    Hey Remy! Love your videos, can you make a video on how to transfer weight on the bike, corners, jumps, whips, stoppies, manuals, and overall bike control like being light on your feet so you can move the bike around? If so, I'd love to see it! Keep up the great work bro, you're inspiring many people!

    • @remymetaillerraw
      @remymetaillerraw Před rokem +17

      When I say making yourself light, I mean unloading your weight of the bike (almost slowly jumping but while keeping the bike on the ground). And when I say making yourself heavy I mean compressing the suspensions and applying all your weight on the bike on a centered manner.

    • @ZhengZL69
      @ZhengZL69 Před rokem +4

      Hey, this might seem obvious but I think these weight transfers are better learned with practice. It's almost like cornering, watching 50 videos isn't gonna get you far, but trying to corner changing your technique each time will eventually get you going fast out of a corner.
      It's the kind of thing you gotta go by feel imo.

    • @nprakas1
      @nprakas1 Před rokem

      @@ZhengZL69 Exactly. I watched so many videos, it didn't do anything for me until I had a full season of riding hard trails, riding them repeatedly and compressing harder or unweighting more. It's safe when done incrementally, just push yourself barely past your comfort zone every time you ride

I come from a skateboarding background and have ridden a BMX bike before so I feel really comfortable on the MTB and I use my bike at my local bike parks, I’ve tuned it for my weight and riding style but I wonder if I could benefit with a longer travel more stout bike.
