The day after the Seahawks playoff loss that season I was in the car on the way to school with my best friend and his dad and his dad said "boys take those memories of RG3 and store them because he will never be the same again" and boy was he right.

i'm telling you, once bruce allen is fired and/or snyder sells the team, the stadium will be packed every game. DC at heart is a football town, damn I miss these RG3 games though. I went to 6/8 home games that year, including this one and the week 17 game vs the cowboys. Still get chills from RG3's run and like 90,000 fans singing "hail to the redskins" after we clinched the NFC east. Technically my skins are still in the playoff race this year though haha

He had really bad concussion issues i think. He was one of my favorite players back then
The thing that I'll remember RG3 for was his play-action fakes. He was the best I've ever seen at faking a hand-off. Had he and the coaching staff taken better care of him, and not used him as an alt running back, I think he could've been something really special.
I miss RG3, it sucks to see that when he got Injured vs the Steelers/waived at the end of the year people only cared that Trace McSorley was now able to play/be back up. Kids don’t know how good this guy was

I have been a wft fan for 50 yrs. This guy gave me goose bumps. I watched this game. When he scored that 74 yrd touchdown dallas fans became very afraid. Oh well it was shortlived. RG3 is the greatest rookie ive ever seen.
2 things: You can see how RG3 got 2 devastating knee injuries...he tried to always do too much on the scramble. It luckily worked well at that game. 2nd...look how Kirk Cousins is the most unimpressed person in the stadium at RG's TD run @13:10

Jarred allen was a monster with the kansas city chiefs, but his best years were with the Vikings.
I’m not a Redskins fan. Go Eagles! But when they drafted RGIII I thought for sure the Skins would be giving us headaches for years to come. Sad how his career got cut so short by bad coaches and an owner who has no idea what he is doing. If there is one team in the NFC East that I wouldn’t mind seeing in the playoffs besides the Eagles it’s the Redskins. So many great games between these two teams.
Rg111 orchestrated his own demise. Insecure and entitled was his down fall. I was excited by his athleticism but he wanted too much to be something he wasn’t. And it never worked out with numerous opportunities
I loved Alfred Morris his rookie year! Sad he couldn’t keep it up.

Watching this makes me so sad thinking about what RGIII and Morris could have done for my Skins if RGIII played smarter and didn't take so many big unnecessary hits as a rookie, but man did I enjoy watching him play especially that Thanksgivings Day game when he absolutely TORCHED the cowgirls! The memories at least make me smile.
RG3 became a star in week 1, when he beat the Caints on their own field.

As a Redskins fan ya'll don't even know how important this game was to us fans!!! Sooo many years of being either horrible, or being horribly mediocre was just demoralizing. And specifically that run at 12:32 was like a lightning bolt of much needed energy and hope!!!! There probably hasn't been that level of passion and electricity since before I was born during the 80s when the Skins won two Super Bowls.
What an exciting time to be a skins fan. We will get back there, I think Dan is trying .

I was at that game.. I don't think I've heard FedEx that loud as when RG turned up the sideline and was racing to the endzone. It was an electric atmosphere for sure. One of the few happy times leaving that stadium after a win LOL.
Most times they lose when I go watch them.
This was a fun game and fun season for Skins fans. RG and Kirk Cousins both gave us some great moments I will never forget.

I was at this game. The funniest part was how I got the tickets. My orthodontist was a Washington fan and her office was given away 4 club level tickets to this game in a raffle. I, being a Ravens fan, upon seeing the ticket raffle said who would root for Washington? They suck. So she eggs me on, saying I should just sign up for the raffle. So I did, thinking nothing of it. Of course, whether its karma or irony, I won. My next door neighbors were massive Washington fans so I took three of them (mom, dad and their son, their two daughters were away at college) to the game while they let me borrow a jersey. Was so much fun and the place was going nuts after RG3's run.

I’m telling you man had he been durable and never had those injuries this guy would’ve been a superstar. He was just too good his first year. I seen every game that year and man was he amazing. Damn injuries man smh. 4.3 speed, cannon arm, accurate, had poise, and his confidence was through the roof. Led the skins to 9 wins in 15 starts. Now we have Kyler Murray, and Lamar Jackson balling but he was those guys long before they came on the scene. Not to mention he was a monster in NCAA 13, Madden 13, and Madden 25 lol.
