Bridesmaids (2011) SYNOPSIS: Annie (Kristen Wiig) is a single woman whose own life is a mess, but when she learns that her lifelong best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), is engaged, she has no choice but to serve as the maid of honor. Though lovelorn and almost penniless, Annie, nevertheless, winds her way through the strange and expensive rituals associated with her job as the bride's go-to gal. Determined to make things perfect, she gamely leads Lillian and the other bridesmaids down the wild road to the wedding.

The thing is, it was for two best friends. So Helen wasn’t a villain. Maybe she just loved too much?
Love when Annie and Lilian sing the song together, they make it funny but it sums up their lifelong friendship and it's relatable having moments like that with old friends while reminiscing. Love this movie, and this Wilson Phillips classic 💖
I always laugh at their performance. And exactly as you said, it really shows these two know a lot about each other and have been through a lot.
When everyone is outside on their send-off, Annie is in the crowd, letting everyone else have their moment with Lilian but you can see she wants to be right up there next to her. And when Lilian is about to get in the car and she looks around the crowd, when she spots Annie, you can see her eyes widen and her smile beams, and you can see in that moment that their lives are changing, and they will grow apart, but they will always love each other and will always be there for each other, no matter what happens in their lives.
That is one of my favorite moments from the film.

Did you even watch the movie? Andy Buckley isn’t just an extra, he plays a legitimate character in the movie: Doug’s Boss/Helen’s husband. Hate to burst your bubble but this being the same “universe” as the office is impossible
