But the truth is also: it is a famous Song for Weddings - and this is probably the greatest Misunderstandings of Lovesongs ever... Because when you read the lyrics - there is no "beauty" in this Love here - "it's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah" ... and Leonard Cohen wrote "Love is not a victory march" ... and this is the Song so many People in Love chose for their Song, when they go down to the Aisle. Crazy!
I don't want to sing and perform this Song as a "Beautiful Love Song" - it should be intimate und not a beauty at all. "Cold and broken..." - Enjoy it anyways ;-).
