Imagine a feature film "Vader" which goes into Vader's backstory and flash back to important turning points (unseen in prequels) for Anakin which leads to being a Sith. I would like to see more Vader dueling and taking the front lines.
I think this is an interesting theory, however I think there are a few thing we're missing: 1. When Vader was burned, he was obviously belly-down. As a guy, I know it is sometimes painful to do so as your manhood is underneath your weight and completely covered. For this, I do not think him bursting into flames would have extended to this part of his body. Although his quadriceps do show patches of sever burns, there is still a lot of clothing around his crotch that were virtually unaffected by the spreading of flames. 2. Although I believe him bursting into flames would not have burned his manhood directly, we must acknowledge that the ground was very hot. If you've ever been around lava, the ground near the bank is quite warm. The same goes for the ground surrounding a bonfire. The heat did not come from just his legs catching on fire; so if he experienced any burning of his crotch, it came from the ground underneath him. I do not believe his skin down there suffered 3rd-degree, or even any burns past the epidermis. However, the heat of the ground was probably still painful and could have hindered his ability to have children. 3. The idea that his burns were barely treated is inaccurate. In Star Wars, there are often time lapses, and Vader's surgery is one of them. The scenes go back and forth between him on the operating table and Padme in childbirth. In the Revenge of the Sith novel as well as other legends sources, the surgery took place over several days. This included replacing Vader's limbs, installing life-support systems and inserting feeding and drug tubes. All must be installed properly in order for him to survive, however, he must have received at least some cleansing and burn treatment as well. Otherwise, infection and dehydration were inevitable. Though the movie makes it seem like the surgery happened quickly and hastily, it was a very serious operation in which Vader had to have received extensive burn treatment. Overall, I believe Vader's manhood is the only (semi) natural skin he had left after his injuries on Mustafar. Nonetheless, gret video, and a very interesting topic.

Shimo-Kun Well with legends and canon divided I can't really tell the possibilities anymore. But as they can simply replace a limb, eye or organ with a machine. Their Kolto tanks can cure them of most diseases, protect of infections etc. I'd say they're really advanced in this fantasy settings.

If he could do that, why didn't he apply the same technique to Vader? As a doctor of medicine with decades of experience and zero minute of experience with victims of lava burns, I think Vader's survival and so survival of some skin on his body is miracle. But from what I know, there is basically zero chance for his manhood. This video gives some great ideas that help flesh out the extent of Darth Vader's injuries. My only problem with the results of his burns was that his nose was left in tact. I know that was done so as to not freak out the audience. But I seriously believe his nose would have been partially or fully burned off.
Even robotic equipment wouldn't be as good as real equipment. Not sure if Darth Sidious or Darth Tyranus had problems with their equipment, but Darth Maul & Darth Vader both seem to loose their equipment in a duel against Obi-Wan Kenobi. Obi-Wan doesn't seem able to kill Sith. He sees Maul 10 years after the duel. He sees Vader 20 years after a duel. Good thing he was knocked out instead of Anakin Skywalker when they fought Darth Tyranus, or another Sith would be walking around.

Imagine a feature film "Vader" which goes into Vader's backstory and flash back to important turning points (unseen in prequels) for Anakin which leads to being a Sith. I would like to see more Vader dueling and taking the front lines.

I think this is an interesting theory, however I think there are a few thing we're missing:
1. When Vader was burned, he was obviously belly-down. As a guy, I know it is sometimes painful to do so as your manhood is underneath your weight and completely covered. For this, I do not think him bursting into flames would have extended to this part of his body. Although his quadriceps do show patches of sever burns, there is still a lot of clothing around his crotch that were virtually unaffected by the spreading of flames.
2. Although I believe him bursting into flames would not have burned his manhood directly, we must acknowledge that the ground was very hot. If you've ever been around lava, the ground near the bank is quite warm. The same goes for the ground surrounding a bonfire. The heat did not come from just his legs catching on fire; so if he experienced any burning of his crotch, it came from the ground underneath him. I do not believe his skin down there suffered 3rd-degree, or even any burns past the epidermis. However, the heat of the ground was probably still painful and could have hindered his ability to have children.
3. The idea that his burns were barely treated is inaccurate. In Star Wars, there are often time lapses, and Vader's surgery is one of them. The scenes go back and forth between him on the operating table and Padme in childbirth. In the Revenge of the Sith novel as well as other legends sources, the surgery took place over several days. This included replacing Vader's limbs, installing life-support systems and inserting feeding and drug tubes. All must be installed properly in order for him to survive, however, he must have received at least some cleansing and burn treatment as well. Otherwise, infection and dehydration were inevitable. Though the movie makes it seem like the surgery happened quickly and hastily, it was a very serious operation in which Vader had to have received extensive burn treatment.
Overall, I believe Vader's manhood is the only (semi) natural skin he had left after his injuries on Mustafar. Nonetheless, gret video, and a very interesting topic.

Well with legends and canon divided I can't really tell the possibilities anymore. But as they can simply replace a limb, eye or organ with a machine. Their Kolto tanks can cure them of most diseases, protect of infections etc. I'd say they're really advanced in this fantasy settings.

Riad Haidar Cloning has been established as a very well understood science in Star Wars but then you might as well say just clone a new body dig out the new brain and just transplant his old brain into the new body, or if that's unfeasible clone a new body and cut of its legs and arm and transplant them on him. That's a rabbit hole that I don't think the filmmakers were willing to go down.
Well palpatine in the EU needed a constant supply of new clone bodies because they couldn't handle the dark side degradation, whereas Palpatine's original body could cope with dark side degradation way better.
So I believe that if Vader got himself a new dick the dark side would litteraly destroy it,.
I thought Palpatine tortured the Death Star's architect for his failure by repeatedly putting his consciousness into clone bodies to revive him. If he could do that, why didn't he apply the same technique to Vader? (these two reasons seems to be mutually exclusive though)

As a doctor of medicine with decades of experience and zero minute of experience with victims of lava burns, I think Vader's survival and so survival of some skin on his body is miracle. But from what I know, there is basically zero chance for his manhood. Being burned by presence of lava and having such internal damage...I can remember pathology practice and even if some of the tissue wasn't burned, then there would be no chance to save it. Maybe some erectile tissue and urethra could survive. I wouldn't be optimistic - look at the victims of ordinary fires (not lava Flow or chemical fire disaster) - it was his lower part of the body. Then the treatment was abominable and done wrong, so they didn't want to use futuristic medical technology to save him in the best condition for the well being of patient, just to save him to live.

This video gives some great ideas that help flesh out the extent of Darth Vader's injuries. My only problem with the results of his burns was that his nose was left in tact. I know that was done so as to not freak out the audience. But I seriously believe his nose would have been partially or fully burned off.

Even robotic equipment wouldn't be as good as real equipment. Not sure if Darth Sidious or Darth Tyranus had problems with their equipment, but Darth Maul & Darth Vader both seem to loose their equipment in a duel against Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Obi-Wan doesn't seem able to kill Sith. He sees Maul 10 years after the duel. He sees Vader 20 years after a duel. Good thing he was knocked out instead of Anakin Skywalker when they fought Darth Tyranus, or another Sith would be walking around.
