I have hiked/climbed Kilimanjaro, The Mountains of the Moon in Uganda and Mount Kenya (Point Lenana). We had a Tanzanian, Moses Kashumba, from Arusha as our guide on all three mountains and I can highly recommend Moses to you. Arusha if you want to climb Kilimanjaro. Watch miss Trudy and wode Maya. They did it. Otherwise Zanzibar puts all the Kenyan beaches to shame. Apart from lamu. Dar is different. Arusha a mini Nairobi. People are nice.
It's weird, when David speaks English you can hear a slight Canadian-French accent yet when he speaks French it sounds like he has an even bigger accent. Or maybe it's just that I'm used to hearing "standard French."

I know this is a dream But one of my fave CZcamsrs started 2021 at 50000 and finished it at 300000+ (Fumi Desalu Vold) I can easily foresee you hitting the 100K mark.

Kili is easier to climb since its like one slope, while Mt. Kenya is more technical with zig zags, rocks and small paths but the scenery is amazing. Hopefully you get to visit the lakes in Mt. Kenya. Anyway we will see.
