Hans smiled after falling into the water because the horse was watching, and as we learned from Tangled, horses are compelled to stop all evildoers they see.
That's actually a plausible theory, especially since tangled and frozen take place in the same universe (rapunzel and flinn can be seen attending Elsa's coronation)
Random fact about Flynn Rider (that I remember for some reason)
When they were making Tangled, all the woman who were working on the film were gathered into a room to look at pictures of attractive celebrities so they could (long story short) mash all of there faces together and BAM! They got Flynn!

When the trolls said 'Get the fiancé out of the way!' What if they meant that literally and used their magic to replace Hans' love with greed and the real Hans is in their crying and sobbing about how he truly loved Anna.

I think the creators basically said it didn't matter what the Prince looked like though: we fell in love with the character as a Beast, so anything other than that was going to be a disappointment. But I still feel like they could have made him...less ugly. His nose and eyebrows are way too big and his eyes just freak me out.

Uhhh, you didn't want Prince Adam to be ugly? I do admit the prince at the end looks a little off but really, if he was too handsome or good looking at the end, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of not judging a book by its cover? I personally don't hate nor like the way he looked as a human. He wasn't good looking nor ugly, so I thought it was an okay balance. It actually reminds me of a quote from Homer Simpson, "Yes, he is handsome in an ugly sort of way" XD lol

Honestly I'm sick of hearing about Frozen, don't get me wrong it was a great movie, I liked it. It's just people would never shut up about it. I knew all the songs by heart before I even saw the movie because the girls in my class wound not stop singing them.

I found Hans so predictable and wanted stab him face just for being created. I don't like him as prince, a villain, and as a character. He just felt forced and the only thing he was useful for was to create conflict with Elsa and Anna at the ball. I would've liked to know what his original plan was going to be since there was no way he could have known about Elsa's powers. He could have at least had his own villain song or a reprise of "Love is an open door" with a villainous twist at his reveal (kind of like Mother Gothel from Tangled). Hell the trolls and Olaf had a song. Other than him I love your list and most of my favorites are there, too.
As a prince, he is pretty bad.

I'd also like to add, I'm related to Prince John and the King of England, so seeing this film now just cracks me up. (Prince John was not really an evil maniac)

The moment Hans was introduced I was like:" Oh, yeah, that's the villain. Deeefinitely the villain." During the scene in Elsa's Ice Castle I thought:" Not a villain?... Naah, absolutely the villain."
Hans broke my heart. I really wanted him to end up with Anna. Still, he became even hotter to me when he revealed himself to be a villain. Oh yeah, I'd do him!

BTW, I actually thought Hans just started out as a good guy until he heard one of those dukes say that he'd be all Arendelle had left without the two sisters, then he decided, "Forget Anna. I wanna rule this kingdom." That's just how I saw it. But I could be wrong. Maybe he was planning to take over the kingdom all along but just acted really subtle about it. It's kinda hard to tell.
He tried to rule the kingdom all along because he has so many older brothers, he might never get the throne.

LewToons Hey I'd like to defend the writing by saying that maybe he's a good guy most of the time and that's why he's able to trick the audience, he's actually a pretty decent dude. The evil twist at the end is possibly a gut-reaction (And the manipulating during the song and wanting to marry her on first meeting) is all actually caused by an extreme amount of pressure put on him. He has HOW many older brothers again?
So yeah his "Evil" side is just the result of pressure and he wants to prove himself, he never loved Anna, and in the end he just decided to take the more evil route, simple as that. What do you think of my thoughts on this~?
Has anyone noticed that in "Love is an open Door" Hans never says the words "I love you"? He's still awesome and he's my favorite Disney prince, but just sayin.

Never thought of that. I know however that the line he sings, "I've been waiting my whole life to find my own place..." he gestures to Anna/Elsa's castle. Kind of a hint-ish to his plans I would say.
You are right, the Hans-plot-twist still feels for me like the writers thought: oh, wait, we still have some minutes left till the end, lets make a villain...but who?...the guy who won't get the girl! it felt for me like a filler so to say.

I remember when I watched Frozen and it was obvious that he was going to end up the bad guy I mean two male leads was a dead give away. But even more so obvious during his attempt to fake stop the guy trying to shoot her. You see it right before he does that he looks up at the chandelier runs over and forces the guys crossbow to aim right at it and shoot it down. I didn't want his villainy to be true, but the lack of true loves kiss cemented my theory at that scene and all I could say was "Damn Hans say it isn't so. Why was I right, but also it's truly genius"

Eh. I still ship Hans with Anna. Kristanna just feels so forced. The Fixer Upper song with lines like " get the fiance ( Hans ) out of the way and the whole thing will be fixed " doesn't help matters, and Anna's " Kristoff loves me ... " ? And yeah, let's go after Kristoff so he can help me break the frozen heart curse.
Please note I don't hate Kristoff, just dislike Kristoff/ Anna.
Hans/ Anna had way more chemistry, even if the writers are trying to tell us that Hans is just acting his whole way through. The boat smile proves that the writers just wanted Hans to be a plot-twist than anything else, so yeah, I'm team # bad writing.

Well, in my opinion it wouldn't really matter what he looked like after he became human again. We didn't build a connection with Adam, we built a connection with Beast. Adam is but a stranger to us, while we saw Beast grow to love Belle and change for the better.

I always liked Hans. He comes off as a charismatic sociopath, the kind of person who manipulates people into liking him and going along with what he wants. He acts noble and protective because he knows people won't rebel if he's a good king, or seen as one. He's so good he even charms the audience into liking him XD.

I kinda wish you made prince Adam (the beast) 1st on the list. He and Belle actually have a real relationship and do things to get to know each other better. All the other princes save the princess and live happily ever after. Same old, same old. Oh and I totally agree that Prince Adam looks wierd. P.S Flynn Rider as 1st? I didnt see that coming.
