Wow , who knew Mary Elizabeth Winstead could sing like an angel and play guitar like a god in addition to being the object of every pilgrim's affection? Lindsay and Molly do not miss a micro breath or nano beat in these covers and are geniuses for picking such incredible songs from one of the most underrated and underknown bands and albums in generations. I can't explain how much I love this. I've listened to the Operation Ivy version for 10 years. This is the greatest homage to Operation Ivy ever produced.
Years later I still watch this regularly. Lindsay's energy is fantastic. Discovered her on a live Billy Stings gig and was intrigued with her performance.
There's a whole bunch of talent on that little front porch. You two stomped this song. and that flat picking solo....sheesh. Awesome job and also I heard your cover of Olympia WA yesterday at walmart. Yep I'm serious. Stopped me dead I my tracks. Had to immediately find out who this women was and what she is all about. I found a new treasure chest of pure bad-assery. Then today I see all these op ivy covers by the two of you and I'm all smiles. Woke up today feeling like I got shot at and missed but shit at and hit and now I'm all sunshine and rainbows. Thanks!

Operation Ivy was a very influential band in its short two years. (It still is, 31 years after they broke up) Their lyrics are quite powerful if you dig into their other songs. Very positive, on many of them, socially and politically conscious, and ahead of their time.
I've seen a number of Molly's performances on You Tube and she's seems contento with Lindsay. I say these 2 need to keep working on their game together. Maybe try to align seperate bands on the same tour where they can perform together. Keep working on different angles until you strike, because you don't see 2 musicians compliment each other so well on a regular basis.
Just have to say you two should be touring. Amazing guitar but I really like the senergy between the two of you. And while your music is great alone I think there is a market for blue grass punk. Trampled by turtles is a good example. Wow!
