@@shantabalu Abhishek also tried his best in the industry. However, no one can take place of Amitabh, incl. his own son, so it is not justified to compare Abhishek with his illustrious father. Take Kishore Kumar and Amit Kumar. After so many years of unjust comparison, people finally realized the talent of Amit Kumar (when he is good 70 years old). Also, no one talks about it, but it seems the whole finances of the Bachchan family are managed by Abhishek Bachchan, who seems to have taken it to well beyond $400 M. Shweta Bachchan's daughter has also become a successful entrepreneur.

The great Amitabh bachchan
Partly true he did lose some money but during this period he was never bankrupt or nearer to it. He is a very smart man. He took help from the then political leader of UP Amar Singh. Later he ditched him too. He is certainly not as honest a person like say great Dev Anand who lost a lot of money in producing movies but never took any political help. Some may argue that some of the films of Dev Anand during his last years were not good but he was a good paymaster even when he had no money left. He sold his property to make movies whether good or bad. My observations are on the basis of what appeared in Press about Amitabh and Dev Anand.

Amitabh has used & DISCARDED many people ......like comedian Mehmood and Amar Singh. He was inseparable with Amar Singh & overnight he dumped him.
Dev Anand had deep love for movie making and he did not pretend that he has made lots of money on his movies. Nothing FAZED him. He died in his sleep. That was his victory.
Dev also introduced lots of NEW young faces like Tina Munim. He did NOT make politics his second career like Dharam Shatru Sunil Dutt et al and I respect that.

Listening to kader khan, who was a true hero, writer dialogue master, great villian, great speaker, excellent eye of society, and potryal. That's more than amitabh has shown in movies so his true life is questionable! His amesia of great friends is a comman trait!
But you dont know that it was Amitabh only who identified Kader Khan and introduced him to film industry. Ja ke pata kaar Amitabh ne kya kya kiya hai doston ke liye..only thing is that people speak about him only..he doesnt speak about anything and anyone. Do you know that it is Amitabh due to which Amjad Khan's career florished as he was blacklisted by Salim Javed after Sholay fight? He even saved his life when Anjad met fatal accident on the way from Pune. Do you know that Amitabh used to take care of families of set staffs and senior character actors financially? He nevr soke in public what he does. Did you know this all Anjan story? Do u know that Amitabh returned all money to every lender? Do you know that on one call of Rajiv Gandhi Amitabh joined politics and on his one call he left it and due to Gandhi his had to bear false allegations of Bofors in which Rajiv Gandhi sidelined? After Rajiv Gandhi demise Amitabh Bachchan was left with no backing. He piggy backed on Samajwadi Party. Both Amar Singh and Amitabh were inseperable, both uaed each other for their own advantage. Amitabh is a cunning person. Used and discarded Mahmood, Kader Khan and many from the Industry. ABCL was a crap business decision on his part, which failed and he had to repay the debtors. Nothing great in it. Every business man (small/big) has done it.
