This is my first time ever hearing her speak. She very much glossed over the subject of being with PRINCE for several years. Playing with him musically AND rumored to have been his girlfriend is alot. How can that not have meant more to her than the impression she is giving us here about it? Very odd. I would’ve thought that she would’ve paid him much more respect than she did. After all, she must’ve known him very well. The only thing I can think of is that Prince may have sworn her to secrecy. So many of the people around him give us so little details. What did he do to swear them to secrecy???
Hmm interesting theory
I've read that Prince had everyone that worked for/with him sign confidentiality agreements. I've read this even applied to his wives. But confidentiality agreements end with the death of the individual, so if Andy signed one, she would no longer be bound by it. I suspect she doesn't say much just out of respect for him, or because she wants to protect her own privacy.

It is rumored that they broke up when Andy confessed she was bisexual (which was against Prince’s JW religious beliefs.) It’s said the breakup broke her heart …and his.
