Hail to the thief is a really underrated radiohead album.

It's my favorite I think...I think. That's a hard call to make. But I listened to this album straight through like multiple times daily for over a year. Couldn't get enough.

OK Computer was released by EMI. Whereas In Rainbows was self published. That is probably why one got blocked on youtube and the other didn't. The band is more open to people sharing their music than the record label was.

Radiohead hasn't done anything since 2016, but the members have been active. For one, Thom made a movie soundtrack (Suspiria), a solo album (Anima) and an album with his new band with Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner (The Smile). I was at The Smile show 2 weeks ago and Thom said they were making a 2nd album. So, were going to get another The Smile album before any Radiohead. And who knows if Radiohead will ever get back together. Probably, but shit happens. I highly recommend Thom's solo work and his work with The Smile. He also had a band with Flea and a few other musicians named Atoms For Peace, which made a cool album. Their song Default is a classic.

@@Injektilo44 Yup. The Montreal show as well. Yeah, it was really incredible live. I was a few feet from the stage and Thin Thing live was as good as any Radiohead I had seen. What an absolute banger live.

The difference between OK and Rainbows being treated differently regarding blocking is not weird. Just do a quick search as to who owns the recordings. Not strange at all.

Hey guys..massive Radiohead lover here..but before you roll your eyes, just wanted to say that I completely acknowledge that many of their fans can be defensive and pretentious..I love how you guys are open and willing to give them(or any artist) a go, especially if it's something out of your proverbial wheelhouse, and I think as fellow music lovers, we all need to do that more. I hope you continue on your radiohead journeys and its different for everyone..but once they get in, I can almost promise they won't let go..hope you grow to love them, otherwise the world might stop spinning.. Lol xo

thom yorke and lead guitarist of radiohead( johnny greenwood) and tom skinner made an album this spring ,and its good. so if you want to check out some new stuff from them this might be it.
the band is called the smile and the name of the album is "a light for Attracting Attention"

I think part of it is that you are listening to everything out of order. It would help a lot with understanding their progression. Don't know how many people you'd get watching a Pablo Honey reaction, but then you would see they started as mortals. The Bends is an album I think you both would really like. It's more straightforward alt rock from the mid 90s, and live it is incredibly dynamic. Saw them for the first time live in '96 on that albums tour and was instantly hooked.

You all are great as always. It has been since 2016 when a really mature luscious string-laden masterful work "A Moon Shaped Pool" was released (LP9 to serious RH fans). I don't think you have done any reactions off of it yet and there are some really phenomenal songs on it. A great reaction would be the live version of "Present Tense: Thom Jonny and a CR-78." The 2 lead guys Thom and Jonny Greenwood the lead guitarist, synth player, and many more odd instruments and laptops and more, the more being a legit orchestral symphony composer of modern classical especially for films (he is top level film maker Paul Thomas Anderson's exclusive soundtrack composer since their incredible collaboration on "There Will Be Blood" and now Jonny has two Academy Award nominations for Best Movie Score and is one of the most sought after modern orchestral composers for film and just in general - not a bad side talent for your lead guitar player - this absurd run-on sentence within parentheses needs to end but to be clear is all referring to Jonny) - those two, Thom and Jonny did create a pretty awesome side project band during Covid called 'The Smile' with highly regarded jazz fusion drummer Tom Skinner from 'Sons of Kemet' so they have put out new music recently, most fans (at least myself!) expect a 10th (LP10) and probably final album - hope not the last but my gut feeling - in the next couple of years. I am going to join your Patreon, as aside from needing to see your Ok Computer reaction you all have your own unique lane in the reaction world which is big props to you. Much thanks!

Hey Ryan, as a hard core Radiohead fan I love hearing your opinions, but like any band, Radiohead have their fair share of twatish fans 😂
With each of their albums it took me a few listens before I really got into them. Some of my absolute favourite tracks are songs that I initially wasn't sure of. Looking forward to hearing more of your reactions.

Yeah Radiohead don't really have the BPM for working out to, I'd recommend The Prodigy for a workout, (the British band, not the American rapper) or the lesser-known Hybrid who are really excellent at producing music for getting stuff done to.
