right, I didn't, thought he was just OK at best. But I'll agree he was far better than either of the girls' replacements certainly

@@bkynbiker Okay, I'll take that. I will admit, he looked more "natural" towards the end of his run here. While an attractive man, Jack looked too "polished" for most of the show, which I guess fits when he's written to have had plastic surgery. Still, a suitable replacement for what it's worth.

Al Corey returning back in the reunion was nice after he was abruptly fired, but storywise it made no sense given they had Steven's appearance change because of the oil rig explosion. So how would he have gotten his old face back to warrant Al returning? That was rather a distraction for me then. -_-
