I love going on youtube and seeing girls that look like me, it's a great feeling.
Right
Ikr
a whole vibeeee
Yesss
Kiyo Prada has to be quality aa
Finally!! A girl with short/medium length 4c hair!!!!!
Period someone we can relate to
We literally have the same exact length and curl type!! ❤️
Yes!! It’s like we have the same hair
God bless, Jesus loves you and died for you all
@@annyms5092 and because Jesus died for our sins and rose from the grave on the third day if we believe in Jesus we will be saved
1) Mix half ACV/Warm water (warm water opens your cuticles and keeps the mask warm throughout application)
2) Add an oil! (the clay is drying! you need to add some type of oil to assist. any oil o fyour choice. I mix avocado/castor/peppermint
3) Never let your hair hair dry in the mask. It is drying. Use a shower cap and add heat :)! This will also create steam from the mask while under the cap keeping your hair soft and pliable
4) Follow with a deep conditioner for about 5-10 minutes.
Julisa Blair these were the tips I was missing! Thanks sis
Amena Orieso no problem love! Stay beautiful!
Amena Orieso I'm still using the clay and now gets very easy I just use as a shampoo and condition as normal 😁 it gets easier and easier where you can cut corners after your hair is used to it
✔
Julisa Blair how often do you use this?
Yep Bentonite Clay is the bomb! Aztec is my favorite brand. Its the only one I trust to use on my skin and hair. Glad you finally tried bentonite clay it has so many awesome uses!
NappyFu TV yes it is! Thanks ❤️❤️
Nappyfu over here coming through!❤❤
Ley go!
It dries out my 4c hair even if I add oils.
No problem hun!
When I do my Aztec clay mask, I make sure to add lots of conditioner and oils so that its not as drying. Also, if you are going to try this mask DO NOT comb through your hair while you have the mask on and even after you wash it out. Apply your most moisturizing conditioner to soften the hair. Leave it on for a couple of minutes and then proceed to detangle. I love this mask!
If I didn’t read the title I would have thought this was a relaxer bc of the thumbnail... almost had a myocardial infarction... but we bless God, ya curls looking juicyyy
Deburrito lol no heart attacks.
Lmao 😂
You a med student? I found myself doing this after taking anatomy. I was like “my hair is glenoid length” my dad who’s a doctor looked at me like I was crazy 😂😂
Sounds like a nursing student 👀
Myocardial...
Infarc- I'm out 😂
Cracked me up lol
Beautiful coils! My wash day is tomorrow I need this in my regimen!
Maybe you should try Rhassoul clay next
I'M BACKK 💪🏾 Have you tried this mask before? What's your recipe?
Chizi Duru notification squad. But no I haven't tried this. If it works, I will
the clay, acv, aloe vera gel, an oil and essential oils.
i have relaxed hair and i love it
Clay, ACV, Hibiscus powder ( I rehydrate the hibiscus in warm water to make a paste, then add it to the clay mixture). An essential oil or two to counteract the strong smell of the ACV.
Clay, Jojoba and Sunflower seed oil and acv and just a little bit of water since the vinegar stings like hell. Every once in a while I'll add aloe vera gel to it if I have some
sazana fadoju how's it make your relaxed hair feel? Also relaxed
How cute are you making sure we see your towel first, love it! Thank you for listing benefits, most people skip that whole part.
Yassss, I love this mask. I apply this to my hair once a month and my curls be poppin afterwards.
Love this mask after protective styling!! It isn’t as drying if you saturate your hair with water when applying. I like mine to be of a loose consistency so that it’s easier to apply and then rinse out. The curl definition is definitely my favorite thing about this mask.
Absolutely LOVE THIS MASK! I add peppermint oil and olive oil to mines. I split my hair into four sections, rewater the sections before adding the mask, then I even water my hair as i apply the mask because it adds great slip and that allows me to detangle.
I love Chizi’s tutorials because her hair actually looks like my hair! 😍
Me too!!
personally I think its the acv softening my hair instead of the clay. I use acv rinses when I take out braids to really get rid of build up and its always super soft after.
yes!! if i wasn't for the damn smell i'd do acv rinses every wash day lol
snookiewhip
What's ACV???
Noni Chalant Apple cider vinegar
snookiewhip how do you get rid of the smell afterwards
@@alexxisgreen5458 I don't know if you've figured it out by now, but to get rid of the smell all you have to do is rinse it out. I've started using acv rinses instead of conditioner after shampooing and once I rinse it out, my hair smells like my shampoo. The acv smell is completely gone and leaves my hair feeling super soft
WOW!!! Your hair looks shiny and soft!!! Thanks for sharing 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
I wss using it for my face the whole time & never knew it could be used on my hair. I definitely just tried this. thank you so much.
I am so jealous of those beautiful curls. I was born with peach fuzz and didn't have real hair until I was two. At that point my hair kept growing but it never matured into decent work with-able hair. It is straight as a stick and so fine that when I pull it back and braid it, the braid is only about 1/4 inch wide. I've considered going in for a weave but I think it would just fall out! Love your hair. You don't know how lucky you are!
❤️
💚💚
💛💛💛💛
Next time put peppermint oil in it, trust me I put some in the mask and OOUUU GIRL MY SCALP FELT SO TINGLY🤩 also I put some olive oil and water in it too so it wouldn’t be drying and it wasn’t, it went on really smoothly
Cathy I heard it clogs sinks and stuff
Then basically sounds exactly like jewelliana palencias routine
Cathy can we add castor oil ? Please
@@neissajules1055 Yes, any oil actually.
YES... I love this stuff for our 4C curls!! I put a plastic cap over to keep the moisture in and from it getting hard.. maybe try that next time.. the curl definition afterwards is amazing! .. thanks for sharing please update if you try with an oil.
Good tip
You can even do this with a steamer for extra definition
Eyeona Binson look
Here to see what I can use for my next wash. Thanks for the tip but clay naturally tends to dry though (especially this brand when I use it for my face), how can one try to keep it not dry?🤔 I thought the point is for it to suck out all unnatural built up products to the hair and how can this happen of it doesn't dry? Just curious
Doing this tonight! Have had both products in stock for weeks and haven't decided what to do with them. Now I know. Thanks ❣
I use a mixture of kaolin clay, marshmallow root powder, hibiscus powder, aloe vera powder and purified water (my scalp is allergic to oil *sad face*). My hair is always soft, and, most importantly, detangled.
drmsd14 how can you be allergic to all oils?
Nakupenda wewe I don't know if it's every oil, but I suspected my scalp was having issues. It was confirmed that I'm at least allergic to something when I applied oil directly to my scalp and felt like it was on fire in a matter of minutes. So, like I said, I don't know if it's every oil, but I've been reluctant to determine if that's the case. My scalp has enough issues. For the time being, I'll just stick to my leave in that I try not to apply too close to the root, even though I want to try Naptural85's pre-poo in the worst way😫
Malcolm X's Daughter they might all have something in it that she’s allergic to in them
drmsd14 what's hibiscus powder and WHERE do I get it😧
@@sunshineramirez7766 powder from a flower, and anywhere you want to get it from online.
ok but look at her makeup 😍😍😍😍 it looks so good you’re so pretty
Chiziiiiiiiii this was an Awesome tutorial, i got great results when i tried it on my 4c hair, & i just posted it as my first video on my channel. Bentonite is definitely going to be a staple product for my detox days. Thanks again for such great tips. I love youuuuuuuuu
Besides apple cider vinegar, I add aloe vera juice, liquid fenugreek, liquid amino acids and oils. I also place a plastic cap over my hair and leave the mask on for about 45 minutes to an hour -- loooooooove it! Then I deep condition using my thermal heating cap! I do a clay mask monthly!
I normally use this on my face and kinda put some on my edges while doing that. Can't wait to try it on my whole head lol!
This is my "I'm skipping wash day mask." 😂😂😂 Your hair looks lush!
Your hair looks so soft!😊 i love bentonite clay🤗
czcams.com/video/rTGfaaVJ75g/video.html
Love this clay...i just deep condition or hot oil treatment afterwards instead of adding extra ingredients besides vinegar and water to the clay so it can do its thing.
You really helped I never knew how to make the mixture I’m going to try next thank you!
I love seeing girls with hair like mine. I just bought this clay and I can’t wait to use it 🤗
Where did you buy your clay from?
I use the bentonite clay mask on my hair often. I use it on dry dirty hair and wash it out as part of my wash day routine. My tangles melt away as I apply this mask as vinegar works as a natural detangler. I have been known to leave it in over night for max benefits. It clarifies my strands and cleanses my scalp. I love this mask and would recommend it to everyone. BTW, when I don't have time to apply a mask and my hair needs clarifying, I use a 2 to 1 ratio of ACV to water solution in a spray bottle that does an excellent job in a pinch. Followed by a quick co-wash and you're good.
I currently only use rhassoul clay, but I have always wanted to try the Aztec bentonite clay. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for your review. I’m going to try this tomorrow 🙂.
I use it once a week or once every other week. I leave it in for 45 minute to an hr then I deep condition my hair. I absolutely love it my curls clump and they’re more defined as well
I love the bentonite clay mask, my hair deep conditions so well after . I make my mixture kinda liquidy and maybe that will help with the detangling and dryness
Omggg i loved your commentary... I laughed so hard.... Im definitely subscribing and now i know to leave the mask on longer cause i would have been scared too😂😂😂
I randomly googled how to use this hair mask and it’s Chizi video that’s popped up first! Had to watch 💜
Straight to the point. I luv it!
I'm going definitely give this product a try!...Thanks!
Yes I definitely added an oil of my choice. Lavender oil and bought a whole collection of other oils that are different. My second time doing this let’s try it
My mom turn me on to this stuff. I've used it twice and have noticed a huge difference in how my hair holds moisture. It has made it grow alot. Will definitely keep using it.
Sameeee
imagine being THIS beautiful!!! wowww
You’re too cute how u still pretty with all that clay in your hair! I uploaded 3 videos on my channel using this clay mask on my scalp, underarms and full body but not my actual hair! I keep seeing everyone post how it’s so good for your hair I think I might try it n let it be my next uploadv🙌🙌🙌🙏 thank u for sharing ♥️
BENTONITE CLAY IS BOMBB!! when i don't have it it drives me crazy lol glad you finally tried it! its a must have for everyone!
Your hair looks so good!
I love using the clay on my hair!! I use aloe vera juice instead of ACV and water though.
Brittany Elle glad I came across your comment, so that means I don't necessarily have to use ACV??.....
Michelle Gomez No, you dont have to. The only time i use ACV with the clay is when I’m mixing it for my face.
Brittany Elle Okay thanks...
One of my New Year's Resolutions is to revamp my hair care routine for the Winter, so maybe I'll be adding this to it 👀
Your hair has grown so much!
This clay works magic. Thank you for this video👏👏👏
I had to sub to you. You are hilarious and your personality is awesome. Look forward to more future videos 😊
MY HAIR TEXTURE !!! FINALLY A TRUE 4CIAN 🤣😭😍❗
I love the editing on this video, chizi!
Thank you! Want to step it up for you guys
Yes I have bought it and I haven’t even used it yet so I’m just watching videos to see because I really really want to try
❤👌🏽Looms sooo good that moisture! I was scared as well when I tried this for the same reason😂 but I let it ride...oh yea I let it sit for awhile then added a shower cap before if dried all the way...it keeps it moist. 😉
Your hair is so pretty!
.... so beautiful hair and haircut, love it!
It looks so bouncy, I def have to try!!
When I put it in my hair the consistency is thinner so that it is easier to distribute not as thick as it would be if I used it on my face. It dries quicker when it's that thick as well. I spray my hair with my aloe and essential oil mix (aloe vera is ph balancing and my hair loves it!) prior to application of the mask. I also cover it with a plastic cap to keep my hair moist and avoid the mask from drying out too much. I leave it in for at least 20mins and follow up with a conditioner or deep conditioner. This method never leaves my hair feeling stripped even before the conditioner.
I cover it with a plastic bag so it doesn’t get dry! I also add olive oil and a little tea tree oil too and it’s amazing!!
I 💗 Aztec as well!! Awesome Video 💗
Wow you can see the softness
I use a tint bottle to make the process easier when applying to my scalp and hair. Works sooooo much better.
When doing this at home, don't move/poke the dried clay mask - that's when you really risk breaking your hair.
Yo makeup been on point sis!!!
Have you ever tried the hair mask with Moroccan red clay? Apparently it gives slightly different results and is a bit more moisturising than bentonite. If possible could you make a video on it?
I've been wanting to try this mask.. I will definitely order it .
Your hair is soooo bouncyyyy! I just cut my dreadlocks off #freethecurl It’s tough since my hair is so short now, I’ve got a twa, but it’s a learning lesson. My first wash on my hair felt SO DAMN GOOD! I had a dry scalp, but it has went away since it’s way easier to wash and oil my head and hair. GUYS if you are just starting out like I am and have super short hair, I recommend getting a “curl sponge” not sure what it’s actually called, but it works wonders. I even tried a regular dish sponge just to see and that works too, just make sure it’s clean! Much love from me 😘❤️👏🏾
You are so gorgeous. You literally glow
A hair video by a woman of color with 4c texture that is under 5mins... you are indeed the goat!
I DID THIS JUST THE OTHER DAY ON MY TRANS HAIR AND IT WORKS SO GOOD
That's a new idea for natural hair. Wow!!!
Hmm, this seems interesting. My curls never clump unless I have product in my hair. Does the clumping lasts after you rinse it out?
I add oils and aloe vera juice to the mix to avoid that dryness. Also after I saturate my hair with it I spritz aloe vera juice all over and then cover with a plastic cap to keep it from drying
I've watched several of these videos so far because i'm trying to see if you're supposed to apply it to your scalp. do you know if you can? or do you follow up with a moisturizing shampoo once you've applied the mask?
It doesn't need to be left on for 30 min. Its best to do in a shower to keep it from drying, this is one product that you don't want let dry on your hair. After applying it put on a cap to prevent it from drying
The way she was putting it on gave me anxiety but I do use that clay mask on my hair and it really works!! My curls have never looked better just ordered a new can last night😁😁😁
The only clay video that made sense to me as I am 100% Naija like you. Thank you
Yes girl its popping for the face also
you are literally so beautiful
Great review! As far as portion size, how many times do you think you will be able to use the mask before you repurchase?
You are literally so gorgeous 😍
Wow, your hairs so healthy!
I love using the mask on my hair it made my hair so soft but when I did mine i also put some black castor oil in there because I was so scared it’ll dry my hair off and it made my hair sooooo soft
Do not let it dry!!! Put a shower cap on. If u let it dry it can be hard to wash out.
Bianca Wagner I mean what's the point of not letting it dry? It's a mask.
when you put it on your hair you don't let it dry
kakashi tsunade Its not the same as putting a mask on your face
*Absolutely let it dry* I let mine dry all the time. Mix something very moisturizing in it if youre afraid it'll dry ur hair out.
Add a bit of water and it rinses right out. Like she said.
You're so pretty!!
Your hair look so smooth wooow 😍❤
This is such a great video!!!!😩❤️ what Camera do you use?
I just used this today, left it on for 35 minutes while under an thermal cap. It didn’t dry so when it was time to wash it out it came out easily and my hair was so shiny
ur so fricken pretty and i can’t get over it
I love how thick your hair is♥️ what do you usually do to make it so thick? I know it’s naturally that way, but it looks so healthy!!!!!
you should try rhassoul clay... I'm able to detangle my hair so well with my Rhassoul and apple cider vinegar mix
Chizi is such a beautiful🍫🍫sister😘😘💜🤗❤
You should always keep your hair moist while applying the clay to hair. You should have had a spray bottle to keep hair moist. It's very important not to let the hair Lose it's moisture and dry out and harden the hair as this could cause breakage. Other than that the results were amazing. Good job.
Omg you are so beautiful😭😍❤️
love how short your videos are!
You are so pretty Chizi wow!
I'm going to try this out !
Your hair is really pretty.
It does a good job at stretching your hair too
She looks gorgeeuussss❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍
