Been to their Paradise Island, Bahamas location twice, and I frequent the one in Niagara Falls, Canada -my home location! Jimmy Buffett is an awesome visionary, what a fantastic idea to commemorate his songs in a chain of restaurants and resorts!...One Particular Harbor is always on my mind! I love you, Margaritaville, and I will keep coming back often! :)
Hope to get to the one at the falls in may/June. Will be on the pearl mist cruising the Great Lakes. One of the stops will be Niagara Falls.
(I never thought I would see the day) I remember when Parrot heads were those weird people who hung out and partied in the parking lot after a Jimmy Buffet Concert. Now, Parrot head is a lifestyle.

I hate when stuff gets too big, like Ron Jons. I used to go to and eventually worked at the one and only on Long Beach Island in New Jersey. I also remember when there was the one and only Margaritaville in Key West. Not a bad cheeseburger! Now Margaritaville is too big and personally I think that's a shame.

I’ve vacationed at the Hollywood Beach resort 3 times and loved it. Also listen to the channel on Sirius and Pandora. Makes me feel like I am on vacation 😎
Been to the Myrtle beach one. The key west one, met jd Spradlin at the Orlando city walk (had my pic taken with him) I’m hoping to get to the farthest northernmost one Niagara Falls. But thank fully they opened the one here in jax beach.
My dad was a parrothead taking myself and sisters to two concerts... Now in 2021 my kids an grandkids can't wait for him to return to texas

Don't forget about Margaritaville Campgrounds. We have been to the one in Lanier Island Georgia and in Pigeon Forge Tennessee and both were great.
The food drinks are great,they know what to do to make you feel like your in the right places for fun.
My favorite restaurant at Universal. The Volcano erupting followed by Margaritaville can’t be beat.

It just occurred to me when watching this that Jimmy Buffett is even richer than I thought… I looked it up and he’s FILTHY rich 😶
The original Margaritaville is in Sandusky Ohio established years before Buffet's club's and has no tie's to Buffet's brand and now you know !
And Chi-Chi’s restaurants named their bar area “Margaritaville Cantina” years before he opened his Margaritaville restaurants.

Sorry to hear about your wife, the food isn’t bad, you just had a bad experience there. No need to label the whole “chain” as having bad food. I have ate at 5 different ones for a total of about 20 times and never had a problem. I totally respect your opinion though. I’m a little crazy for Jimmy, I have been to 23 or 24 concerts.
It just wasnt my wife. Friends of ours took thier whole family to one and they got sick.
Another friends parents went there and also became ill.

The one's in Phoenix and Honolulu failed. Horrible food and service. Ate at the Phoenix one once and vowed neve to go back. I also stopped by the one in Turks and Caicos. Nothing special. A handful of people sitting around the pool drinking with rap music playing. These are really for the hard core fans who want something special I guess.

I met Jimmy Buffet at Daytona Airport when he was touring Lawton Chiles re-election campaign. Got his autograph and photos . Seems like a nice guy. Doesn’t really promote anything environmentally friendly. Looks like WAY over developing to me. And WAY overpriced for your average Floridian. Look at the complexes compared to the surrounding communities and looks like there’s more to the untold story yet......

Not immature.
Been a parrot head for almost 40 years. It pains me to see the gross dilution of the brand. It’s become a cliché. Not a lifestyle. And not a nice cliché at that. I’ve been to a few throughout canada, USA and Caribbean. Over priced, horrible food. I miss the days of Margaritaville key west in the 80’s and very early 90’s.
They’ve ruined the brand and the “lifestyle”.
It’s just about making huge amounts of money now. That’s all.
