I learned this song when I was homeless, I downloaded the song and played it while walking on the train tracks to nowhere. I felt the cold air, night skies and felt peace ✌ like it was ok to die, I carried this tune with me for the next 6 years of homelessness as I tried to work complete college full time and save up for an apt. I wish I could tell you all I made it, but a stroke of luck saved me from a life of misery. Today marks the 3rd year of not being homeless and I sang this song and I can still remember vividly walking along the abounded trains on the tracks

This song is beautiful but makes me feel kind of sad. When I watched the hunger games for the first time it was back when I was in year 7 and I was on my very first sleepover. I was with a group of school friends. We have watched every hunger games film in the cinema since. We're not all that close anymore sadly. I'm now in year 11 and they've just invited me to see the last hunger games on Friday. We'll be all together again, maybe for the last time. When year 11s finished we might never be together as a group again and even though we're not that close a group anymore, they got me through the first few years of Secondary school and I'll never forget that. :')
They sound like good friends, it'll be sad if you lose touch with them after this year =(

Anja, thank you for that comment. I lost my aunt to cancer just before Christmas last year and this song kinda helps me to connect to her. And your comment is a great piece of advice. The song helps me to know that she is in a better place with no pain at all.

This reminds me of growing up with my siblings and we were in a really abusive home, I was the youngest and whenever domestic violence would happen with my parents and the police were called, my siblings would always protect me and stay in my room with me until it was over. I bawl my eyes out whenever I hear this song.
