Hi. This video is almost without background music and talking. I hope you find it enjoyable. Instagram: jinfromjapan Email: contactjinfromjapan@gmail.com
You did nothing wrong there. Next time you can just friendly decline. I am turkish and even i wouldn't dare to go drink some tea with a total stranger in a closed room. That guy was really suspicious. It's not a problem if you walk past a cafe or little shop and the owner offers you a free tea, which is not uncommon. I like the fact that you traveled to my homeland without any knowledge. You gained an experience that no book can teach you. I hope you visit again when the weather is warm and nice 😄
As a Turkish person, please be careful when going to Turkey as a foreigner. There seems to be scams and some people there might be nasty, I apologize on the behalf of the Turks there.
6:47 - Dude, that's literally the Hagia Sofia. The most famous historical building in all of Turkey! You can tell right away by how old it looks compared to the other mosques.
Good that you acted upon your gut feeling. Traveling alone can be dangerous and you should definitely be suspicious when people try hard to get you to come with them. I'm glad you're ok! I love Istanbul, my family lives there. When I was a kid I spent couple of summer holidays there (5 or 6 weeks).
you noticed a lot of things that are sadly very common in turkey, and i like that, you were very honest in the video, i hate when people talk like turkey has no bad things in it, but im glad you enjoyed it, great video!
Hi jin! nice to meet you. just watched and subscribed your channel. i hope you can keep travelling and keep making videos in the future! i also happen to be from asia (indonesia) and currently live in turkey feel free to contact me anytime :) can't wait for part 2
Istanbul is a nice city, but there are a lot of tourist traps, especially the let's-have-some-tea scam. At 4:46 this is the Column of Constantine, build 328 AD, which makes it 17 centuries old. I hope you tried kokorech - the best street food in Istabul, in my opinion.
People is fishing at night because fish comes at 1 am like the istravits and the levrek and levrek is a sea perch I think it’s really hard fishing in Turkey tho really smart fish lol
Yes, I hope that many non-Muslims can adapt to live there because there they are also friendly even if you are not Muslim and they should also be careful. ,from malaysia
I don't know how I landed here, but this is such a nice video. If some stranger invites you and keeps insisting that you must follow them - don't do it. No matter what your gender is or which place you're visiting.. just decline friendly and confidently.
next time maybe try to make a helpful turkish friend like me first that can guide you around turkey so you wont get annoyed by creeps ~~ jokes aside, hope you enjoyed your trip. thanks for the vlog!
I want to ask you 4 questions as someone who wants to go to Japan. I speak English, but do you think I should know Japanese before I go to Japan? I already want to learn Japanese because it's similar to Turkish and it sounds so good. The second question is, would it be a shame if I tip at the shops I eat at? I'm used to doing it here but Is it bad if I do it there? My third question is here we usually say "thank you, have a nice day older brother/sister" to the shopkeepers. If I say it in Japan, would they think it strange? My fourth question is I'm used to talking to people I don't know here, for example, in a cafe on the street or in a restaurant. I know the Japanese are a little shy, would it be a shame if I did something like that? Love u ♥️
i heard a lot of Arabic noises and i'm disturbed..there are a lot of Syrian Refugees in Turkey and everyone calls us Arab because of them and i feel bad about this..
Lots of youtubers comin for street foods and all they do is ''hmm its delicious ... lets eat somethng else with insincere way :)" This format is more interesting with the commens below and i feel like u really alone here..anyway like it will check the others ;)
It was more lively back then. Now it's filled with strangers, overpriced food, annoying small businesses, scammers and lesser trees. Something weird is happened in there.
Bro I like your video I think it was a bit weird that u didn’t speak but that’s okay and Turkish people are not like Japanese or European we are much more ,,lively” and hot blooded if I can say it like that also turkey is not like other Muslims countries it’s a turkic country and has zentral Asian culture not European or middle eastern
