I saw some serious music industry website refer to Lindsay as the next "Queen of Bluegrass." Attractive eye candy female, captivating stage presence, mediocre instrumentals and even more mediocre vocals. All the ingredients for a pop-culture star. Sorry, not interested.
Sorry, I know the younger generation doesn't want to hear anything but praise and will call me a hater but Electric Lindsey is a major letdown compared to the Flatbelly era and dressing funny and dancing around is just camouflage for inferior music.
@@louisdemayo5264 she's well into her second decade as a performer, in my opinion it appears more like she is selling out to reach the masses by going for the "pop" music crowd, I guess it could be called growth except the music is inferior to the earlier bluegrass music she put out, I think she is one of the most talented singers around and used to tell anyone who would listen to check her out but no longer feel the same, drums, electric guitars, stage dressing and dancing around all put her best asset in the background.
I have to agree wholeheartedly with you on that. I only found her on You Tube during the pandemic so i have not listened to her as long as you. I thought with her EP You Thought You Knew that she was back on track, but I see I was wrong. It's a shame she is selling out because she is soooooo good. I hope she comes around full circle & sees the mistake she is making. In the meantime, my girl & I cover a lot of her previous work & never get tired of it. Ancient Oceans is amazing. We cover it & people love it when we play it out. I never saw her perform & once had Tix to see her, but she canceled saying she was sick then saw her performing live on Dees streams the next day. that bothered me too. It's like she never wants to play the east coast. Oh Well there's still her quality Flatbelly music. I stick with that! @@indianaslim4971
