Pre-ordered mine on launch day and they arrived yesterday! Looking forward to testing them out.
Can you tell me when this launch day was and which date it should have arrived. I just want to see if fanatec can ship earlier than the date they mention in order process.
@@M539 Black friday, 29 november I think, I got mine 27 january, so 2 months ish.
Received my load cell brake pedal yesterday. Its awesome
Pre ordered a CSL DD pro premium bundle Black Friday weekend. So excited, March can’t come soon enough 👊🤪👌🏁🏎
As an owner of the old CSL Elite LC's great first step towards LC pedals, lets hope that goes onto these aswell
Dang it I needed that guide 3 days ago! Thanks for the fast delivery i guess 😂
Wooohooo!
Im waiting for them with Premium bundle.
Regards to All Crew of Fanatec! ❤️
Pre ordered !! Waiting for mine
Received mine today, oh yesh!!
Sold out. Preorder: March 2077.
Zooming in helps so much. Thanks 🤦♂️
What's the best percentage on break force to use?
Will this kit fit the old csl elite pedals (the all black ones)? Or will it only fit the new csl pedals?
my load cell pedal fried my throttle pedal... it also has about 1/4 the travel compared to the one reviewed here. Still waiting on a response from fanatec 5 days later. apparently lots of people are having the same issue. Im now stuck with no pedals and no answer from fanatec.
I apologise for the delay, we're receiving a high volume of enquiries at the moment. The team will get back to you soon. Also please check your spam folder in case a message has appeared there.
@@domb_fanatec2826 can’t use my throttle either! I’m glad I spent thousands of dollars!
What did you do or what did fanatec tell you, i have the same problem
Same, spent almost $1200 and my pedals don’t work… it’s a joke!!
Same, my new loadcell got delivered today. Other one is cooked
@Fanatec Please bring an Official Connection Guide for LoadCell Brake and Accelerator only.
I ordered my CSL Load Cell pedals from Australia as there's no distributor in India and the Load Cell is faulty😭 it's flickering like crazy. I waited for months and now I'm so depressed. I really didn't expect a product of such a high quality to be faulty out of box.
Is the loadcell pedal still available? I was wondering when i read the comments cuz on the website it says: available march 14th
Hi Raphael, we try to keep the availability information on the product page up to date. If there is stock in the warehouse (for your region), then it will say 'Ready to ship'. If not, it will be on pre-order and the date shown is our best estimate for when the product will be available if you placed an order in that moment. We are continuously receiving new pre-orders, which means all of the units of the next batch could be allocated, so the availability date would therefore move further into the future (for when the following batch is expected). So we recommended that you place a pre-order as soon as you can, to secure your position in the queue and avoid missing the currently displayed date.
Are these compatible with the CSR wheel setup
Do you need to plug into a pc for setting up using a ps5?
When I install the LC onto the CSL pedals and wire them to function as clutch, brake, and accelerator, do I only need to connect the USB from the LC to the PC to update firmware on all three pedals?
I think you can just connect them to the wheelbase and update them via it's usb connection.
Wonder if they’ll ship early on the gt dd csl like they did with the dd csl. Would be nice to have it for launch of gran turismo but wanted the full premium bundle. Can’t wait to try these peddles out with the load cell
hope the same. Did also go for full premium bundle and can't wait to get it. Hope on or before 04. March
Me too, we can but hope my friends 🤪👌
I've got mine today, fully optional ☺
@@zienoowbrc-ggrc7444 GT DD Premium with LC & BoostKit or what ya got?
@@zienoowbrc-ggrc7444 premium bundle?
Why is it when I put the driver in . I dont get the combined box ? something doesnt seem right
Is the brake force adjustment available via the Tuning Menu on PS4/5? I.e. is a tuning menu even available on consoles?
Hi Steve, yes the Tuning Menu is accessible on consoles. You just need to use a wheel that has a Tuning button (which is every Fanatec wheel apart from the Podium Hub, which requires a separate Button Module to add this button). You can adjust the BRF value on PlayStation anytime, even while you're driving.
will the csr pedals work with this
The cable that connects from the load cell to the wheel base got chewed by my dog and now i dont have any working pedals. Support tickets dont work due to “Invalid form token” alert i keep getting no matter how many times i try. I cant solder the cable and people are saying that other rj12 cables dont work so I basically spent $1,300 just to have fun for 2 days and then not be able to send a support ticket.
Hello, I would like to know the size of the M6 screws (m6 x ??) for the pedal please.
Please check the Downloads section of the CSL Pedals product page. The Quick Guide, Manual, and Drilling Template have details about the type of bolt (both M6 and M8 bolts are used, please check carefully) and bolt length (this is dependent on the thickness of the surface you are mounting to).
So….does the throttle still need to plug into the pc? Or does it get the power from loadcell?
From load cell. For future watchers
Just got mine today . Anyone recommend the brake force setting ? I haven’t messed with it yet
BRF is about personal preference. Higher values require more force on the pedal plate and are therefore more similar to a real race car brake. Higher forces also tend to make it easier to train your muscle memory, but you need the pedals to be hard-mounted to something sturdy (and also have a strong seat) to get the most consistent feel.
Good day Fanatec,
I see a pattern here...with more people. So just follow the manual and still it destroys your brake!
I have te same problem (And I bought a second CSL set..because teire reaction took soooo long) and recieved this email:
----------------------
Dear Mike,
Thank you for your message.
Basically, the defect originates from an incorrect mounting of the CSL pedal with the Loadcell.
Due to the incorrect connection, the Hall sensor on the accelerator pedal is affected and can therefore not output any signals.
We can offer you to exchange the two CSL pedals. The Loadcell kit is not responsible for the defect and therefore does not have to be returned.
Please check during installation that the pedals are correctly connected to each other.
Please let me know if I may initiate your exchange.
--------------------------------------
But when I recieve my new set an connect again, the way it should, I would get the same problem I think!
The problem does seem to be the load cell, after receiving my new pedals it worked, after connecting the load cell it stopped working. the cables are properly connected, as in the manual and with the labeling on the cables. so probably if I get a 3rd set that becomes defective as a result.
Because when I changed back to the normal pedal. I still do work!!
And dont say to me...I need to make a ticket... Already done that. But i am even to afraid to connect my loadcell with a new set. (Its rediculess!!!)
I bought a secont set!!! Because of the bad support...ALSO BROKEN pedal again!!!
I can't update my steering wheel the message appears... click "connect" button.
how to solve?
do i need to keep clutch pedal if i have a clutch on the wheel? can i use with just LC break pedal and throttle?
You can use the LC break pedal and throttle without the clutch.
Hello, is there a connection guide for this? I would also like to only use the gas pedal and the load cell pedal.
@@meisterp1117 To use a two pedal configuration connect the load cell port of the load cell pedal to the wheel base/load cell port of the gas pedal.
Then connect the wheel base port of the load cell pedal to the wheel base, or connect the PC port of the load cell pedal to the PC.
What if I’m getting it for my Xbox?
Quick Release 2.0 release, when? Seriously. Since the announcement over a years ago, I'm holding back my DD2 + two wheels order! I don't want to double buy QRs!
Same no homo. I dont want the faulty plastic qr nor the qr1. For that price point u gotta get a qr on a level from simatic and so on.
I also would love for a new v3 pedal Version. The price difference between the csl isnt that big but i would like them more premium. However the V3 are already outdated a bit, since its so hard to change stuff
Can you add the load cell and just not use the clutch at all? I tried doing this and it could be the reason why the accelerator stopped working. Or else it was the RJ12 cable connected from the accel to the load cell the wrong way round. Either way my accel is fried. The instructions should have been much clearer. Pain in the Whole
Yes it is absolutely possible to use the pedals without a clutch. I'm sorry to hear that you've run into an issue, please create a support ticket via the My Products section of your Fanatec account and the team will resolve this for you.
@@domb_fanatec2826 Hello, is there a connection guide for this? I would also like to only use the gas pedal and the load cell pedal. Hallo, gibt es dafür auf eine Anschluß-Anleitung? Ich würde auch gerne nur das Gas-Pedal und das Loadcell Pedal nutzen.
Why not detect if i do the same as you?
I wire it exactly as it shows and it kills my pedals, without the clutch it works fine
what about installing on PS5? should I connect both 2 USB cables to PS5?
No
Do you know when the kit will be coming
Please check the CSL Pedals Load Cell Kit product page (make sure the site is set to your region) for the current availability date, if you were to place an order in that moment. If you have previously purchased this product, then you should check your 'Orders' page in your Fanatec account for the estimated shipping date that is specific to your order.
Why don't I have the same petal base as this
I did this and now my throttle percentage is 71% at full throttle, someone help
I ordered the bundle and they didn’t even send me the lc😭
but u didn't show how to connect to pc if load cell is in wheelbase spot...
Wdym?
Just bought the load cell kit, and my pedals stoped working.. tried following the tutorial but it dosent recognize the clutch or gas just load cell?
I have the same

@@domb_fanatec2826 Have tried every cabel option so i dont know
@@domb_fanatec2826 Have tried to delete drivers too
@@domb_fanatec2826 But i dont think its the cabels so it must be some sort of glitch or some thing since it wierd that 2 cabels just stop working all of a sudden
Any chance of releasing more premium pedals, akin to the Heusinkveld sim pedals ultimate?
Podium Pedals are in development.
@@domb_fanatec2826 Nice 👍
I cannot for the life of me get this thing to work via RJ12. If I disconnect it from RJ12 and instead do USB, it works.
Hi, I followed the full guide but the brake doesn’t work. It doesn’t even move a mm even under pressure. Is there something I’m doing wrong?
Hi Faisal, the brake definitely moves if you press hard. The load cell kit is intended to provide a high level of resistance, this allows you to train your muscle memory better for threshold braking. It's also important to have the pedals hard mounted to something solid, and to have a solid seat as well, so you can comfortably brake with a lot of force. But if you run the BRF setting very low, the pedal should be very sensitive to even touching it slightly (you should even get a reading by pushing on it with your finger). If you are not seeing any reading on the brake axis, then the product is either wired incorrectly, or there is a fault. Please open a support ticket via the My Products section of your Fanatec account for assistance.
I thought there was actually going to be step by step video instruction, not a hip beat and read the instructions as fast as ya can while trying to do everything. Not very user friendly to someone that's 100% new to setting up sim equipment. Nothing was said about how to do this via Playstation as what it was purchased for. So I guess I need to finish installing the wheelbase and hope there's instructions in there for PS users or else I'll need to go by a computer now to update the drivers????
Looking forward to squeezing this before 8nm torque pull's my arms outta their sockets.
The accelerator and clutch (old break) stopped working. If i connect the old (real clutch) it works but the accelerator doesn't. I don't know what to do. Help! I followed all the steps and now It is not working.
Hi Felippe, please contact support, they will be able to provide some troubleshooting steps.
For me the same... Got my Load Cell yesterday, played about 2 hours, now the throttle stopped working... Even if I roll back to out of the box config, breake is working, throttle not...
Is this the party boy music? 😂
Absolute nightmare to setup and use!
No Throttle after instail the LC Kit
Still not working at the Moment
I made everey step live the video
For me the exact same...
Hi Victor.
I just installed the LC and throttle doesn't work either.
Have you fixed it in the meantime?
Not realy i use the old Brake in clutch Mode but in game as throttle
The original thrttle is just an hub in the middle of base
4 me ist better becose the old Brake fells better without the Rubber
But there is an tuning kit 4 the LC kit i will test IT becouse thos paddel has no paddelway
What if I'm on xbox?
everything worked for me except the brake pedal.. :(
it works out of nowhere now lol
La pédale de frein Load Cell et beaucoup trop rigide il faut une version 2 !!!
Awesome song
Does anyone know how to fix rj12 and usb connection. I accidently connected them together and now bust.
Did the same damn thing. Now I need help. Did you getting any advice?
@@wmgroome did you manage to fix this, pretty sure I’ve done the same with mine
@@Bongson512 i couldn't wait on support, i went ahead and purchased the CSL pedal combo again and used the Load Cell I already had. Didn't make the same mistake twice.
@@wmgroome I may have done the same, considering buying new ones. In that case, i wouldn't have to buy a new LC pedal as well, right? Only the standard pedal set?
@@martinronningyt that’s right. The LC pedal still worked for me. Just fried the throttle and clutch, so I replaced and haven’t had an issue since.
ok but why is the damn thing so hard to depress?
My pedals worked for just 3 months… trash
Sorry but this video is as confusing as anything. The cables don’t marry up to the pictures. And now when I go into fanatec configuration none of my pedals work.
Hi Seth, this video is showing cable placements exactly the same as the Quick Guide you received in the package. The hardware shown here is also exactly the same as what you should have received. Please take care to connect the RJ12 cables in the correct sockets. Then ensure that your wheel base is up to date with the latest firmware. Driver 436 is the latest at the moment. You should be prompted to update your firmware after installing this driver package (when you open the Fanatec Control Panel for the first time). If the inputs are still not reading correctly please contact support. You can open a Support Ticket via the My Products section of your Fanatec account, or use the Live Chat icon on the site.
The video doesnt say anything about most of your pedals coming broken out of the box......it also doesnt mention you have the worst and slowest cumstomr service ive ever seen. Fantatec is a bad company....please do not buy from them.
At least make your stickers plastic.
Don’t connect them both at the same time?? Should of made that plainly clear from the start, absolutely ridiculous, mines broken because I wasent aware of that.. I didn’t design it not my fault at all.. any normal person is obviously going to plug everything in
Absolute joke
Sorry but that is totally your fault.
On the bottom of the Load Cell Pedal is a White/Red sticker saying "Warning! Read the Quick Guide before connecting any cables! Make sure you connect the load cell to the "Wheelbase / Load Cell" port on the throttle pedal. Connecting to the wrong port can cause irreversible damage to the electronics and prevent the pedals from functioning."
In the Quick guide on step 4 there´s an imagine showing that connecting both ports at the same time is wrong and highlighted red. Beside this picture there´re to other pictures showing only one connected port which is highlighted green and has a green arrow.
You clearly ignored the warnings and never read the Quick Guide.
