Hi, all.
For this video, nirclips and I find ourselves seated at the back of a Wright Eclipse SchoolRun which is seemingly about to burst into flames. We had originally planned to ride the 194b from Irvinestown to Enniskillen with a tight connection at Irvinestown from our Omagh cascade connection. However, due to every ambulance from the Western Health and Social Care Trust being out and along the Dromore Road in Omagh, we stressed out very much, which was not helped by the driver not guaranteeing to wait for us (he too was really behind schedule and not his fault to be fair, and he did actually wait for a few minutes to make sure we were okay when in Irvinestown and trying to shuffle to our next bus). Anyways, this video is proof of our onwards connection so enjoy all ELEVEN minutes of sardine can fun as we drive towards the Island Town. IRVINESTOWN SHUFFLE FUN
In 2006, Wrightbus launched the Eclipse SchoolRun; effectively an entirely high floor version of the Eclipse Commuter, bodied on Volvo B7R coach chassis. The Eclipse SchoolRun was mainly intended for school bus work. Northern Ireland bus operator Ulsterbus were the only customer to order the Eclipse SchoolRun, ordering 160 of the type in 2006. The first 110 were delivered with 66 seats in a high density 2+3 layout, including several removable seats at the front of the bus, which can be removed to allow the provision of wheelchair space; the final 50 buses were delivered with 62 seats and a permanent wheelchair area to save time in taking out and putting back the removable seats. The final Eclipse SchoolRun was completed in 2008.
