    Honestly I would just do 2 presses once for the front and once for the back. That way you are doing the card on top of the print each time, you should just have to use a tiny piece of heat tape to hold the card to the sub paper and the sub paper to the butcher paper so it doesn't shift when you move the press.

    Awesome I learned a lot thank you for sharing! Is it possible to make the bleed larger on the back of the cards so that way the transfer is not as sensitive to misalignment?

    why you cut the cards out?If possible I would leave them on your paper in one piece that way you just have to place the cards correct and the top page line up with the bottom page done.evtl make a paper jig for the cards and place it on top of the 1.card paper.then everything should be lined up perfectly always.great video.what heat press do you use and for what price you sell the finished cards?

    Another thought about the current bleed that you're using... would a cheap light table help you do the alignment?

  • @BigGuyCustoms
    @BigGuyCustoms Před 3 lety +10

    You should've cut the back to the perfect size. That way, you're not lining it up blindly.

    Always print 3/16 of an inch larger in Both directions and remember this while designing so you keep your design still on the perfectly placed on the card.

    does the print hold well on the surface with this method? I'm afraid that the ink can be easily scratched off.

    next time, use adhesive spray. It makes the process sooo much faster. Just hold the sublimation paper at arms length and do a quick sweep of adhesive spray. I get great results I by it from conde.

    Hi, I have a white design that I am trying to sublimation on the cards. After pressing for 380 F for 60 seconds, the white turned greenish. I tried playing with the time and even added another 60 seconds and it still remained the same. Can you tell me why? Thank you

    • @AngelBDesigns
      @AngelBDesigns  Před 3 lety +1

      Because you can’t sublimate white. There is no white ink. Anytime you see White in a design, it’s because of the white blank but if you have an all white design, you won’t get anything. You’re just burning your blank
