Q: How are you not getting a wanted star in Los Santos?
A: I do a glitch in the start of Drive-By where the mission's 0 star property gets stuck for the rest of Los Santos.
Q: Why is your wanted level flashing during Desert and Las Venturas?
A: I do a glitch in the start of Desert where I blow up the plane CJ uses to travel to different areas of the game. By destroying this plane, the game makes you stay stuck in the traveling cutscene that changes your wanted levels to 0 every frame.
Q: What was that thing you did?

Q: Why does this game feel different/faster/quicker/smoother?
A: There was a rule change 2 years ago that allowed the game to be played without the in-game frame limiter on. (25fps lock)
Q: What's a dupe? What does it achieve?
A: A dupe means to duplicate a mission and complete it twice in one instance to skip the next mission in the chain.

@@Wabner_Senpaialso. His mínimap have shitted itself completely because he performed skips I think using vigilante and pimp mission canceling or something. Any % runs look like this. But at the same time any% no major glitches is hour and a half longer, because they don't use those glitches
Idk why I can't stop laughing with speedruns, but this was the best, he sprinting exactly to his target, driving through narrow alleys recklessly, and skipping all cutsc3nes

In the beginning of the game during the Ballas car chase, you can actually make the ballas car despawn for the entirety of the remaining mission. To do this, reach the under-bridge area from where the ballas start chasing sweet and once the cutscene ends, go to the road on the right side. There you will see two ballas stading on the sidewalk and if you kill them, the ballas car will automatically despawn. Just wanted to give this little advice, this might save you some extra seconds in your next run.

It's good advice and it works for you casually, but in speedrun the problem in my experience is that you get too far away from the homies which makes them stop, plus they lose more seconds due to the cinematic.

it's been a while since i've watched this category, anywhere I can learn about the "Monster x8" split and the vigilante stuff? what effect does it have on the run?
Is this some kind of mission duplication where you start the trucking missions and then when you finish monster it counts those trucking missions as story missions?

Interesting that the cars feel so light with different FPS.
I remember playing without a frame limiter back in the day and it was the opposite - all of the cars were super heavy and handled like trucks.

all woozie missions are skipped with dupe.
Aren't there a lot of missions missing? For example the Zero mission where you have to shoot 4 driving targets with a remote plane. Or the mission where you have to steal the jet pack for the Truth?
And the shop mission u know what im trying to say😂
