Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Kong: Skull Island” reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts. In the film, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific-as beautiful as it is treacherous-unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.
“Kong: Skull Island” stars Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Oscar winner Brie Larson, John Goodman and John C. Reilly. The international ensemble cast also includes Tian Jing, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Thomas Mann, Shea Whigham, Toby Kebbell and Eugene Cordero. Vogt-Roberts directs the film from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, John Gatins, Dan Gilroy and Derek Connolly. “Kong: Skull Island” is produced by Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni with Mary Parent. The executive producers are Eric McLeod and Alex Garcia. Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures Present a Legendary Pictures Production, “Kong: Skull Island.” The film will be released worldwide in 2D, 3D in select theatres, and IMAX March 10, 2017, from Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Every time I see Tom Hiddleston at a Comicon panel, I think about the lukewarm reception he received at the 2010 "Thor" panel, compared to the hyped-up 2011 NYCC "Avengers" panel he was at, and then surprising Hall H as Loki in 2013. He's not only a sweetheart and a handsome man, but he's grown so much as an actor.
One of my favorite Comicon moments of him is in 2013 when a little girl brought him her grandfather's 220-year-old copy of Shakespeare's "Coriolanus" (he played the character on stage for a few months) and asked him if he could read a line out for the crowd. Afterwards, he signed the book and gave her a hug. How sweet is that?
He can also sing really well. Such multi-talent.
