  • I made this video while I was really tired during the night so I had to ASMR it, I am sorry. It was originally about my satirical video on toxic positivity, but it became about my entire league of legends experience since I've been playing it for a year. (I started February I think..) I state that I never troll, but I also almost never give 100% either, since there are times where I boot the game while I am tired after work or simply in a bad mood. I also talk a bit about the counters to my champs and also why I hate the idea of "getting better" or how coaching sounds obnoxious. If you like me or hate me, pls tell me why in the comments bellow, I don't care about the like/dislike feature it self. So yeah, if you read this, I hope you have a fun day!

    If you just wanna play for "fun" (the way you define it) then you should do it in Quickplay or Draft. The ranked modes are made for people who play to increase their rank and for whom the definitions of "fun" is using their knowledge of the game to best their opponents and win the game. When you have your fun in a place that's designed for those people's fun, you are ruining their fun since every player plays a big role in the outcome of the game. And the only reason to do it in a ranked game and not in one of the alternative modes is if for you to have fun you need somebody else to suffer.

      I should've just used "limit testing" rather then fun, since to me limit testing a champ in ranked makes me better with them, thus improving my skill and improving future games that I will win. The thing about low elo ranked (iron-bronze) is that a lot of people treat it like a casual mode, because in theory it is for casuals. I don't believe casuals are getting to diamond everyday.
      A few years ago, when I played Apex Legends, I treated low elo casually and still won effortlessly and diamond Elo I had to actually try and be serous, this is how I see iron/bronze in league. I don't believe you are wrong in playing bronze and limit test or use a item that might not be in the meta, or a rune that is not in the meta.
      Yeah, I could've been clearer in this vid.

      @@kokorov3yeah but you said "im just not intentionally winning" which you should in a ranked mode, whatever the game is. Going for "a funny solo baron" or "poppy E into the tower with 3 enemies" is basically trolling. But for the most part, you are 100% right to play it for fun, just maybe try to win when playing ranked. Not tryhard, just not full troll xd

    You can just have fun, but the fact that its boring when you know everything is false. Firstly nobody knows everything and even if they would, they couldnt use it. You figured out, for example, that shaco clone can tp animation, its satisfying to bait ppl with it, but even better feeling is baiting good players.
    Saying that you dont want to climb so you can have fun doesnt make sense, especialy if you check out some of the challenger players that play similar picks to what you mentioned, poppy supp, shaco top, teemo jungle these and many others arent meta picks by any means but there are ppl there who climb to the top with them just because they had fun and it suited their playstyle.
    Idk why you say that getting better is boring, I think that your perception of high elo players is different from what they actually are and do. There is a difference between knowing what is the most optimal way to play and actually playing around disrupting the enemies optimal way.
    The only reason i wanted to get higher in elo was to actually enjoy outplaying ppl not outplaying them because they had no idea what is going on. And if you dont believe me jsut check out Pink Ward videos of having fun vs highest elo with shaco top.

    • @kokorov3
      @kokorov3  Před 5 měsíci

      To add to my video: I don't want to lose myself in the meta-gaming souse, playing the most optimal way, by watching the most optimal guides to get wins just bores me to tiers. But, I was kinda stubborn to not look up at least items, which now I did and am having a better quality game experience.

    AP Shaco is a blessing. I play JG AP Shaco and autofill Sup. They work pretty similarly and it's a bless to climb with this champ. I used to struggle with AD Shaco, but as soon as I found the bless of AP Shaco, I can't stop playing it. The goal of AD Shaco is to win the game as fast as possible. 15 kills and 1 shot squishy. AP Shaco is the exact opposite. The goal is to stall the game as slow as possible. I enjoy the 50+ games and it becomes total chaos. Enemy assassins with 20 kills, 2 level ahead with 1 and a half item lead gets trapped in complete misery. I got to climb to Plat last league, but the enjoyment of the champ does not make any difference. The chill playstyle is such a great breeze. Everybody hates you when you play AP Shaco in JG. I remember trying to gank bot and realize that the enemy JG is about to double kill my bot lane. I plant a box, throws a dagger and just goes back to farming. The reaction of that teammate Soraka is gold. I told her, "I did everything to help. All my skills are in cd and the enemy is still full life." She is enraged. Screaming at how useless AP Shaco is🤣

      @kokorov3  Před 5 měsíci

      Yeah, when I picked the champ originally I had loss after loss and like many other souls, I too found the blessing of AP Shaco. But instead of using him in the jungle, I pick support. Very fun champ.

  • @alexa_0080
    @alexa_0080 Před 5 měsíci +1

    Bro if your goal in the game is to have fun, I support that 100%.
    Playing to improve is not everyone's goal, and it shouldnt be.
    But saying that...
    Why dont you play "normal" modes then? ( quickplay, draft pick, aram..)
    Do not play ranked if you are not going to try your best. Almost everyone in ranked is playing it because they wanna get better and climb, and by "having fun" as you call it (PURPESFULLY not focusing on the objectives 5:00 , PURPESFULLY staying in the jg for half an hour and waiting for enemy to walk into the shaco box... 11:30 ) you are ruining the game for other players.
    It is fun for you, and you only.
    In the end of the day, it is just a game. But different game modes have different purposes.
    So if you want to have fun and even troll, be my guest , do it in DRAFT, ARAM, QUICKPLAY, but do not take your "fun" into a RANKED game.

    • @kokorov3
      @kokorov3  Před 5 měsíci

      I feel like most people in iron/bronze play for fun. Iron/bronze is the next step from draft games, but I won't call it serious until you hit at least gold/plat. (and in my opinion some players play mechanically better in iron then those in bronze/silver, they [like me] are unaware of some of the metagaming aspects of league [Objectives/timers/counter-items/-counter-runes] and get held back in lower ranks due to that metagaming).
      Also, I do love improving, but I love to improve through gameplay type discoverys and not tutorials/coaching.
      I kinda broke that rule of mine a bit yesterday. I looked up a item guide. Today I won a game against gold people... it felt like cheating a bit. Now my team was overall better then the enemy team, but I held my own and played of my team.
      I want to improve at my own pace and trough failure. Nice comment, thanks.
