- Back at it again! turning fuel into noise! in this episode we combine 3 different Honda clones from all over china to all sing along from the same hymn sheet!! and boy do they sing!!
I must say what you accomplish in a small homemade shop is totally amazing. My 2 teenage sons have got off the computer and video games and are puttering around in the garage because they watch your channel and and try to do things with regular simple tools and have a blast even if they fail at what they do, they are trying. Keep it up because you are getting people outside to do stuff instead of sitting around.

Imagine doing that same type of build with 3 twin cylinder 670s ?? Could probably power a sick off road vehicle on 3 , 670s ....
The offset timing did well for counter balancing when he revs up and I'm sure will aid in power being smoother. One suggestion depending on your plan of use would be to put a sprocket on the union of each of them connected to a jack shaft off to the side. You can increase your final drive axle to more appropriately handle the power your making vs using the output shaft of a single engine . I don't think it will handle the power without breaking.
good point
You're probably right and what will happen for sure is the flywheel key on the output engine will shear... I did a double engine using the flywheel to couple the engine(s) together and that was an issue
These cranks are overbuilt even on clones, doubt you could break one.
It all depends on the application. The merry-go-round at the local park? Fling little shites off in a heartbeat, no problem. Light weight drag bike? A bit sketchy, but prolly ok 4 promotions an, such. But repowering a tractor, or the like, break the power into smaller bites an, run it to a jackshaft.
Yep, you're close to triangulated Rod journals. I know, because it has that signature Geo Metro 3 cylinder sound. You should really fire them 132, if you're not already.
Hey, got a tip for you.
If you're going to use couplers between the engines, check out Kawasaki 550 jet ski couplers. They have a Rubber Biscuit in between them, they move in less than one degree total, and it really helps to smooth everything out, especially with misaligned crankshafts. They are extremely forgiving, and can handle an easy 50 horsepower each.
Spark no 3 is a bit late/ exhaust valve leaks. Remember to add fuel pressure accordingly. Those couplinks are very clever!
I'm dying to see the rest of your build with this. This video has given me so many ideas for similar builds. Great work here
Really amazing! Nice work! To be honest, i was waiting to see how far it would walk from balancing problems. You just proved one doesn't need 50 million bucks in designs and engineering to make something work and work well! I'll be watching to see if you can find out the horsepower on a dyno. Those couplings are a genius idea! Kudo from Texas USA!
Its great to see you back making stuff again, this is EPIC .
Sounds good! During half the build I was skeptic thinking this was just going to be 3 separate engines bolted to a frame next to each other. But after the addressing of the timing, I was beginning to think what's a multi piston engine other than multiplie engines put together. Quite the eye opener and rabbithole🤪
Arcdroid plasma cutter must be on the Christmas list! Nice work using what you got though!
Thanks bud gosh that would be nice!
Finally the wait is over ! Really looking forward to seeing this project build !
hey thanks man gd to hear from u. glad im not the only one up at 2am! lol
It's only 930 pm in the states where I am. 10/4/22
Everything was planned out wonderfully. Magnificent job lad.
youtube.com/@HityDesign
I did this with 2 engines and it was fun, I could change the sound based on the offset in timing. 360 degrees off and it was buzzy and quick revving like a parallel twin, 270 degrees off and it sounded like a v-twin and had a mean idle.
I like it man halfway through your video you're going to achieve what you want with what you have mad props dude
Thanks man! Old kit and scrap metal I do love a struggle! Lol
I’m ready to see more on this.
I have been dreaming of doing this with weedeater engine’s since I was a kid.
Great job love the sound
Remarkably little vibration. Remarkably loud noise. Great video.
Thanks man! Yes it's surprising int it!
This is all kinds of epic. More than earned my sub. Those couplings are genius. Can't wait to see it with manifolds and a turbo!
love the engineering and fab work on this. lovely stuff
I don't know how I never found your channel before, I don't have time to watch tonight, but this project is incredible!!!!!! Looking forward to seeing what else you have been up to 👍🏻
Cush Drive? What I mean, really, is you could use a disc of rubber cut from the sidewall of a tire like a rag joint on an old steering shaft, to couple to crankshafts together, which would give you a lot of flex and torsional strength and soak up any misalignments vibration and such. But definitely cool AF. Love those GX engines, they're bulletproof and so cheap.
Looks awesome, can't wait to see it torboed! 🤘
My vote would be to put it in a dirt drag racer type vehicle
man i am so stoked to see this engine build progress!!!
Great job! Happy to see you back!
The amount of torque this thing would have 😆
Good enough for a modded ultralight airplane.
@@mastersitorou8289 Would it have enough engie RPM for it? You think you would need to change the gear ratio to the proppeller? Or could you just change the size and angle of the blates to a more appropriate one for this setup?? would be awesome to see tho, a turboed Tripple Inline engine airplane 😁😁
@@mastersitorou8289 power to weight ratio wouldn't be good for an ultra light surely
@@tbagindustries4331 ppl strap these engines to their back for para-motors so yea it's fine... Not ideal but there's pros and cons vs something like a 2cycle
Ive seen a kart with two open animals on it.he was fast for a big heavy kart
Put the exhaust into the next engines intake. That'll be the real turbo 🤠
Awesome build. It's a interesting project. Like someone else recommended a different coupler from a jetski would help, from a safety standpoint. Love the build
Omg I can not wait for this build!! I love your ideas mate!
Thanks man! My neighbours don't! Lol 😂
@@councilhousecreations8035 lol you amaze me with your engineering skills. That little 4 wheel drive unit just is a work of art. Iv been a subscriber for a while now. I'm ready for part 2!
Maaan!! I hope you’ve been really busy in the shop!! I can’t wait to see what’s going to become of this beauty 💪🏼🔥🔥🔥🤣
Interesting build. The one concern I have is that all the engines are driving through the last engines crank and output shaft which was only built for the power of one engine, personally I would have put sprockets between the engines and run two chains to a countershaft - time will tell!
Hey bud how's it going? That is a concern of mine, one of many, but at the time I wanted to keep the engines as close as I could get them. Putting a sprocket in there would space them out a bit much for my liking, and even if u had a large sprocket to go over the coupling the chain would be going so fast and noisy. The worst part about it is the other two engines have the bigger 20mm style output shaft but the one on the end where all the power goes is only 3/4"... Doh!!! Only noticed when I was putting it together lol. Might put two uj's on the output shaft so it's only torque load it has to deal with, like the John deer's have, nd have a clutch further down.
@@councilhousecreations8035 Well - it's a project and projects are about making something and seeing if it breaks!
That's my first thought. Even if one engine is not running it would still be turning at speed putting extra load on engines that are running and there is really no way to harness all of the horsepower and torque out of all three engines the way they are set up.
All that being said it's still bloody fucking genius
I worked alot with gx160 engines, and did some tuning for kart racing, the crankshaft can hold surprisingly much. Its not optimised for performance so thats why there are performance aftermarkets crankshaft, but they should be plenty strong enough. The big end is a completely different story. Seen many engines like this blow up with conrods exiting the block sideways, valves snapping and punching holes in the piston while the crank was completely fine.
Hi my friend i have a Harley Davidson that is really souped up but the rear cylinder keeps destroying spark plugs but compression is maybe a bit higher than normal but rear cylinder keeps on playing up if you have any additional advice I would really appreciate it.
First time seeing your vids. Almost instant subscribe. Good music choise, good production quality and just overall in my opinion good content. Keep it up!
Im glad to see your not getting bored fella 👍🏼.
Hey man, how's it going! Just been so busy doing stuff good to be back on it tho!
Well done sir, everything worked out real well👍
This is brilliant! Why has no one thought of this
Absolut madness. I love it. Sounds sterling-esque on these tiny speakers
That sounds soooo sick! Awesome job mate!
Awesome job matey,it’s good to see you back with more madcap stuff.
You could build a mini rock bouncer, that engine would have the torque to through you up a hill fast
I like it!!!
@@councilhousecreations8035 So when is this going in a vehicle? Lol
That is so cool! Sounds mean too, I actually made a longtail setup with two of those motors linked together but it snapped the end off the crank
Good to see you back at it, your art has been missed
Quite glad CZcams recommended this channel to me.
Randomly found your channel. I love your workshop and content! New subscriber!
When we put two engines on a go kart essentially doubling the torque, the result is amazing. I can't imagine what the torque would be like with THREE coupled together like this!
Got my sub! Outstanding and fun project.
Amazing! I can't wait to see the progress! You should build a bad ass drift machine with it. Like a full rear wheel drive, either drift trike, or some kind of mini drift kart. Awesome job!
I can't WAIT to see what you have in store for us!
Such a good idea. So cool!!
Hello from Louisiana, It's great to see a new video from you bro. I like the concept ,and with your skill set, I can't wait to see the completed project 👍🇺🇸⚜️🔥🔥
Hey, thanks!
Now this is the shit I love to see. My fellow garage scientists hard at work.
This is mental!!! Love it 💪
When I see engines linked like this they are usually connected with Chain Coupling, also called a Double Sprocket Chain Coupler. A roller chain sprocket is attached to the front of the rear engine and the exact same size roller chain sprocket (The other half of the chain coupler) is attached to the rear of the front engine. When two engines are mated front to back the roller chain sprockets faces touch each other. Then a double roller chain is wrapped around both roller chain sprockets to connect the engines together. Repeat the process to connect more engines
that's bloody awesome!
One thing I noticed was when you cut the hole in the cooling impeller, you filled the whole intake with the coupling. It has nowhere to suck air from. Pretty cool project though!
Good job! Imagine a straight six out of these😎😀👍
Put them all on one crank pin with a master rod and you’ll have a baby radial engine.
Do it with 4 two stroke cylinders and they’ll all fit to one (wide) crank pin. That needs a blower to start but makes power when running. A turbo helps.
Oh hell yes thats awesome! Gonna be interesting to see how that ends up sounding with a three into one. Bet you with that low rev ceiling and pushrod design, this thing'll def be a torquey, if slow to rev engine. Might be more suited to offroad use or make a fun and weird drag racing machine. Though that turbo depending on if you can get it tuned right, might turn this from pretty rad to downright silly. Cant wait to see how this goes.
I like the home made dowdy with the copper and “o”ring👍 I often use the same!
This is absolutely amazing.
Outstanding 👏 that makes me think 3 224's would be ridiculous 🙄 😳
Dude that’s awesome I wanna see more
HA! Excellent. Maniacal in fact. Next stop, a v8 made with vanguard twins
Good to see you back 👍
What you should do, the correct way, is to triangulate the crank. V8 engines are triangulated crankshafts, except for Indy cars, which have the 180° crankshaft.( 180° apart from each other, in a line, creating two separate four-cylinder engines) If you look down a V8 crankshaft from the front, you will see that the journals are all positioned in the shape of a triangle, irregardless of which one fires when. The correct way to do it, is the first one fire @ tdc 0°, then the outside one fires @ 120°, then the middle one fires last, @ 240°. They do this to Virtually eliminate harmonic torsional vibrations. Think of it like this: press three keys on your piano keyboard starting with the left one, then middle, and then right, you will see as you go faster, it goes from left to right. This straight line effect, causes torsional vibrations. Now press first key , then last key, then middle key. Now the vibrations are staggered and mixed up in a more complex pattern, no longer going from one side to the other. Basically, it makes it smoother.
Or.....you could make a seriously vibrating, obnoxious thumper, keeping them all at 0°, lol😜👈
getting a bit confused there. a v8 with 120 degree crank offsets? interesting....
and a 3cylinder, it doesnt matter what order the crank is if its 120 degree.
it was a nice explanation with the piano keys, but sadly... leftmidright is no different to leftrightmid.
think it through...left rightmidleft rightmidleft right...
see it?
its just backwards. all you can do with three.
Awesome build and another great fabrication, I could watch you all day long , don't take this the wrong way But you are like the sensible version of Colin Furze 😀 👍 keep up the great work 👍
can`t wait for part 2
Ficou muito bom. Parabéns, que ideia ótima.
Fu"(ing... AWESOME...!
Great work once again!
Man thats some nice ark welds! love the way the grinder is for everything im exactly the same
hey bro thats way cool ,just a suggestion tie the exhaust together 3 into one might help it run alittle better or maybe not 3 into o e but if it goes into expabsion chamber then narrowz back down again gives it some back pressure helps suck in the fuel i think
I would love to see this on a custom reverse trike with a shaft drive rear swingarm
It's really great to c u man and its a great idea of even getting it turbo charged it will just rip on what ever ur planing to put on...can't wait to c it...
stumbled across this, new sub, awesome build bud
Even sounds like an inline 3, pretty damn cool
you have to balance all 3 carbs using an upstream vacuum source, it will run much better at that point
Nice build. It would really turn heads in a go cart.
You Sir are a madman!🤘
CANT WAIT TO SEE IT TURBOD
Funny… but Brilliant ! Congrats !
Finally someone did it I wanted to do this for the last couple years just never had the time to do it
Very cool, grins all round.
Thanks for watching and happy new year. Send me a text on telegram with the username above🔝🔝🔝 I have something for you.....
Amazing sound
As Jeremy would say, "More powah!"
Thats a cool project mate👌
Great and simple solution, it is better then do complex work and add 2nd or 3rd cylinder on same shaft in one engine. Thanks for video.
Love it how fid you join the shafts lol. Would love to see you do 3 v twins for a v6 wow be the first. Or a 4 pot cross plain crank set
Good job. I love it.
Great..
Cool 👍🏻 I like it 🤟🏻
one 212 no exhaust sounds like heaven loud as hell that prolly sounds like a plane in person
👏 *selamat.. ditunggu episode selanjutnya 👌*
That's crazy awesome
Nice work
That would make a great go kart engine , plenty of power for the bottom end
That’s awesome 😎
Awesome Video
Just found your channel...subbed right away...amazing detail and craftsmanship!
Hey thanks man I appreciate that!
@@councilhousecreations8035 absolutely. I loved seeing your thought process and even the lathe you were using. I almost thought it was home made haha. You could make yourself a fun little longitudinal mounted dragster or rock bouncer I bet.
Nice 🙂 and it sounds pretty good too
Dope, now throw it a cart!
Right up my ally this
Build a hot rod ladder chassis buy or build a tot rod body up front for everyone to see and have the pipes as ankle burners sorta like a t bucket hot rod
Love the sound of a triple would sound so much better with a full connected exhaust with a bike can on
Great job
Great video as usual 😁
"double thumbs up!!"
"cheers from dallas tx!"
smart mechanic
