I am a musician from Toronto! I like making music and building+experimenting with cool guitar effects. I share bits of guitar advice and philosophy with those looking to level up guitar playing and music creation. I also enjoy building up smaller artists with my indie artist feature series and curating Spotify playlists to spread their music/other music I enjoy. For this song, fuzz. But usually distortion all the way!

The overdrive and distortion sounded like the dry tone after a light sprinkle but the fuzz sounded like heavy downpour

In this exact case the fuzz is best but just changing the settings could change what's the best here its all about context for the particular piece of music as a whole

for some reason fuzz always sounds really good when other people play, but if i use it it sounds like my cable is rusty or something
